Can someone, please, confirm that DEM german forum is stating about various actions towards public entities (mainstream media, public relationships, etc.) ?
Thank you

...This coin survived without a working exchange for a very long time and kept a price of approx. 2000-2500 satoshi...
I always was astonished by its stable price despite of the total lack of conditions (working exchange, etc.), and concluded the same : I suppose it's a sign of strength ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ...

By the way, this coin (as any crypto) really needs a FIAT exchange I have a running Exchange Software since Dez/2013 based on bitcoin-central.net. You can change DEM/EUR/BTC. But it is not possible to bring a Crypto exchange online in Germany. Also, nobody from us want take the risk of official state hackers or long arm of the law... The only chance is you use www.crown-ex.com. Its headquartered in the Czech Republic. But there is very low DEM turnover. (it this the right word???) I believe the right term is "volume" referring to volume of transactions Anyway..... I believe this coin has great potential but very few people took it seriously. And the real damage is done by the lack of an exchange that actually works and is trustworthy. I don't understand why DEM was abandoned so much. And I am amazed it has survived for so long under these circumstances. This must mean something. Listen, Cryptopia is the first step, eMark needs to be listed somewhere in order for people to take it seriously. If you are committed to this coin and you are willing to put a serious amount of effort, eMark can be listed on other exchanges too. But right now it needs to hang on to somewhere. It's nice to have some dev feedback. Indeed, at least one step needs to be done, as Cryptopia one. And, as said, it's valuable that DEM has kept its "value" despite having been "abandoned"..

Yes, obviously ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ... But didn't think someone tried to with DEM ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) .... Looks like the developers have reverted v1.2.0
Deposits and withdrawals will be back online at cryptsy shortly after a chain resync
Hi Mullick, When will we be able to deposit DEM into our cryptsy accounts ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Forget Cryptsy. *scratching my big, empty head, obviously confused......*Now, why do you say that, I really wonder........ ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Well, since when DEM wallet is stuck at Cryptsy ? And if efforts are going towards Cryptopia, I think it translates to the same thought about Cryptsy ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ... By "Forget", I meant : "Others have waited a lot desperately, prepare to think about an alternative exchange".

you need 5MIO votes to get on the exchange right... so DOT is listed like vote ? couse that cost 0.7BTC ? am i right? for 0.7BTC we get new exchange ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) for DEM yes, for immediate addition to Cryptopia's exchange But it may cost much less, it may be 500k or 1M DOT, depends how much the other listed coins get within a week But efforts need to be synced in order to avoid them to be wasted (due to votes reset each end of week)

the issue remains though, all pools I can find have about the same hashrate and we have no idea where the vast majority of net's hashrate comes from.
I will check block explorer in case it includes a hint
I found various posts about "private pools" for DEM... http://forum.deutsche-emark.org/index.php?topic=691.0

my main problem is that net's hashrate is 87-88TH and if it's going to take me 2.5 hours to solve a block, I better solo mine it and keep the 50 DEM myself
ispace has 1.7TH (including me) hamsterpool has 2TH (me) gcpool is another 1.6TH (not me) miner-control.de has 5TH - never tried it, I don't like the wallet address as a username coinz.at has 4TH but I can't login and they don't respond to my emails and suprnova has something like 5GH
where are the rest? solo mining?
There are a lot of unknown / unlisted active pools as : http://dem.werming.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

I will definitely support the voting on cryptopia. I think 1,5 million dot votes or so should be enough to become DOT vote winner. On the other hand with 5 million votes it will be added immediately. I think we should all collect some cheap dots over the next 2 weeks or so and than throw it in the voting all at once. Every one should post how much he is willing to throw in, so we can see if it'll be enough and we should of course fix a date for this. just my 2 DEMs ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) As far as I'm concerned, I'll buy a few votes (200K DOT ?). I think anyone can send as much DOT as he likes - no restrictions as to the amount or how many transactions one can make. Cryptopia provides an address for each coin and the sum accumulated to this address within the week is what counts. I noticed week resets on Monday, so when we'll decide to get on board, we'll have till Sunday night to send the coins. And wosch76 is right: with 5 million coins you get added immediately, however the coin with most DOT votes (could be significantly less than 5M) gets added each week. Let's accumulate what we can and wait for the moderator's review. Indeed, just a slight organization and we can get this done one shot ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

A lot of sell orders were removed from Cryptsy....
Unless I'm wrong, what is needed is : 5 millions DOT.
As price doubled, 1 BTC is now required for such amount.
unless we get enough votes to support it, yes.... unfortunately. I am mining DOT, to get as much as possible. Whoever in this community has a few MH/s to spare, it would be a good idea to mine it and not exchange it. Keep us updated about coin submission. I'll help about DOT voting.
