1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptsy down? on: July 25, 2013, 04:38:22 AM
We are currently implementing our solution to the issue. Lets cross our fingers no time frame to give at this time.

Love Cryptsy, hope you get it sorted out quickly Smiley. I had 4 BTC in my account so I am definitely crossing my fingers Wink.

Good luck!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fastest way of buying Litecoins? on: July 25, 2013, 04:36:25 AM
The fastest way could also be trading with a member on the forums.
Keep in mind that if the member does not have lots of rep (or even if they do), use escrow to make sure you are not scammed.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I mine? on: July 25, 2013, 04:34:13 AM
just put it on multipool or middlecoin Smiley

Seconded (middlecoin). Just to give a point of reference, I make roughly 0.15 BTC per day with 2.5 mhash, so it is quite profitable (relatively speaking) to mine there Smiley.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giving you a 0.1 btc loan. on: July 25, 2013, 04:31:53 AM
I want to lend you 0.1 btc , you must pay back 0.2 in 2 weeks.

You might get more takers if you wait until you are a jr.member and then post in the lending subsection of the forums.

Just a thought Smiley
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New user on: July 25, 2013, 04:27:43 AM
I would highly recommend GPU alt currency mining. My rig costs 2k and gets 0.15 BTC per day (ish), so it seems pretty good. Also, unlike ASICS, GPUs and mobos and such actually have resale value because they are multipurpose. Check out coinminingrigs.com for more info.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New User - Hello everyone! on: July 25, 2013, 04:25:06 AM
Greetings,

I decided to make this account official and make a post in here so that I can post elsewhere.
I keep getting sent here when I google questions that I have, so the information here is useful. =)

I hope everyone has a great day!

dexterw1n

Greetings to you as well. I advise checking out the technical support section of the forum for the answers to your questions Smiley, as well as the mining section if you mine as well.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Death of the Fiat Currencies, Rise of the Crypto Currencies on: July 25, 2013, 04:21:35 AM
I watch the markets closely and it’s my guess that within the next 12 months some very interesting things are going to happen to Fiat ( paper ) Currency , I say interesting not to be a doom and gloom advocate but I see bubbles everywhere: Bonds, Stocks and Derivative markets. So if everything implodes within the next 12 months where is one to go to protect their purchasing power? Gold, Silver and Crypto’s of course.

I see people piling into all three asset classes above or at least those who act early enough, unfortunately many who are asleep at the wheel will re-act and it will be too late for them, as they said in South Park “Poof and It’s Gone!!” either the purchasing power of your cash will be devalued or we will see more Bail-ins as we did in Cyprus where “they” just take a % of your savings “Ouch”

Some would say Crypto’s only dilute people’s investments into Gold & Silver Bullion which has been the only “Money” there ever has been for over 5000 years, to a point I agree but if people have faith in it, it will work. Fiat Currency has thought us this over the last 40 years. So to finish with a question? I see the top 5 Crypto’s doing really well over the next year but what about the others as they seem to be springing up everyday? And who are seen as the Top 5 after Bitcoin?

Fiat is probably not going anywhere, period. However, perhaps cryptos can be a second form of payment. In any case be sure to never invest more than you can afford to lose (in case cryptos go to 0).

sucks real bad peeps!!!!!

Alternatively, you could just think longer and harder about your posts. Then it should take you roughly 6 minutes to generate a good, high quality post at which point you will be free to make it.

10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how do i earn bitcoin on: July 25, 2013, 04:15:45 AM
i saw some PTC ad here,, is it reliable? what other ways to earn bitcoin im sooooo noob here,, thank you in advance!

Buy ASICs and mine them, buy gpus and mine alts and trade for BTC. Also, you can sell services/goods for BTC.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 6 min post limitation on: July 25, 2013, 04:14:26 AM
I guess the solution is to make slower, constructive posts until you rank is high enough and then the limit will be removed and it is presumed you have more knowledge by then. Then I suppose you can make faster posts.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Much Bitcoins are Entry-level Miners Earning? on: July 25, 2013, 04:11:43 AM
Can someone share some general information on how much bitcoins miners are earning relative to hardware.

Say for example, if someone has an entry-level mining rig with only one RADEON 7950 GPU and leaves the computer on all day, how much bitcoins are they currently earning?

If there is a chart posted somewhere, please share the link or point me in the right direction.  Thanks.

Well, my rig gets 2500 khash for scrypt with 4 7950s and it gets about 0.15 BTC per day mining alts. I'd say thats pretty good.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stuck in purgatory on: July 25, 2013, 04:10:12 AM
I'm stuck as well.

Browse the forums and read up on bitcoin in general. It is good for you and will better prepare you for when you can post on the forums for real Smiley
