I love hearing about these times where someone predicts the end of the world on so and so date. Happens like least once every few years. In other words, no this is bullshit see you in February

For certain things its nice to be able to find just what you need any get it to your door in a few days vs having to go to 1 or more stores.

I see a lot of people mention electric power as a replacement and im not sure why. Yes you dont burn anything directly but you have to think where your grid gets its juice. Also there is a significant use of lead in batteries or other rare earths that require large stripmines.

The company who can set up a valid and usable hydrogen car and infrastructure will own the world. I would think that with advanced forms of nuclear power to both generate hydrogen and oxygen that we will be able to step past scarcity on this planet.

The value like always has been in peoples trust. And with major coverage brings in people who would not otherwise invest or just may not understand what bitcoin is about. I think there will be a continuing correction on bitcoin unless things like exchange costs get to a sane amount.

I dont have kids yet but if they are really hooked on video games, I think I would have to encourage them to turn it into a source of income for them from the popularity of streaming. I hope I can get them to feel some accomplishment from earning their own games and things. Yes of course physical activity is not to be ignored and I would make them finish their other obligations first.

Someone called it earlier in the topic, Medicine and antibiotics especially have made a drastic increase in the quality of life on humanity.

I find it tiring looking to a government to provide a solution for some problem like hunger, they never get it right. The things that work are from the cooperation of people who are able to bring a dynamic change to their own communities.

People are becoming aware of the threat of ICO scams, big ones too. Although it might not be for the best I would think it would be hard to stop ICO's in general. 2018 is Going to be a big year for crypto.

I can't see how such a large and information dense community like this would become irrelevant. The spread of ideas and information is the engine of modern society.

Lets assume im a normie, wow crypto im so smart to invest in the bitcoins my co-worker tipped me off about. Oh crap $17000 for 1 BTC thats too expensive. Hmm $250 litecoin, yeah that's affordable. It's the same basicly, amirite?
