1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] 7.14 BTC either GDMP or Wire Transfer on: September 18, 2013, 09:20:11 PM
Wow are the fees really that harsh?

7.14*140=999.6

$100 in fees?

PS - walmart has 1k cards.
2  Economy / Services / Re: "High" risk investment - 1:3 dice bot service on: August 21, 2013, 09:51:57 PM
Would there be anyway to watch it?

How many times can you bet? For example, you can easily lose 30 times in a row ...

assuming your backroll is 1000btc and you start at .1btc per bet ..

Bet   1   0.1
Bet   2   0.2
Bet   3   0.4
Bet   4   0.8
Bet   5   1.6
Bet   6   3.2
Bet   7   6.4
Bet   8   12.8
Bet   9   25.6
Bet   10   51.2
Bet   11   102.4
Bet   12   204.8
Bet   13   409.6
Bet   14   409.7

Total Spent - 1228.8 btc

All you need to do is lose 14 times in row and you are broke. This has happens more times than I can count.

Unless there's something I'm missing .. stay away from this folks.
3  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Localbitcoins Selling Scam on: August 20, 2013, 08:16:24 PM
Same guy. Same number. Same usernames.

At first, I thought it might be legit because when you google the number it pops up with Craigslist and forum ads.

Extremely fishy .. glad I didn't even get to the point where he asked me to take a screenshot of the escrow.

Thanks for the update in the forum.

Other odd thing is that I spoke with him on the phone. Straight up lied to me. What a bag of scum.

EDIT: If anybody from localbitcoins is looking at this .. can we setup a 'honeypot' to stop this sort of thing.

Shipping
For now, I'm only shipping to the US. Anything above .5 btc is free shipping anything below will be an additional .1btc

Stock
For those of you that have to ask .. No I do not have all of these in stock. I get them from a local store for cheap. So if you put in your order. I'll simply walk across to the local store. Package them up. And ship them off.

Bulk Discounts
As of now, I doubt I can give any sort of a discount. There's a small margin for profit now as it is :\

100% down for escrow. You name the person and as long as they are reputable in the thread. I'll buy and ship right away. I would appreciate if you released the funds when I give the tracking number though. If not, we can work something out.

I'm sure we'll get alot of questions here. So feel free to PM or post in the thread. Thanks.

7  Economy / Services / Re: *Looking To Hire* Marketing/Affiliate Manager on: August 08, 2013, 10:26:59 PM
This response screams desperation more than anything and immaturity honestly. I doubt you have much real experience in the field.

Why? Because I decided to have a little fun with my comment ..

I'm more than willing to discuss my skills and experience to the correct person. My current FT job is handling the digital presence (PPC/SEM/SEO/Social Media/Reputation Management) of the company I work for. I'm just looking for some side income and always wanted to work with a different industry. I have knowledge of gambling/casinos so I decided to apply. My current roles are simple:
- Get Traffic
- Convert Traffic
- Try and Increase Both

Oh, and keep a solid rep. across the board

Obviously it's easier said than done, but the numbers have been pretty solid. The non-display ads run anywhere from a 2.5-25% CTR and 3-7% conversion rate based off of  PPC campaigns. Organic, e-mail, and social media campaigns are obviously different. Willing to discuss the rates on them as well if needed.

Problem is that with most of the market being flooded with "Black Hat SEO" the perception of most people is that online marketers are just full of shit, but the fact is that there is a REAL way to do things. I think the beliefs of people that don't do this for a living are easily polarized with the bad because they've searched -- and searched -- and searched. And can't find anybody outside of the guy that's willing to post 5000 backlinks for $98. Believe is or not there is a world outside of spamming forums, sending backlinks, and investing in $100 adword vouchers. If you follow the right path you will get results in 3-4 months and you will continuously grow.

Please don't judge me by one silly comment that I decided to make.

Applying for the crap out of this position. Use me you'll get customers. Sending my "resume" your way ..
9  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 400BTC CASH IN PERSON ONLY | Can buy ticket for you - San Fran Bay on: July 19, 2013, 07:05:09 PM
Why hate on this guy? He's pretty much giving you the opportunity to make money. You just need the drive, dedication, and balls to make an in person trade. If you don't feel comfortable .. then just don't do it. Period.

I'm sure the trade could be made at the airport where there's plenty of security.
10  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB BTC with $995 MoneyPak on: July 19, 2013, 11:57:49 AM
Do you have the receipt? Can  you scan it and send it with the purchase?

Thanks.
11  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 3-6 BTC on: July 13, 2013, 12:42:03 AM
I can do this for last gox + 5%. PM me if interested. Just make sure you have the receipt from the GDMP. If you want to use an escrow just find somebody reputable and I'm more than willing to do that.
12  Economy / Currency exchange / Selling Bitcoins @ Last Gox + 5%. Online or Local Philly Area. on: July 12, 2013, 05:07:47 PM
Hey all FooFan here looking to sell some bitcoins. Online or locally. Please read this whole post before sending me a message. This post in theory will answer everything you need to know - cost, payments, deposits, locations, etc.

First off, I understand I'm new and I only have two posts .. I get it .. I'm new it doesn't mean that I'm doing anything shady. Before posting in the thread. Feel free to hit me up I'll verify any and all information to make you feel comfortable and let you know I'm legit.

Before I go on, I should probably mention that I am very wary of scammers. I will not send the bitcoins until cash is in hand or in the bank Smiley

Are you buying or selling?
Right now. I'm just selling, but plan to get into the buying game soon.

Will you do escrow?
Sure. As long as it's a reputable person on this forum.

What's the minimum I can buy?
I'll just say $500 worth for now, but might be flexible on this ..

What the maximum I can buy?
Once again, can change daily, but I'll say $5000

How much are you selling the bitcoins for?
Last Gox + 5% (online)
OR
Last Gox + 10% (local philly)

Is Philadelphia the only area you will sell locally to?
Will probably go anywhere west of Philly out to Lancaster. Maybe down to Baltimore. And possibly up to New York.

Where do you meet at on local transactions?
Public areas with lots of cameras. Plain and simple. lol.

What the heck does 'last gox mean'?
If you go to mtgox.com and look at the 'last price' just take that number and multiple it by 1.05 - Bam . there's your price per coin!

What payment methods do you accept?
Bank Transfer - Preferred obv
Western Union - Not shipping until I have cash in hand
Money gram - Not shipping until I have cash in hand
Cash in the mail - I'll setup a box and you can send this way. You are liable for any money that is lost or stolen. Obviously not recommended.
Greendot Moneypak (GDMP) - If you do this you MUST send a high resolution reciept. Be willing to wait 24 hours. You pay the fees.
Serve - Eh, maybe, but you must be UBER, UBER, UBER reputible
PayPal - No Nope Nooo NO!

For local philly transactions cash only, obv. Must have cash in hand before shipping.

How many fees are involved in this and who covers it?
Bank transfer, GDMP, WU, and MG all have fees. You cover all fees.

How do I contact you?
Either post in thread or PM me. I can give you my cell phone to text to make it easy if you prefer.

Later maybe I'll get skype or some other sort of way for instant contact.
13  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB ~$7500 OF BTC IN CASH - NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK on: July 12, 2013, 01:13:43 PM
If this doesn't work let me know. I can escrow prior and as long as we can meet up in a public spot I'm fine with doing this ..

Thanks.
14  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Bitcointalk forums accounts for sale. on: July 11, 2013, 11:55:19 PM
I just may be interested in this --

There's a post that I want to reply to in the marketplace, but I can't because I'm new. So for people like me this would be beneficial.

Now, if I don't like the name. It might be another story.

I have no idea how much I would even offer for something like this .. So shoot me an offer.
