 If you've been following recent updates in the digital assets space, former U.S. President Donald Trump's recent appearance and speech at the Bitcoin 2024 Conference has garnered mixed reactions in the cryptocurrency community. 🌏

Wow, what a month it's been! There's been the exciting start of the Olympics with enthusiastic supporters watching across the globe, while we're also seeing great progress in the crypto space. Finally, there's the launch of Spot Ethereum ETFs across 6 major funds, including Invesco and VanEck, with the total market trade volume already hitting a staggering $1 billion. 🥳📈
It's also been a busy month for us at OAX, having attended the Business Go-Virtual event in Hong Kong, diving in on the RWA and DeFi space as a part of our monthly writeups for the community. 🙂

DeFi in itself has definitely evolved from its early days - starting from a niche landscape in the digital assets ecosystem, growing into the powerhouse that it is today.
We're seeing innovative trends rise up to massively boost adoption of the technology - such as liquid staking protocols, native yield generation, restaking and tokenization of real-world assets (which we've recently covered too!). 📈

 We've recently released Part One of our two-part series on Real World Assets and today we're diving right into Part Two. ✅ In our second piece on the #RWA space, we'll be doing a deep dive on the mechanics of RWAs, different key players in the growing ecosystem and analysing the impact of this trend on the blockchain space. 🌏
We also see growing interest from institutions - for example, Blackrock has collaborated with Securitize to create the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund. 🪙 In Hong Kong, banking institutions like #HSBC has showcased a positive move on embracing RWA tech by introducing tokenization of #gold for its customers via their digital asset platform, Orion.

We've certainly noticed the resurgence of interest and growth in the Real World Assets space within the #DeFi and #blockchain sector. Backed by growth from 2 billion to 6 billion over the past few years, the RWA sector has displayed massive potential for disruption in the ecosystem. 🌏
What are Real World Assets? 🏦
RWAs typically mean assets that also exist and function outside of the digital realm - such as real estate, gold, commodities and government bonds. In the blockchain context, RWAs are digital tokens that are a representation of these assets. 💰

 We're now at the end of May - another month with lots of developments in the crypto space! 🔥 Time sure does fly.
May has been a month of recover for the #digitalassets market, with Bitcoin and Ethereum breaking key resistance levels. 📈
An exciting update for the ecosystem is definitely the approval of spot Ethereum exchange traded funds (ETFs) in the US. 🎉 We're keeping a close eye on developments in this space - and for those of you interested in following performances of Spot Crypto ETFs, check out @Notifs_app Gazer feature. 👀
Things were also exciting in Hong Kong as we attended the 2024 AWS Summit Hong Kong - the conference focused on discussions around AI and Web3 with quite a few interesting sessions. 🇭🇰 It was great to hear from other projects and tune in to various developments in the space. 🌐

There was the milestone of the Bitcoin Halving earlier in the month and just today - Hong Kong has officially debuts Spot Crypto ETF trading! 🇭🇰🎉 Six spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange traded funds (ETFs) have just launched today, offering Asian investors more exposure to digital assets. 🌐

Op please can you tell me more in this gemnastic (big) project because when I checked the website https://www.oax.org/ of the project, I couldn't understand the particular area it is focusing. It is talking about different things for me. It talks about decentralized exchanges and also it token has been listed in Binance and I like the if it is a decentralized exchange then it should do well to list it own token on it exchange why in another Centralized Exchanges? Well probably it is for market strategy. But really what is the project for because the website doesn't look like a DEX. Let me know and if something I can use. Hello!
