1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Firmware update. on: February 13, 2018, 01:04:08 AM
I saw my miner version displayed as sgminer/5.5.5-b when I mined zpool. I know there is a later version as my brother's Baikal Giant plus displays sgminer/5.5.6x. I have also seen lots of talk about baikal planning an update to add more algos but so far have not found anything solid.

How do I disable dev fee? Is it something like:   --fee 0

Thanks in advance.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Baikal Giant+ Firmware update on: December 18, 2017, 02:36:26 PM
Hello,

I have 3 Baikal A2000's and according to Zpool miner stats I have sgminer/5.5.5-b. My friend's stats show he has sgminer/5.5.6-b. I want to make sure I have latest firmware on my A2K.  I have downloaded the Baikal Giant + owners manual. Under the upgrade section they give a link to download the tools needed: dfu-util.exe, update_firmware_giant plus.bat, zdag_2.1.2.exe and Baikal_Giant Plus.bin all zipped in a file named Baikal_Giant_Plus_VOO_DATE.zip. When I follow the link it takes me to https://github.com/baikalminer/multi-algo-miner/tree/master/firmware/giant. There is nothing there. If I go up a level there is what looks like everything I need only when I unpack it I have some scanner tools and such but not what is listed to be able to do the job. I have located Win32DiskImager-0.9.5-binary.zip and PiZero_170605_V1.4.img from https://www.baikalminer.com/support04.php

Can anyone please help with where to get the latest tools and update to be able to update my Baikal Giant+ please?

Thanks in advance.

PS Does anyone anything about a planned firmware update that is supposed to add more algorithms? I've heard that.

zdag_2.1.2.exe and Baikal_Giant Plus.bin all zipped in a file named Baikal_Giant_Plus_VOO_DATE.zip. Hello,

I have 3 Baikal A2000 miners. Individually only one reports its' running at 2000MH/s while the other two always show running at around 1500-1600MH/s. I now have them strapped or harnessed as one. Today I downloaded and ran the "Baikal Monitor". The monitor sees my baikal and shows a status of "sick". How can I find more information about what is wrong? do I have a burnt chip or something? None of the interface logins show any problem.

I am trying to include a screenshot but this message board isn't very friendly about that.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
