1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: July 12, 2013, 08:23:09 PM
Can I be whitelisted please? I have been around Bitcoin for a long time and lurked here, but haven't wanted to participate in the community until now. I try to promote Bitcoin to my friends and family until their eyes roll into the back of their heads or until they understand, which happens more often now. When my cousin's graduated from high school I gave them paper wallets and plan on doing that from now on for all my gifts.

Thank you.

Hello! I've also been around Bitcoin for a while but just haven't posted many places. I usually lurk, but I want to participate in the community now.

I think the Coinbase news really helped it out as Gox seems to be withering now and CampBX is not the most responsive.

You'll probably want PPLNS then, as it tends to pay out more in the long run and is better for dedicated mining.

I don't think it's going to be for a couple months at least, but who knows? I'm just basing it off my gut and past experience. I'd rather it gradually climbed and stayed relatively steady than a leap anyways.

You will definitely want to join a pool if you have a lot of hashpower. How much do you/are you going to have? Mining solo isn't going to get you very far anymore finding a block and pools pay consistently. BTCGuild is good, but I've been on BitMinter lately because they have lower fees, which is something else you want to look at.
