I haven't used bitcointalk for a long time, but I feel i should post what Tagcash has been working on in regards to Tagcoin Some history first Way back in 2013 i created Tagcoin for use as a rewards cryptocurrency, but quickly came to find that most companies want their own brand of currency, so that concept didn't hold. As we built and learned within Tagcash, we found technical limitations of Tagcoin didn't allow us to do what we wanted, so we left it alone. In China in 2017, the crypto gambling craze took hold of Tagcoin and they pumped the price up to about US$1, and i was approached by a group of Chinese to relaunch it and do an ICO... users agreed to burn it 3 to 1 in advance of doing the ICO. Then the Chinese govt banned exchanges and ICOs and the whole project fizzled. I had created TAGX inside Tagcash as our own rewards, so I converted Chinese balances to TAGX with a view to doing more with it and thats where it has stood till recently. TAGX is only used inside Tagcash, so it is limited for anyone who holds it...unless they do something within the ecosystem, it's no good for them or anyone else. I have been working on new product called Tagbond.com for the last couple of months (similar to Enjin and Enjin coin) - it is an ERC1155 contract and site, to create non fungible tokens for geoTAGs, game tokens and tokens for other business use cases. TAG is bonded to NFTs as they are created (and given back when tokens are burned). NFTs can be bought and sold for TAG, or you can see immediately the items you have created on opensea.io and trade them there. You can play with the site right now as we develop, using Rinkeby network, faucets to get ETH and TAG on Rinkeby network. When the site goes live, we will be offering TAG priced at 1 cent, rising 1 cent per week to 10 cents and then let exchanges set pricing. We created a new ERC20 token (TAG) ( https://etherscan.io/token/0xcc4ae94372da236e9b113132e0c46c68704246b9) as the main cryptocurrency used on Tagbond.com, and there will be a permanent offer to exchange 1 Tagcoin to 1 TAG, by sending the burn address to me and either a stellar or ethereum address to send TAG. We use Stellar to be able to trade it on the DEX - it is a token representation of the ERC20 Token. If you already trade on Stellar DEX, details are here https://stellar.expert/explorer/public/asset/TAG-GCISLTVXDF5W5HB53VOKQFEJOG367GKCLQNFF7YZSPFPVGFMREADOTAG-1 (the issuer address is GCISLTVXDF5W5HB53VOKQFEJOG367GKCLQNFF7YZSPFPVGFMREADOTAG) On Tagcash, we are developing a non custodial wallet as part of the Tagcash app (seed phrases, private key on device etc), for BTC, ETH and ERC20 Tokens, and XLM and Stellar tokens. After we have done that we will set up the ERC1155 collectibles section as well. This will work well with Tagbond, or any other ERC721 or ERC1155 tokens. We are in the process of sending TAG to our Chinese holders, and updating information on the AEX exchange for Tagcoin. The end result of this is that this breathes new life into Tagcoin. Mining it will still be useful, and it has a better use case now, which should help the price rise. It is anticipated that the price should be similar to EnjinCoin, currently about 10 cents.

To make things a little easier, I will recreate the current TagCoin on Stellar as Tagcash Rewards (TAGX), with a 1 to one swap for Stellar token holders (easy to do simply be sending stellar TAG to the issuer address and it would automatically send TAGX to the sender address. I will keep open the direct swap for old TagCoin to new TAGX at 10 to 1 exchange (10 new TAGX for 1 old TagCoin), after sending to the burn address TRCryptoLifeDotNetBurnAddrXXX6gvik, and sending me the transaction ID to prove it.
Hopefully, this will remove the confusion between the 2 different currencies.
We can talk discuss transfer of twitter and social media for TagCoin, since someone needs to take charge of it and as a community you would have to decide who.

Some answers to questions: TagCoin on Tagcash is the same as TagCoin on Stellar - we are also creating other anchored assets as well, namely Fiat (eg PHP, Israeli Shekels, and more), Tokenised Bitcoin, ERC20 assets, NEM assets like Loyalcoin and so on. We are also integrating directly to accept assets created on Stellar itself. This is so we can offer trading via tagcash into the Stellar decentralized exchange (DEX), and also as a payment method within Tagcash Wallet, or for remittances. Anytime we create an asset on Stellar, we also create it on our own internal multichain blockchain for whatever use cases that is needed (transaction free movement of assets without using our APIs usually). The only assets that sit ONLY on the Tagcash Blockchain are rewards, share tokens and Non Fungible Tokens created within Tagcash. Everything else either already exists on its own public blockchain, or inside a platform (such as Ethereum ERC20, Stellar , NEM etc). We just tokenise those for easier use within our platform, or on stellar to allow easier decentralized trading, and act as the anchor bank for them. I have removed our TagCoin batch from sale on DEX, since there seems to be a few others already selling it there..and let the market find the right price...:-). When the time is right, we will offer more for sale as needed. Hopefully the price rises, which is good for all.. . A lot of that requires more use cases in Tagcash, which we are hard at work on creating. Later this week, we will be pushing live, the changes to send and receive stellar assets, where we have them issued on the Tagcash Wallet (including TagCoin of course), using federated addresses, and to create your own nicknames (eg: mark*tagcash.com is one of mine). This way it makes it super simple to send any asset we have "stellarized" between any Stellar wallet out there. However, some of them are not so good at recognising federated addresses, so anyone finding this, send the creators of those wallets a message to correct it.:-) As for Stellar Term not recognising TAG, that's an internal thing in the their app, and we have to get 100 Reddit Karma points to ask them to change this..not entirely our problem, but it would be nice to have TAG and PHP on their wallet with the graphics, so you don't have to put the issuer address for it.. Just in case you need it, the issuer address for Tagcoin is: TAG GDF75JL7X2XEQL5K743XKNU74CHGAVMZP666BANSC67IHFMAHTC6TEVP

There were only 3 addresses I sent coins to on ERC20 - and I am asked they be sent back to the issuer address, so I can burn them all. I will then send 100x of new TagCoin to the Stellar addresses.
For the foreseeable future, I will burn any old TagCoin to new TagCoin at 100x value, as long as they are burned off the old chain and I get the burn transaction ID.
We have just integrated Stellar into our demo wallet, for receiving and sending any asset based on Stellar that we manage (we have PHP, TAG and XLM). It should be available in the live wallet within the next day or so
We will be issuing BTC on Stellar as an anchor shortly as well, and showing 500 BTC as security.

I haven't posted for a few months, as we have been busy building out the network, working with government here to get licensed, and just, well, doing business.. As the above poster mentioned, we decided not to stay with an Ethereum based coin, and moved to Stellar instead. This is because we are integrating tagcash with Stellar for movement of money across borders, and to allow us to take in Fiat currency around the world, used in Tagcash, without needing a E Money License in each location. This is fine for most currencies, except USD - always an issue dealing with the USA.. We finally got our EMoney license after 4 long years and we are now able to compete with companies like Gcash, Paymaya on a legal footing..More importantly, our license authorises us to issue Fiat currency on permissioned blockchains, which includes Stellar. So we are now an anchor for PHP, and will also issue Bitcoin on Stellar as well. This means money can be sent from abroad in any currency in a few seconds, appearing in Tagcash Wallet and ready to be spent, cashed out etc. Because of my interest for micropayments, I wanted to keep whole TagCoins cheap at 1 US cent, for people to buy and use within the Tagcash Wallet, where we use it as a payment token for many services and will expand on this as well. If you want to see how it is used, take a look at https://tagcash.com/tagcoin.phpYou can trade TagCoin on multiple Stellar DEX - there is about 1.6 billion issued and circulating, mostly in the Tagcash Wallet. If you want to withdraw to Stellar, I can do it manually for you, but within the next week or so, you will be able to move it in and out of the wallet really easily. If you want, you can also have your own Stellar address like mark*tagcash.com, to send money or tokens to, including Stellar Lumens (XLM) One of the projects we are working on is tokenizing company shares, under equity crowdfunding rules in Philippines. Startups here can raise up to 10 million pesos (about 190k USD), by offering equity for sale or as security for peer to peer lending. This will be under tagfunder.com, which is part of Tagcash. I will try to post more often here about developments...

if you have old tagcoin wallets, sure you send to other tagcoin wallets..we don;t control that...
as for the explorer, probably not going to maintain it...and the site will redirect to tagcash.com

I checked the burn of coins, the majority of which was done in China just under 4 million Tagcoin have been burned and converted to TAGCASH tokens. There are approximately 10 million new TAGCASH issued to new users (about 450 holders).
If any holders of new TAGCASH do not want to have them in the Tagcash central wallet, you can either connect your own node (using Multichain.com and connecting as per instructions on the web wallet), or sending them to your ether address for the ERC20 tokens (using the webwallet to send them, just enter your ethereum address). Alternatively, just message me and I can do it privately.
The TAGCASH ERC20 token is what exchanges will be using in the near future, including our own exchange.

On 31 March Tagcash will discontinue the support for Tagcoin and the tagcoin.org website will redirect to tagcash.com. We are still doing the 1 for 1 swap which will end 31 March. An ERC20 Token has been created for TAGCASH (TAG) and can be searched for on etherscan.io or here is the contract address https://etherscan.io/token/0x08999f1237dea81da49c86bdbd0a1e72f7960328We are tokenizing many assets, which include any cryptocurrency added to the wallets. A corresponding multichain token can be used to move funds outside of the Tagcash wallet, and can be sent by address. The way that sending works within the wallet is as follows: 1. if email or ID used, it sends to users in the wallet 2. if multichain address used, it looks for user in our database with an account and transfers, but if not then it transfers to the multichain address sitting on another node wallet 3. If address entered is not either of the above, it will automatically send a request to pay to that address, usually that will be an external address for a cryptocurrency - we send from cold wallets to ECR20, Bitcoin or other types of wallets. The exchange is still under construction, although we are testing it at the moment. TAGCASH will be used to pay for creating or adding new tokens to the wallet, exchange, used as discount trading fees on the exchange, as an intermediary token between sales of rewards tokens, and as a redemption currency in the loyalty and marketing section of the wallet. It will also be used to pay for other services as released. If any developers are interested in building additional modules, please get in touch. I will end this post with a link to what we are doing with Fiat currency on the blockchain, helping with financial inclusion in Philippines http://tagcash.com/pesosonblockchain.html

Tagcash operates a centralized wallet from tagcash.com - so you can register and I can give burned coins there, or alternatively, Tagcash has just created an ECR20 version for TAGCASH which you can see at this contract address: 0x08999f1237dea81da49c86bdbd0a1e72f7960328 https://etherscan.io/token/0x08999f1237dea81da49c86bdbd0a1e72f7960328You can add this to any wallet like Coinomi or myetherwallet.com, and send me your ethereum address to send the TAGCASH to We will be automating this in the near future so that you can transfer TAGCASH back and forth against Multichain version of TAGCASH...this is easier, faster and has no transaction fees to move around, but we and other exchanges will be trading the ECR20 version. When sending it to your account on tagcash.com for spending on any of the services there, you can send from a multichain node wallet, or as ECR20

I am considering extending the 1 for 1 burn of old for new, and it will be automated via the Tagcash Wallet..This will also apply to other coins that are old and want to recreate a new currency that exists on the Tagcash Blockchain..
At the moment, the new Tagcoin is online via Tagcash.com only - if you want to transfer coins to your own wallet and control with your own private keys etc..then you will need to install v2 of open source Multichain (multichain.com) and connect to the Tagcash blockchain via the command line (multichaind tagcash@tag.tagcash.com:3000). This will also apply to any other token created on Tagcash. We will shortly be adding private key management within the Tagcash Wallet as well. The format of addresses is same as Bitcoin, so you can use existing Bitcoin wallet generators to create cold storage for TAG or any other tokens created in Tagcash.
Creation of your own coins/tokens is now live at tagcash.com but it costs 250 TAG to create - we are adding an Airdrop capability for disbursements to others, with filters for control of distribution.
We are working on the Trading Module, it is taking some time tho, but you will be able to trade TAG against Ethereum, BTC, USD and PHP.
The wallet is live at tagcash.com, or wallet.tagcash.com to login directly. The beta, with all the service modules, and extra features, you can see at beta.tagcash.com, using the same credentials to login, but not all features are live yet. As we test and connect to the API, these features are then made live in wallet.tagcash.com
Tagcash is also open to white labeling the tagcash.com wallet. It is fairly easy both on web and app. On the website, we use AngularJS5, linked to the Tagcash API and for apps, we use modules in Fusetools. Our first project will be for a BPO Coin, which is being launched on Tagcash and will have it's own simplified wallet connected to their website.

@roncar - the team is as it has been for the last few years - our office in Philippines, which is about 20 staff, and my office in India, about 12 developers, and have added another 5 freelancer developers for certain sections of the wallet (eg: HD wallets is quite specialized)...adding more to get the services modules done. There is a lot done, but a lot more to do.
@mPUTZ - 10 Billion TagCoin were issued on Stellar

Tagcash is based out of Philippines and Singapore, building and operating permissioned blockchain based digital wallets, token issuance and sales, crowdfunding, loyalty services, peer to peer lending and other services, using Bitcoin Core Multichain (multichain.com) and Stellar. Tagcash has 20 staff in Philippines (admin and support mainly) and another 20 in India (developers). Tagcash is an authorised Electronic Money Issuer (EMI) ( https://tagcash.com/emi.pdf) regulated under the Central Bank of the Philippines (BSP). We are authorised to issue and operate Philippines Pesos on Permissioned Blockchains. TagCoin (TAG) was issued on Stellar Blockchain (details of the stellar.toml is at https://tagcash.com/.well-known/stellar.toml) and is used to pay for services in the system, and any products built on the Tagcash Blockchain. There were 10 Billion Tokens issued. Balances on Tagcash were automatically multiplied by 100. Any old currency from the original TagCoin created in 2013, can be burned for 100 to 1 conversion rate to the new Stellar based TagCoins. Burn address is TRCryptoLifeDotNetBurnAddrXXX6gvik - send info to mark at tagcash dot com with the burn transaction ID and either the Tagcash ID number or your Stellar address. Just in case you need it, the issuer address for Tagcoin on Stellar is: TAG GDF75JL7X2XEQL5K743XKNU74CHGAVMZP666BANSC67IHFMAHTC6TEVP We are integrating Tagcash Wallet and services with Stellar, which means it will be easy to transfer Fiat currencies to and from the wallet and to trade TagCoin as needed. We are an anchor for Philippine Pesos, and will shortly be an anchor for Bitcoin and Ethereum as well. Integrating with other currencies means Tagcash can offer its services worldwide. More details on http://tagcash.comUsers can login to the webwallet from the main - there is also a demo version ( demo.tagcash.com) to play with, with it's own demo multichain etc. Good for developers to play with. Developers can also access the REST API, at developer.tagcash.comWe have a public forum running on Ryver, and communication via chat on website, telegram ( http://t.me/tagcashwallet), facebook page and chat http://facebook.com/tagcashrewards), and twitter ( http://twitter.com/tagcashwallet)

My password hadn't changed in years on Bitcointalk, so lesson learned, change passwords from time to time.... ...but really not worth fighting over, since the account was immediately frozen and I will be starting a new thread for tagcash anyway...

That's correct - send the transaction ID of the burned coins, to burn@tagcash.com, along with your Tagcash ID and we will credit it 3 to 1, untill the end of 2017. IN january it will be twice as much, and then drops down to 1 to 1ratio in Feb/March. tagcash is building a HD wallet and you can move your coins from tagcash into that HD wallet where you can control your own private keys. Alternatively, if you are OK with the command line, you can install Multichain and connect to the Tagcash chain and then send us your address to connect and send TAG to.

Quick Update - as of 21 December we have burned 1,147,372.90 old TAG coin and issued 3,442,118.70 new Tagcash Tokens in exchange. The exchange goes down to 2 for 1 in January, so get your burn request in before the end of the year...

@timelord - transferred 3x your burn amount to your account with Tagcash - If you like you can transfer to your own wallet by installing multichain (multichain.com), and running a command line connection "multichaind tagcash@tagcash.com:3000" - it will ask to permission address, so if you give that to me I will do that and then transfer what you want to the address..or you can keep it in Tagcash and trade it or spend it as we roll out services. We are working on HD wallet inside the tagcash site, but the option to do it via command line is there.. We are not giving up the github address for Tagcoin, we just won't be updating the source for it in future...we will be adding the Multichain code, and any other open source products such as tippit (tipping using any of the tokens created on tagcash, including TAG). Tagcash is offering a burn and add facility for holders of Tagcoin. Coins should be burned by sending an amount to the burn address "TRCryptoLifeDotNetBurnAddrXXX6gvik" and the transaction ID emailed to burn@tagcash.com, together with the ID or email on Tagcash, or the address on the TAG Multichain wallet node. Until end of December 2017, a 3 for 1 exchange is offered, in January 2018, a 2 for 1 exchange is offered and finally in February and March 2018, 1 to 1 exchange is offered. After the end of March 2018, support for older Tagcoin will be dropped - the tagcoin.org website will redirect to tagcash.com I personally will be burning 440,000 TAG and will update this post later..having issues right now in sending so much at once, when so many UTXOs are tiny due to minting...an unforeseen aspect of PoS. 20,000 TAG - http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/tx/?txid=4222083dba3e7149c5ddb16168ee90e57e2c9b894c0e33f133347a976b75d25520,000 TAG - http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/tx/?txid=ef74a4448d0da5eb486e1de4d299903472134c172ca86fc896a02765637d1ef210,000 TAG - http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/tx/?txid=5b04d4c2d5c5c432043d28a6b8d59dc69954575eb958e8cb75ecd4efcd6150df10,000 TAG - http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/tx/?txid=bb8d529e3035b12f5ee30a0bdefd22d25b2cbb8e99e20e407529b1a15ce6f1e310,000 TAG - http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/tx/?txid=5a73cede6a01896fc4765ba35d2e59910a9527f454b99b891575991a99218fdc10,000 TAG - http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/tx/?txid=c9f28c49fa0ea9aa8542bd11417b9ccc5698b458d52ac44bdcc16751cd23bc425,000 TAG - http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/tx/?txid=f8193418aca8798247e99dda0585d4c790aaec332cfbaf3af6608a8c3626485b5,000 TAG - http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/tx/?txid=3fc5f2ca9b092437c82749a3f46b01da75fa6775c1ae4b7e5f77a018f4ef45a45,000 TAG - http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/tx/?txid=b8bf8eb6d738937b385504b9068e63339977866edf78ab71649802b780416d08Also burned for others - the burn list is here: http://tagcoin.org/tagexplorer/www/address/?address=TRCryptoLifeDotNetBurnAddrXXX6gvik

Yes, I guess you could call it a fork..:-)... I took the old TagCoin as far as I could as it was, but I really wanted to build apps on it, and using Multichain with a new Tagcoin means that we can, and so can everyone else. Swapping old for new now will work out well..
