so a while back i ordered:
5x https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B076XX769R/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
at a pre-order price of 98euro + delivery

What would you recommend to mine on these? I was thinking of mining Ethash but it seems most people are saying cryptonight is better...
I generally run that on overpowered CPU rig's just to weigh off some of the costly load those rigs have at idle.

I can see mos tpeople suggesting aroudn lets say 550hs for Cryptonight vs lets say 15mh/s ethash... Now to me right now that makes ethash more profitable on most coins... and I would expect if i mined eth for the value to increase over the year more than say "monero" in terms of %'ages...

So why are people mining cryptonight on these?

Did people still mine on CPU at the moment?

I mine abour 1-2USD a day.  Enough to pay the electric bill for my gpu mining

What are you mining on your CPU to make that?! And what cpu lol...?

Hi all, first post so be kind... I have been using Claymore for a little while with great success. I don't consider i have learnt enough yet to be guiding people so have not been posting!

However, I have run into a problem that i can't appear to fix.
My current setup is running 2x RX580 (red dragon - hynix) and using the command line options either both in the .bat file or config.txt i can change my GPU0 voltage, clock speed etc. But, my second card does not respond to this.

I am on windows 10 pro 64bit
Radeon Software Version: 17.11.1

Both cards have been bios flashed with the same bios, both cards are identical even down to the batch number Wink

Currently hashing on 1st card at 29.4, second card at 28.4, second card is using much more power and not applying my designated overclock / fan / underclock & undervolts.

I have tried Crossfire enabled & Disabled.
Driver is set to "Compute" mode.

I can't use the BETA driver because this system is used for rendering video as well as an offload for my workstation, this driver is terrible for it and causes errors.

Currently my config.txt looks like:

Code:
-epsw x
-mode 1
-ftime 10
-esm 0
-etha 0
-asm 1
-estale 0
-mode 0
-retrydelay 2
-tt 70,77
-tstop 77,77
-fanmax 90,90
-fanmin 30,30
-cclock 1100,1100
-mclock 2100,2100
-cvddc 840,840
-mvddc 840,840
-platform 1

Derp... create a profile for the .exe in the Radeon driver - answered my own question, removed my extra values here. Configured each card as required.
