We have the solar array setup giving very cheap power. And we could supply a platinum or gold power supply to run it. At five cents a kwatt.  The gear would cost 7 cents an hour to run since it should use 1.4 kwatts

I keep seeing you reference your solar array and your very cheap power, but how have you allowed for the cost of the solar array itself? Was the solar array hardware donated? If you can sell power back to the grid at 5 cents, this is not the true picture since it doesn't account for the capital investment.

Sorry this is a bit off topic, been meaning to ask this question since you mention your solar array A LOT.

Whoops, wasn't asking for advice on the power settings. BTW if you select any of the "Basic" settings, it auto puts those super high wattage figures in. Anyways, I'm happy with my current power to hashrate figures so not going to muck with those.

My pictures were intended to point out that I had the extranonce setting on 2 and was still seeing cgminer4.7.0 in contrast to what the previous poster mentioned. Trying to get that issue resolved.
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Unofficial Spondoolies SP20 thread on: January 30, 2015, 07:43:00 PM
Is cgminer supposed to be upgraded automatically when the firmware is upgraded? I just performed the firmware upgrade on one of my SP20s and it still shows cgminer 4.7.0 on the dashboard page.
Try a Reboot from the miner's home page.  That's what did it (cgminer 4.8.0) for me.

I've upgraded all my SP20's to firmware 2.6.1 and have done reboots on all of them. The dashboard page still shows cgminer4.7.0 .

I'm running 2.6.9 on all mine and have the same issue, cgminer4.7.0
You will see 4.8 if you set the flag to 2, used to mine on nice/west hash with extranonce.subscribe enabled otherwise you will see 4.7 as you are.

What am I doing wrong here? Would love to get this resolved!

Multiple reboots have been performed. Thanks in advance!
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 30, 2015, 07:33:53 PM
Per their documentation @ https://www.westhash.com/?p=faq#faqs1

"You can limit your miners to work on WestHash only if the payment is good enough. You can still leave WestHash as your primary stratum server. WestHash stratum server will only be activated if the current average payment as displayed on WestHash.com front page matches your price threshold. Otherwise miners will work normally on your backup/secondary pool."

Of course I'm sure there is some variance.

I have my pools configured to run westhash/nicehash when they go over 0.0199 per the password field, but it doesn't appear that they're switching.  Westhash is currently at 0.025 right now, is there something else that's required to get that to work properly?  I configured the pools and restarted the miner, but it still shows cgminer 4.7.0, and I think it needs to be running 4.8.0 for this to work, right?

I'm running the latest test firmware from SP, 2.6.9

I think that I read on Westhash site that the password figure you pass is compared to the published SHA256 amount on their front page, which is currently around 0.0145. It doesn't compare to the highest current order.

Updated OP with SHIPPED status.  I wasn't able to make it to the PO on Saturday as planned, so everything arranged over the weekend went out Monday afternoon and is in transit!  Please feel free to drop a line here once you get your order and let us know what you think of the devices.

Cheers.

Can I get an update on my order? It does not show shipped in the main post and the last PM I received from you was on September 6th saying you would get back to me on first class shipping.
