1  Economy / Economics / Re: Stanford University Business Full-Time Cryptocurrency Course on: April 26, 2018, 02:46:03 AM
If this is real then this is really good. There will be more people who'll study and focus on cryptocurrency more with undivided attention. Hoping this will help the community to strengthen the crypto world.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Earnings without risks for beginners on: April 26, 2018, 01:11:08 AM
That's what I do: joining bounties and airdrop since I am still a beginner at the crypto-world. It's a much less hassle for noobs to gain but you just gotta know what bounties or airdrops to join for you not to get scammed.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Generation Screwed on: April 25, 2018, 07:41:08 AM
For me it's a mixture of fault in the past generation and the now. Our society's problem today developed because of the past problems, continuing with today's problems. The lack of natural resources causes things to be pricier than before. And why do we lack the resources? Because of the changes in the environment: climate change, erosion and even global warming. These changes are the effects of neglecting nature and taking it for granted. But I do believe that there is still hope for us and the future generations. Hope is not lost.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: If the world uses a single currency on: April 25, 2018, 05:21:55 AM
It will be good to have one currency around the world because if you travel, there will only be one currency. The downside of this is there are other countries whose economical growth isn't stable and low.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: [ASK] How are you going to handle too much debt? on: April 25, 2018, 03:12:34 AM
In the first place why would you have a lot of debt knowing your income is less? You just have to discipline yourself and budget your income wisely. In the first place that's what you gotta do. Pay your debt even little by little. At least your debt will be less.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital? on: April 25, 2018, 02:14:36 AM
For me, it's obviously having a larger capital than the big idea. Some business that have bright ideas ended up failing because of their lesser capital. It's always good to have bigger capital to supply the needs of your business. You just have to be wise on using it.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When you are old, what stories will you tell children when they ask for stories? on: April 25, 2018, 01:04:01 AM
I would like my child/children to know that life isn't easy. For starters, I would like them to know my story of growing up and growing onto the world where happiness and sorrow comes hand in hand to mold themselves. I want them to be ready for the future encounters they'll have and let them enjoy every moment. Also stories that are passed on from generation to generation.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now on: April 23, 2018, 06:52:07 AM
No one knows who Satoshi is or what is his real identity. Satoshi doesn't have to reveal his identity though and if he did, it will be risky for him and his life.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: April 23, 2018, 05:31:28 AM
We'll never know but the possibilities are still there. Let's just hope that the government won't ban BTC in the Philippines for some rely their income from bitcoin.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as savings, emergency needs possible? on: April 23, 2018, 01:41:03 AM
Using Bitcoin as your emergency funds is really risky. If you need a large amount of money and as soon as possible, there is a possibility that if you sell or trade your BTC, you won't get your desired amount because of the low trading equivalent. But using BTC as savings is not necessarily wrong, you only have to be careful.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 23, 2018, 01:03:31 AM
In a way, it'll make life easier when you don't have to carry coins or physical money wherever you go. It will be convenient to walk around without the thought of being robbed. But not all can have this hassle free life because of poverty.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think the Elders would also listen to Youth? on: April 19, 2018, 05:31:48 AM
There are some elders that listen to the youth but there are also some who values their old tradition. The youth should also listen to the elders because they've have already been in their shoes. They know the ropes and all the things this world can do. But as a youth, we also should pick out the knowledge that we can use because not all of the things elders know is are helpful.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: April 19, 2018, 03:21:55 AM
For me being smart and strategic comes hand in hand. You can't be strategize effectively without being smart and vice versa. Planning is in between these two and I think it'll be more effective to try both hand in hand.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is happiness so ephemeral? on: April 19, 2018, 12:47:20 AM
It depends on your source of happiness. Most of the physical source of happiness is fleeting and changing. You may be happy with your phone right now but in the long run, you'll get tired of it and change it. But there are also happiness that are long-lasting. They cannot be touched but can be felt. Love is an example of it, and love has different forms too. And those little things that make you happy, that's one of them.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you feel about meditation? on: April 18, 2018, 08:40:58 AM
There are different kinds of meditation. There is a physical type of meditation where you relax your mind and body and just focus on your senses while doing breathing exercises. I've had the opportunity to do that and it was very relaxing and all my tension went away. But there is also a spiritual type of meditation. I believe there are many religions that do spiritual meditation with their god.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: April 18, 2018, 06:31:00 AM
There are a lot of saving tips and tricks in the internet nowadays. You just have to pick what's best for you. First list down all your necessities, what you buy with your money on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. From their you'll see how much you spend and even come up with how you'll save the extra money that you have.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why God exists in all people mind? on: April 18, 2018, 06:01:56 AM
The existence of God has been passed down to generations after generations, No matter what religion it is or who their god is, it continues to be passed down. For me there's only one God and I believe in Him even though God is like an air, cannot be seen but can be felt.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In what world do you want to live? on: April 18, 2018, 01:58:19 AM
I would really love to live in a world where all countries are united as one. No more wars on every corner of the earth. We are brothers and sisters after all. Of course it is inevitable to have one person leading every country but it is good that there are no cold wars with each other. Where peace reigns and helping each other is present than hate. That's the kind of world I would want to live in.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you care if Billions of people need help? on: April 17, 2018, 09:29:52 AM
I'm not surprised if there are a lot of people who use BTC to donate to charities and those people that are in need of help. I would donate if I have the means but by simply helping those who are hungry and suffering, even if it doesn't involve any money, just by sheer effort to get them the help they need, it'll be helpful for them.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: April 17, 2018, 01:28:12 AM
Most of the atheists that I know lose their faith because of something that happened in their life. Whether it be a problem that tore their family apart or even something awful that they gave up on relying to the God above because they feel like they've been abandoned and the one that can truly save them is their selves.
