3  Economy / Securities / Best Way to Do Shareholder Votes? on: September 10, 2014, 10:11:30 PM
What is the best way to do votes among owners of crypto securities.  For instance, using counterparty what would be the best way to do a vote among people who own shares, accounting for how many shares they own as well?
4  Economy / Gambling / Re: DiceBitco.in | BE THE BANK ! | 1% House Edge | 7500+ BTC BANKROLL | INSTANT! on: September 08, 2014, 09:28:55 AM
Not trying to spread fud but on open investment dice sites, big whales winning is always sus.  The site owner can be the whale, checking the seeds and predicting the rolls with no repercussions.  And you think you can trust someone because they have a lot of posts on a forum?  You don't actually trust them, you are just greedy and hoping they don't scam you.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: Repayment idea for affected users with positive profit on: September 08, 2014, 09:21:33 AM
Im still gonna gamble here and I love it here, but to the trust of the people there should be a plugin verfier so that it snyc with it and that you can roll and it will verify at the same time, like a third party software so OP can build his trust back

I was going to use some harsh words with you but instead I want to give some unsolicited advice.

I would not play on a site that has scammed users, regardless of what their excuse is.  This reminds me of the MtGox fiasco because of how predictable it was to anyone who was paying attention.

If one day all the user's find their balances wiped out or an unprovably fair loss streak, there will be zero sympathy to anyone who knew the site had a terrible rep and still chose to play on it.

I think Stunna had to keep the information under wraps.  When sites get breached they need to fix up the problem before they tell people about it.  I'm just happy to see my coins weren't lost.

9  Economy / Services / Paying .15BTC for Simple Web Code on: November 09, 2013, 09:03:34 AM
I need some code for a website, nothing more complicated than www.preev.com, just with various unit conversions that change when you put numbers in.

Please post here or pm if you have interest in doing this.  Willing to pay .2BTC total if you can make it look nice too!
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion: Duplicate private keys - Who has Bitcoin ownership? on: August 28, 2013, 05:24:44 PM
If you can prove someone stole the private key from you, best of luck, but for practical reasons whoever has access to the private key has control and ownership of it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Realistically, how safe is a dedicated HD or SSD as cold storage? on: August 11, 2013, 06:46:49 AM
Probably safe enough if you encrypt it with a STRONG password and back it up (multiple copies!)

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mBTC - what the worst could happen..?!?! on: July 29, 2013, 07:39:53 AM
The change to mBTC will be slow and gradual, with programs and services starting to display things in mBTC, and then offering an mBTC option, and then finally defaulting things to mBTC (in my opinion).

I am very on the fence about the Bitcoin Foundation.  That being said I can't wait to see them do good things for the bitcoin community.
