1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Building my 2nd rig and after 24 hours mining won't appear in the pool on: January 27, 2018, 09:45:51 PM
Hi Folks,

I have one rig with 6 gpu gtx 1070 running perfect at nanopool... The 2nd one is 2 1060 6gb mining around 46mh/s for the past 24 hours and still won't show at nanopool dashboard. What this mean? Still showing at the claymore software it is getting shares and everything is working just fine. I tried to erase the claymore and get another one and still the same problem. Any help? Both rigs are connected to the same router by cable. Two different network ports.

I'm going crazy here...

Thanks

extenders are dog crap.  If you want to go past 6 just buy another board and fix your headache.

I know! I believe you are right. The only thing I wish this thing works... Because right now they are selling the mobo's for almost $400! This money I could get another video card Sad

Thanks

Everything on good powered risers?

Yes. All my cards use risers without any problem. The only thing is when I plug the adapter... For couple minutes I thought  the whole system was fried... hehehe! (Not funny at the moment)!!!

Hey folks,

I have one rig with Asrock BTC 6 pcie. I have two more gpu's to add to my rig. But when I plug the extender and add the two cards in there. Kills the whole system it's like if I fried the board or something, so I have to unplug all the risers(gpu's) from the mobo remove the little battery from the mobo to reset it and turn back on. WTF is this? My mobo does not accept this device? I have two PSU on my RIG, the second one is a 750w EVGA with 2 GPU only so adding the 3rd one can no be the problem. All my cards are GTX 1070, but the one I'm trying to add right now is a GTX 1060 6GB.

Here is the link of the device I'm using: https://www.amazon.com/Extender-Bitcoin-Litecoin-Ubit-Adapter-Ethereum/dp/B073W9KCFC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1516797136&sr=8-4&keywords=PCIE+EXTENDER

Any help?

Thanks
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / DUAL MINING ETH AND PASCAL hashrate issue on: January 20, 2018, 03:38:42 AM
Hey folks,

I'm mining using claymore 10.4 smOS... My rig runs for couple days without crash or any error message (6x gtx 1070 2 psu 650 evga and 850 evga), the only problem I have is the hashrate issue, it's never stable. I get 193mh/s and goes between 168mh/s and up to 193mh/s. The same for pascal 1680h/s to 1950h/s. Looking at the nanopool I get around 189mh/s for 6h and on smOS monitor 193mh/s. I can not make it stable...

-epool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal mywallet.MinerOne/email -epsw x -dpool pasc-us-east1.nanopool.org:15555 -dwal mywallet.MinerOne/email -dcoin pasc

Any help???

Thank you so much!

Yes! You are so right! Make no sense to me about the difference ehehe! But I changed to 100, 1600, 180. Now I'm doing 195mh/s ETH and 1956H/S pascal! Thanks! Cheesy
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Linux low hashrate vs Windows 10 on: January 12, 2018, 12:20:17 AM
Ok,

Linux 100, 1100, 200 for power limit watt.

Using windows I was getting 100, 830, 95% power limit (less OC with my hashrate power).

That's sucks big time!!!

Hey folks,

I just switched to Simpleming OS... I loved the concept and the easy way to monitor and control multiple rigs, BUT yes BUT I noticed a HUGE loss of hashrate from my rig. 6x GTX 1070 hashing eth at 192mh/s total -32mh/s ea dual mining pascal on windows 10 now the same settings on linux I only get 180mh/s total - ea 29.6 mhs. Why??? Sad Please anyone can help me out?

Thanks
9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Making little farm at home noise issue on: December 30, 2017, 04:46:16 PM
Yea heres a tip, dont buy them.  They are not HOME miners. They are designed for industrial areas. If you have a waterproof garage and live in a temperate climate then you best bet is plug them in out there. Also make sure whatever electrical circuit you have them running on is able to cope with the 6Kw+ of juice they will be pulling.

Also there is nothing you can buy that will do a decent job of making them quiet. You cannot really chane the fans, you would have to build a soundproof cabinet within a room and have more fans and ducting to provide cool air and exhaust the hot. You will need to work out CFM of the existing miners then work out soze and speed of fans to supply enough airflow.

I have a car garage, but no A/C on it. Also I'm from Florida and here is very hot. Any tip how to make my garage a good fit for it?

Thanks

Hey folks,

I'm getting soon 5x S9 for my house, there problem is the noise... I saw on youtube people putting the S9 inside of a plastic cooler and reduced the noise really well. Any other option? I saw online also "silencer" addons but in the review shows it does not work so good like the plastic cooler. I really appreciate any tip.

Thanks guys!!!

Thank you for the reply. So I have to open pascal wallet to be able to cash out? Any other way to withdraw for my regular bank account? Thanks

Hello Folks,

I have dual mining ETH+PASCAL and ETC+PASCAL for a while. For Pascal I use poloniex, this looks stupid but how can I cash out any of my pascal from Poloniex? They ask 3 questions, address, payload and amount. I'm confuse about address and Payload? I tried to create one ticket for it but so far no answer... Any help?

Thanks
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MINING RIG 6X GTX 1070 VOLTAGE ISSUES on: December 06, 2017, 02:17:13 AM
it is because your gpu1 is working for your display rendering too while mining
plug your hdmi cable or monitor cable in mob and use igfx for display
it will sort your voltage issue and moreover increase the stability of your miner

How I setup igfx on windows 10? I tried to download but doesn’t let me install because is not compatible. Sad

Thanks

But mine is not showing  curve, if you see the video at 1:07 you will be able to see my settings.

I did this sunday, i turned on the bios primary video onboard video card and plugged a vga cable from the monitor to the mother board instead using the GPU video port. But i still have the same issue. IGFX automatic goes on when i use the onboard video card or i have to install it?

Thanks

Ok,

My setup 6x 1070 GTX, asrock mobo, dual core intel proc. , 4gb memory ram, 2x psu evga 850w and 650w evga, 6x risers, ssd 64gb.

Video of the issue, voltage go up and down, video link:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/kzoqnvupuhmdxwf/Video%20Oct%2020%2C%208%2040%2021%20PM.mov

I tried replace the risers, power cables, turn off 2 GPU's so 4 can be connected just to ONE PSU(i have 2), and nothing seem to fix the issue.

Please anyone?

Thanks
