Good afternoon. Let's not write negative about the coin yet. Developers only at the very beginning of their work. So let's give them time. I wish everyone good luck.

I didn't write anything negative about the coin - my post only refers to the performance of the Paycent card.
You can give the developers as much time as you want to, but the fact will forever remain; they shipped out a half baked "solution" which cost a lot of people $140.

Paycent scams $140 from people who think they'll get a convenient product.

This is my experience with the Paycent card;

  • It can't be used for online purchases

  • 3 to 8 day processing times for transactions loading cash onto the card.

  • 1 to 3 day processing times for cryptocurrency transactions into the account. The team is processing these manually.

  • Poor conversion rates / approx $1.30 transaction fees added to EFT transactions in stores.
    Some example transactions;
    99 THB  purchase (USD 3.04)  -charged USD 4.43
    88 THB purchase (USD 2.70) - charged USD 4.09

Effectively it's a useless piece of crap that hasn't made anything more convenient, even in my desperate situation where I usually wait 3 days for overseas bank transfers.
Paycent customer service insists that the card is, "usable" so there's no obligation to refund the $140.

For doing what? Cloning Monero code to pollute the space with a shitcoin?

focus on providing the features that will best help facilitate adoption and usage

Please elaborate on this. So far your project only detracts from the global adoption of open source cryptocurrency.

The team will most likely be revealed when we finish the presale.

^ Huge red flag, regardless of the explanations you come up with.

We keep hearing about getting funding from block.one - we are not against the idea and we will look into it depending on how the ICO goes!

Let us know what block.one says if you hear back from them.

The demo on your website just seems like a third party extension for sending EOS on the EOS testnet. Why would anyone pay fees and risk using a third party app when they could transact freely from a wallet by block.one ?

Just another scam...load up on some dead zk-snark shitcoin, dump at astronomical prices after noobs fomo buy into the spawning of yet another shitcoin.

The world doesn't need 50 new iterations of every coin from pre 2017. Make something new!

If you trust the Zerocash protocol and implementations (ZK-Snarks) flawed by currency supplies that can't be audited, then stick with Zcash.

I personally think that a verifiable supply is crucial, hence my preference for the Zerocoin protocol, and holding of Zcoin.

A great article comparing the merits of various privacy coins;
