1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / for those who still not inform ! on: September 17, 2018, 03:40:27 PM
Due to excessive garbage-posting, you now need 1 merit to be a Jr Member. All existing Jr Members who didn't meet the requirement were demoted. Also, newbies can no longer set any signature or personal text.

Note that this does not affect:
 - PM rate-limiting, which is based purely on activity & whitelisted status.
 - "You must wait ___ seconds...", which is based purely on activity & whitelisted status.

But it does affect:
 - Voting in polls
 - Patroller jurisdiction
 - The "ignore newbie PMs" option.
 - "The body is omitted from this email because the sender is a newbie."
 - BBCode limits
 - Reduced-accuracy link filtering
 - Board restrictions

Many of these limitations can be eliminated with a copper membership. In particular, you can set a signature at Member level if you wear a copper membership.

One reason that I was hesitant to do this before is that there are an awful lot of newbie restrictions, and I don't want the forum to be unwelcoming to good newbies. I'll think about tying some of those to activity instead of rank in the future.

With help from DdmrDdmr, I just added 36 new merit sources, which should help newbies achieve the requirement. But if you're incapable of posting anything worthwhile, then you will never rank up, and you shouldn't: this isn't the forum for you.  Smiley
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: September 12, 2018, 10:44:31 AM
Is it because you sell to early or you start late here? If it is because you sell early, i think its normal for most of people here. Everyone might sell too early when they first got their coins.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: September 12, 2018, 10:42:34 AM
I firmly believe in bounty campaign and crypto currency. Although market still struggling to stabilize market value. But it doesn't mean crypto is collapsing, so the technique here is keep joining new project and continue doing bounty campaign.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token goes down. Wait or sell? on: September 12, 2018, 10:41:29 AM
In the event that you offer it at this moment while their esteem is goind down, it will be counter gainful. You will lose increasingly in the event that you offer it at a lower esteem.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I invest only in ICOs or STOs on: September 12, 2018, 10:40:12 AM
Investing in either any of the crypto currency or any of the project which is related to that of the ICOs is a very good thing to do and that this will surely help you in having some very good earning at the end of the day.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: September 11, 2018, 03:49:18 PM
I think many people do not have patience. The crypto market is something of patience business. The more patience you hold the more gain you collect. The increasing trend is investors panic sell their altcoins when the market goes down.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know which coins are good? on: September 11, 2018, 03:47:35 PM
Yes i am totally agree without about the figures. There is no point holding thousands of dollars worth of an altcoin if no one is trading it and there is very low chance of exiting your current position in the market.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience in trading? on: September 11, 2018, 03:45:56 PM
Honestly, I don't have enough experience in trading because I am new here in bitcoin. But based on other user of bitcoin, trading is very risky especially for those who have enough knowledge about trading.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: September 07, 2018, 10:26:41 AM
You should not give up everything will be fine soon must be positive all the time. Cryptocurrency will recover again but as of now we should still keep our faith at our crypto investment.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: September 07, 2018, 05:18:50 AM
Lots of new investors are scared to start getting into crypto.  I think the best way to encourage new investors is to educate them, and provide others with good resources for their own research.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your experience in trading? on: September 07, 2018, 05:17:48 AM
My experience is a little weird and funny. At one point, I bought some Altcoin coins at a little price, and thought that its price would increase somewhat. But after a month, its price was reduced.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: September 07, 2018, 05:09:50 AM
I think now is the good time to buy but not the best because I think we didn't reach the whole panic on market. May be you have to wait after the weekend or buy it now before the weekend.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should now sell coin or not on: September 07, 2018, 05:08:35 AM
See the current coin prices all in red and it is better to wait until the coins are green or selling price values. Current coin prices going up and down very quickly so you must monitor the crypto market every day.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: September 04, 2018, 06:44:19 PM
In my opinion, the cryptocurrencies in all the world is almost  at early stage. However there are more and more people accessing bitcoin, but the world has 7 billions people, just a few number of people know about Bitcoin.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: September 04, 2018, 06:43:20 PM
The amount you put should be the amount you can afford to lose, the problem with some investors is they think of a high profit that they can achieve instantly which would already make them unrealistic.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: September 04, 2018, 06:42:40 PM
I think that your situation is common in the crypto world. I will hold on to the coins if I have confidence in them. The recent price dip is due to the fuds, the market will recover once the storm is clear.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: August 30, 2018, 06:37:00 PM
Well it is nice to find people with strong beliefs. This attitude is always good for business. Same for bitcoin since many are holding it post like this could just strengthen investors to keep on believing it and may not be freak out easily by nonsense FUDs.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: August 30, 2018, 06:35:25 PM
There are different situations. Of course, if a person is a bus driver, a worker at a factory  etc., then doing a crypt for a full day means for him to give up the main job. As a rule, he has little knowledge about the crypt and this is a big risk.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: August 30, 2018, 06:34:18 PM
Trading or investing in cryptocurrency is a psychological war against yourself. Bitcoin price is rapidly going down since the trend of market is volatile. We must expect that it will fluctuate.
