Can someone post some nodes?? i want to restart the pool!!
RESERVED...
Try these: addnode=69.85.86.195 addnode=70.98.114.238 edit: I have dynamic IP, but You can use my "node" for few days: 188.6.51.206 Thank! i will start the pool as soon as the client syncs Any of those nodes have the full chain already? I don't know, but in my opinion it will be a hard fork with a new blockchain if We reach 51% of hashrate. I think there will be a new blockchain

Thanks
My old wallet has not been confirmed yet so I am not able to continue the giveaway at the moment. Once it has finished I'll start sending coins!

are previous coins valid or is this a clean restart?
previous coins are valid but they may not get confirmed instantly after upgrades. Be patient!

A godlike cryptocurrency, Jupitercoin. Bitcoins may be boss, but Jupiter is a freakin' god! Even if you don't worship Roman gods, you have to admit Jupitercoin is a godlike name. (pun intended)
Forget about those wannabe bitcoins and litecoins. Jupitercoin is the way to go. (OR YOU SHALL BE STRUCK DOWN WITH LIGHTNING! RAHHH!) Download and Sources! Windows qt and daemon: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B49exKIsGBn5OGlBNHNPelR4OUk/edit?usp=sharing Source: https://github.com/jupitercoin/jupitercoin-v1.1--diff-update- SpecificationsCoin cap: 3.7 million Block intervals: 8.5 min Block Reward: 10 Difficulty Algorithm: Every block based on last two blocks Portsdefault port: 8569 testnet: 18569 p2p: 8568 rpc/mining port: 1234 OR 8569 Example jupitercoin.conflisten=1 daemon=1 server=1 rpcuser=**Yourusername** rpcpassword=**Yourpassword** rpcport=1234 or 8569 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1 addnode=69.85.86.195

1.0 will do as long as it's higher than 0.6.2 or whatever your last build was. Can be 0.7.3 or whatever you feel.
Can anyone give me some nodes? just deleted the blockchain and cannot sync... Do you have a compiled Linux daemon or qt?
|
|
|
I'll compile this again for you, give me 20 min or so!
Thanks!
|
|
|
bump for compiled binaries!
|
|
|
r3wt, can you make the installer again? (with the qt and daemon) I'll send you 10 JPC. Also, if anyone has any nodes, post your IP as well as your JPC address and I'll send you 0.5 JPC.

Well i think client version 6.3 is higher than 1.1... so i would change client version back to where it was or higher... 0.6.3 was the old version. so 1.1 is higher.

All I did was compile...git source wonky? Sorry guys...
it's not your fault, it's all mine. The source is wonky, version.h is messed up.
|
|
|
Version.h should be
// These need to be macro's, as version.cpp's voodoo requires it #define CLIENT_VERSION_MAJOR 2 #define CLIENT_VERSION_MINOR 0 #define CLIENT_VERSION_REVISION 0 #define CLIENT_VERSION_BUILD 0
not
#define CLIENT_VERSION_MAJOR 0 #define CLIENT_VERSION_MINOR 2 #define CLIENT_VERSION_REVISION 0 #define CLIENT_VERSION_BUILD 0
Your wallet wont let you roll back clients.
Haha, I was mucking around! I didn't know this would mess up everything. I wanted it to go from 0.1 to 0.2, but it was already at 0.6 Now it's version 1.1. Thanks muddafudda and shakezula! (sorry about the mishap)

Thanks so much! I will send you some BTC when JPC gets onto an exchange.

New update! The difficulty now retargets based on last two blocks, every block. Compile the source here: https://github.com/jupitercoin/jupitercoin-v0.2--diff-update-
If anyone can compile the source they will receive 5+3 JPC. (5 JPC for windows qt and daemon, 3 JPC extra for mac or linux qt)
Once 51% of the network has the client, the changes will take full effect. bump for compiled binaries

Cryptsy would be nice for this coin in a week or two Once the difficulty is fixed and the coin is revived, JPC will get onto an exchange.
