Gambling is legal in a lot of countries, and in USA it's legal in a few states already like Las Vegas and New Jersey with others following suit.
The thing is, the govt issues big licensing fees to those that are licensed, whereas that is not likely happening with the bitcoin operated gambling sites so of course the govt opposes bitcoin gambling they are not getting a slice of the pie.

Yeah that season finale for Dexter was shit, I was actually watching it and thought you'd win your bet when he started to head his boat in towards the storm... then he became a lumberjack..?

A lot of this season was nonsense. Nobody notices a guy taking a body out of a hospital in broad daylight and walking onto their boat?? I know there was a lot going on but wouldn't somebody notice

If you have an unlimited bankroll with no betting limits theoretically you can dig yourself out of a hole if you go on a ridiculous losing streak on the martingale system.

In reality though, using the martingale system on any type of gambling carries risk because not everyone has an unlimited bankroll, and many betting sites or casinos will eventually limit your stakes.

Interesting bets - if you ask me I'd lean towards both main characters getting killed off or going to jail in the final episode.

Dexter has a few people that could take him out between now and the finale - the blonde chick that likes poisoning people, the young guy that he's trying to mentor, or any one of the other characters in the series could discover who he is and catch/kill him too.

Walter White is also at risk of dying off, even if he doesn't get killed by something related to his occupation, don't forget he's still got the cancer so I think you chose wisely on that bet he could very easily get finished off by the end of the series.

Pretty clear this Thailand story is bogus now.

But I wonder what effect it would have on prices if a country like USA decided to somehow impose a ban on Bitcoins?

Would it take a short dive and then bounce back, have a lasting impact, or make no noticeable difference to the value. Any thoughts?
