No minimum. All holders will receive 10% of whatever their BNT balance is at the time of the snapshot. So if you hold 100 BNT during the snapshot, you will be airdropped 10 ETHBNT. |

What is the value proposition for holding the bancor token? I use the platform all the time and love it but since you can swap any token for any token what is the use case for bnt?
BNT is the hub token of the Bancor Network that enables automated conversion between tokens. Proposition is that as more tokens integrate the Bancor Protocol, the network effect increases the need for BNT to convert various forms of value. |

I am waiting for the moment when vise-versa trading facility will be available. That day Bancor will progress by leaps and bounds when selling Ethereum with credit card functionality will be available. I am talking about fiat gateway integration which should be around the corner though I also have lost the tracking completely.

Well, the fiat-to-crypto integration is provided by a third party (Simplex), so there is no way of knowing at the current moment if there will be an option for crypto-to-fiat. There are so many ways to convert cryptocurrencies into fiat and it is easy to discover who are providing these services but the question is that when it will be implemented on this platform. I'm quite this integration on this network will be turning point for this and we will see majority of the people start using this platform. There are close to zero 3rd party solutions for ETH to Fiat off ramps. Can you be specific regarding which services you are referring to? We are actively exploring this option and aim to integrate it when possible. |

I think the team has said that they will not patch the security flaw that led to the hack and therefore the control of the 'smart contracts' remain centralized. There is no security flaw to patch. BNT's anti-theft override feature will remain in place, but was not the cause of the theft. The investigation is still ongoing. Yes, there was a security flaw that the team has refused to patch. This was pointed out to the team even before the ICO. Having a single address control funds in a smart contract means it is a security flaw. If you wish to learn why, look up Nick Szabo's trusted third parties are security loopholes. If you disagree, show me one reputable security engineer that would attest to the fact that a single point of failure for funds in the smart contract is a good idea from a security point of view. Irrespective of the exact mode of failure that led to the hack (whether inside job or not), the fact that there is a single address in control of a smart contract is a bad idea and a security flaw. Ethereum does not have a way to upgrade contracts and as a result each smart contract needs an owner with "admin" privileges. With that said, we looking forward to sharing details of the theft as soon as possible without risking the progress of our ongoing investigation. |

It seems that until the investigation report is not published after what the factors behind the exploitation are identified people will not let this topic go away. If Bancor was a simple token it wasn't getting such attention but being liquidity provider it has double responsibility. People want transparent investigated report for their own tranquility and satisfaction.
This topic is in fact very important to Bancor and for the entire industry. As soon as the investigation is officially complete we look forward to sharing the information for everyone's sake and tranquility. |

Huh..So now all tokens are free to list on Bancor network? I have worked with few projects that got listed on Bancor months ago and teams were need to pay listing fees to Bancor...
There are no listing fees. Token projects simply need to fund their own relay token depending on how much liquidity they want on the network. |

There was no insider trading. There were many savvy users who caught on to what was happening before the Bancor Web App went in to maintenance. All stolen BNT was recovered. |

Permit me to enquire about the bounty program currently running in the bancor platform, i need to know what is the status of the bounty, zeex bounty campaign in particular,
i understand this is managed by bancor so am asking why there isn't any response or update from the Admin in charge of Zeex? I head zeex bounty on bancor has been discontinued but i couldn't find such update in the bancor platform, any idea about this Admin? Thanks.

These people should be brought in front of justice and exchanges can do it very well by collaborating with one another. That is good part of hearing loss in BNT has been recovered by freezing the tokens. Bancor team has taken bold decision by putting the actual situation in front of people instead of hiding the incident and this is great thing.
