1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 3BTC for multiple payment options on: August 05, 2013, 03:17:20 PM
Let me know how you would like to proceed.

If you are willing to use any of the payment methods I listed, let me know. I'm ready to proceed immediately.

If you insist on MoneyGram, then I'll get back to you later today (in the next 12 hours) after I've had a chance to look into where I could pick up the cash.

I am fine with Western union as an option. Although face to face would be kind of neat, you live close to NYC?

PM me rates and sending information. Please let me know what payment option is the least expensive fee. Ex. some people charge 10%+ for paypal but moneypak is only 5%.

Your choice, I can do MoneyGram or Western Union.  I have cash pickup locations for both nearby, so whichever works better for you.  As long as I receive $330 when I pick up the cash, I don't care which you use.

Unfortunately I'm in the Chicago area, so unless you have friends or family in the area that can meet me to give me the cash, face-to-face probably isn't going to work.

I'll PM you the sending information

I actually do have family there, but that defeats the purpose of me having the experience. Not like it would be any special occasion, but it would be neat.
2  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Brass Knuckles DIY Belt Buckles - No Peg, No Hole on: August 05, 2013, 03:15:37 PM
Interested. If we can use escrow I will pay today and hopefully be wearing my buckle in style by friday night  Grin

Let me know if that works for you.

Alright, I found a local place to pick up the cash.

If I receive $330 from MoneyGram, I'll send you 3 BTC.

Will you send first, or will you be contacting John K. for escrow?

You have reputation sufficient for this trade. I agree with that rate.

Please PM me sending information. I will PM you when I am leaving, still need to get around. Thanks!

I've never used MoneyGram.  If I can get cash in hand from MoneyGram without it going through my bank account, paypal, or debit card, then I'd be willing to sell 3 BTC.  I'll look into MoneyGram today and see what I can learn about it.

Other payment options I'd be willing to accept:

  • Face-to-face cash exchange
  • Cash in mail
  • U.S. postal money order
  • Western Union

Moneygram is essentially the same thing as Western Union, except I think the fees are a little higher. Let me know how you would like to proceed.

Can we get some picture? Will you put a warranty like 1 month or money back on them?

8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Found sale on usb block eruptors 39euros per on: August 05, 2013, 02:39:57 PM
Can anyone tell me how much at the current difficulty these eruptors are mining in bitcoins?

I think .6 is a fair price on BTC Guild but I would like to make sure it won't be 5 years before seeing anything come of it.

Also this would be strictly hobby use. Not looking to get rich.

Why are people being ripped off when you have offers including escrow here?
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many bitcoins do you have? on: August 05, 2013, 01:29:24 PM
Can a bitcoin own bitcoins...?   Shocked

How fucking dumb can this forum go? I have been complaining about idiots and retarded on this forum for the past few weeks, it seems every day new idiots register to bring down the IQ of this forum. However, this post has just crossed the line for me.

I think the problem is that the posters here are so dumb, that they do not realize how dumb they are. Think about it, how can someone not intelligent, know if they are intelligent or not?

Have been thinking the same since I joined the forum. I see the problem is the majority of users are all under the age 15. This shows the parental controls have been removed or non-existent in the first place. From what I've read a lot of the higher rep people around are super young for the positions they have been placed in. Not surprising.

Hey forum,

I am looking for 3bitcoins total for moneygram, moneypal, or paypal. I might be able to do another option but for now those are the readily available options. Shoot me a PM and I will contact John K for escrow once we agree on a rate. If you have any questions or concerns you can post here or send me a message.

20  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about money? on: August 02, 2013, 02:57:51 AM
Money is nothing but a store of energy.  Instead of working now for that slice of pizza, I can work now for money, and then trade it with whomever, whenever, for whatever I want.  This is precisely why I don't like fiat; there's nowhere to go but down, and in a set amount of years, the work I did in the past will have been for nothing; stolen energy, a waste of time, and I value my time pretty fucking well, since it's limited in supply and I have no idea how much of it I will ever have.

Very well put.
