So I think even if FUD, the tether story has sufficient noise in the net to affect the price.
I had been expecting tether to die a few years ago. The fact that it hasn't is plus in my book that tether is legit.
HOWEVER
the fact they have not been audited makes me think they are fractional reserve.
I also think most exchanges are fractional reserve in crypto.
In fact, except for signed addresses/crypto and dex/uni swap every other financial instrument is fractional, it's just a question of how much.
We have faked USD chaseing faked btc, so it should probably even out, excepting that real BTC is likely undervalued
I kinda wish tether would just go, take the BTC hit an carry on. However that's just wishful thinking, a new FUD will be invented and the cycle will continue.
Every Epoch will have its Gox.

I did Token Swap procedure on Stratis Core Wallet but I have not received the STRAX token in my STRAX wallet. Both wallets are up-to date as per recent block.
Token Swap Transaction was done on 28/11/2020, when can I expect to receive STRAX token. Can anyone please help?

Does it mean we will get 9,16%?
Can we keep the 8% airdrop for 30th April as it is and add 1 BTX to registered address with minimum balance of 1 BTX for the Final Airdrop on the same day. The same way it was distributed as Christmas gift. This will be befitting to all those who have hold their coins since 2nd snapshot in nov 2017. As per YPSI prediction, the percentage increase of BTX distribution is 8 %. if we distribute 8 % to all registered address, it will be approximately 531513 BTX with remaining 75751 to be distributed to all registered address as 1 BTX or as it seems fit for the developers. I also didn't received ETN payments with the ETN miner app. I don't know if they have a problem with their server or it is a problem with the blockchain which is very slow. It seems that there is too much transactions on the blockchain. Not enough real miners... Could some people do real mining to help for the transfers of ETN? Yes. I checked the Mobile miner states that their blockchain is under heavy load. As per the mobile miner, it states that current payout is 10 ETN but my pending balance which is more than current payout is still not reflecting in the wallet. With sudden surge in Altcoin price, more and more people are buying altcoins. But, If we look at the price of low priced coins, there has been a huge rise in value of this coins. And if we look at price history of most of the altcoins, we will find a cycle that happens every six moths or a year, wherein the price of Altcoins increases and in a month this gets dumped and gets traded for Bitcoin resulting in massive price increase for Bitcoin.
The last time this kind of surge happened was in May and June, price of most of top 10 coins like XRP, NEM, ETH, etc was around this time. This was followed with dramatic fall in the value and increase in Bitcoins price in August 2017. Since, Bitcoin price keeps on rising, the USD value of all Altcoins also rises but then if we look at satoshi value from now and then it is almost the same.
This may or may not happen this time. But looking at over 800 billion dollar market cap of all cryptocurrencies and BTC dominance of around 33 percent, if and when, the altcoins are dumped for BTC, it will easily double the value in USD from now.

BCH will not overtake BTC because the community support that BTC has is unmatched to any other coin.
BTC is the reason for so many cryptocurrencies today and no matter the scaling problem that is affecting it right now, it is here to stay. And remember that BTC is not just a cryptocurrency or just a coin, it is an idea.

There seems to be a contrasting views among industry experts and nobody knows for sure whether Bitcoin futures would spell disaster and send the prices tumbling down or skyrocket it to a new all time high.
What are your views on it?
CBOE futures trading has propelled the price from around $16000 to nearly $20000. With CME futures launching today will this bull run continue or are we going to see any corrections in the short term? Well .. nobody knows for sure .. only time will tell. |

When i am looking at a total market cap at Coinmarketcap, I cannot help but wonder what if a big investors in cryptocurrencies makes a move to cash out at this time. And i'm sure that traditional bitcoin holders believe in HODL. But lately, the cash inflow that we have seen in this market is probably big institutional investors. And they will be looking to exit at some point with huge profits.
So if and when that happens, I feel there will be a huge decline.
What are your thoughts?

Two days into Futures trading and Bitcoin price is showing an upward trend. Though total volumes of contracts being traded on CBOE is very minimal when compared to the normal exchanges. It seems that currently wait and watch approach is followed by traditional investors. Maybe after the CME trading starts on DEC 18 will bring in massive volumes. I'm just happy currently to watch my portfolio value go up |

Since yesterday some of the altcoins have been very low. And some good Altcoins like OTN, XRP, XEM, OMG and PPC have dropped more than 30% due to BTC being at an all time high.
Will you buy Altcoins or would you still prefer HODLing the BTC rather than risking it in Altcoins.
