Coinmarketcal on the CLOUT platform

April 08, 2018

There have been numerous attempts to create a quality website listing events related to cryptocurrencies such as ; new token launches, team specific meetups, major developments on the platforms but none of them didn’t have long life.

The reasons for lack of success lie in many factors, but most often, the reliance on a single user who actively maintains and supports these sites is the common point of failure. At one point, the person who maintains the website of the listings loses interest, has no time or has other reasons to stop holding the updates and things start to tumble us.

Coinmarketcal has successfully produced a comprehensive website encompassing all of the above. There is a calendar of cryptocurrency events run by the community.

The success behind this new calendar of cryptocurrency events is due to the fact that it’s maintained by the community instead of one single person. Visitors are people who can not only explore the available events, but also add events (give evidence) and their submissions are validated using a voting system (users also validate events discarding false news). Coinmarketcal has been in many screens since its launch, from telegram groups to crypto specific shared calendars.

The partnership between Coinmarketcal and CLOUT ables our users to see all the events of Coinmarketcal on the CLOUT platform. This special addition into the CLOUT platform will increase awareness for all our users by adding another powerful tool of research into one’s arsenal.

Stay tuned for more announcements which we have planned and join now to our telegram group https://t.me/clout_io

This should put the scam accusations to rest once and for all. The dude is American, public, and subject to securities law per the FTC. If he did legitimately scam, instead of this more plausible story then he's a bit screwed even under current law, no regulations needed. I seriously doubt that he would do that.

Quote
The 33-year-old native of Youngstown, Ohio began with cryptocurrency when his friend challenged him to do his own research on Google. “I was mad that he didn’t tell me everything,” on what to look for and where, says Kirtz. “There was not enough information in this space.”
In 2016, he started the Facebook group “Crypto Day Traders,” to close the education gap. From 200 to over 30,000 members in six months, Kirtz gained enough confidence to leverage his investor relationships with Clout Network the information hub for digital currency investing. “We launched a pre-ICO, and it was amazing until my partner backed out,” he says, on raising $2.5 Million for the Clout token which was worth $1.
Like many early crypto enthusiasts turned fund managers and consultants, Kirtz encountered legal issues. “The co-founder tried to blackmail me for funds, reporting the company was a scam.” Kirtz’s team shrunk to three employees (he started with twenty), with mainly legal staying on board.
Pivoting.
Determined to save the team, Kirtz made a strategic partnership with a seperate company he founded called ICO Services Inc. As the consulting arm for CLOUT, Kirtz pulls ICO clients and uses 25% of the profits to airdrop to token holders, and another 25% to cover operational costs.
Kirtz manages 5–6 projects at a time, and is scheduled to raise $260 million between ICOs. With focus on creative smart contracts, community engagement and marketing, the activity will only increase predicts Kirtz.
ICO Services Inc offers various services to deliver clients greater transparency. Multiple escrow service providers including TMF ensure that both buyers and sellers of say, Bitcoin are protected. Multi-signature wallets ensure multiple parties are disclosed during the transaction ensuring additional layers of security. Account systems with the option of hiring employees for the portfolio companies ensure compliance.
Equally important are community building and branding. “Typically, our clients have 5–10,000 users in Telegram,” the encrypted app adored by cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiasts and investors, says Kirtz. The numbers are greater on Facebook: 20–50,000 total users. From these groups, advisers are selected and placed in exclusive telegram groups that have members with over $1 Million of digital currency investments. The benefit of being in the group is that “we can raise for example, $30 Million in 20 minutes,” announces Kirtz.

At least we'd have a platform eventually. Sean never really left. When he "left" he was under another name the whole time lurking the chat. He can't exactly head both a company that helps people raise ICO funds and a news/social site that is geared towards socially aggregated coin ratings that just might consist of those ICOs. Not on the surface, anyway.

And you find that à partnership with an other project created by Sean IS good ?

Sean knows that several guys wish follow her. With the régulation, WE should see this scammer in jail.

Remember: they told that they will refund pre investor..
They lie during several months.

They sold for 2,5 millions dollars. They spend on marketing (but who knows clout ? Huh). Why jen left the boat ? Why she didnt promote clout on her Facebook page  ?

WE Pay one dollar by clout. Now, it s /30?

Again, you're mad because you paid 1$ per token on a failed ICO that decided to launch without the proper funding or development during a gigantic market crash where eth alone lost over 50% value in 6 weeks. They only raised 200 BTC-ish at the maximum. HitBTC alone cost 20 of that when they could've listed like 6-7 exchanges with eth pair at 1/10 the cost (yobit is only 1 btc) plus HitBTC demanded 1m tokens on top of that. Your standard convention booth space rental can run $10000 just for the booth. The team is there and active, but they heard all of this a million times. The ICO price was insane. It should've been 5c-10c like a lot of the others. Dimcoin is like the lowest on HitBTC and they raised 14 million.

Neither have made the best business decisions by engaging the larger cryptocurrency community, but that don't necessarily mean that they are bad projects. They still have admins in the telegram. You can go and talk to Sean right now if you want, but if you're just going to sit there and bitch all day about the token price and telling everyone else that it's a scam is you will not help the price on your token holdings or your relationship with him and the team unless you don't hold the token anymore. If that is the case, you're just a hater at that point with the other haters in their echo box telegram circle jerking each other and bitching about people that aren't even involved anymore or bitching about people bitching about people that aren't even involved anymore.

The team don't communicate on bitcointalk either, but that's where everyone in crypto is. Like I said, if anyone reading this would like to get involved, not even buying tokens just asking the team for some dev bounties they've got hella coins left. just join their telegram and ask stef or gav what they need.

How does this platform different from other social media platforms?

The idea is basically to give ICOs and other crypto projects a place to talk about crypto, advertise it, and create content since Twitter/Facebook/Google are banning crypto ads and hiding/flagging social posts related to it.

They had an ICO, but they didn't hit their cap and maybe made a couple million which is only like a years budget in a very modest business then tried to launch it anyway. They paid like 200k for a HitBTC listing and however much they spent going to summits and buying booths with all of the convention shit and probably paid their own salaries after it ended as well. They also had quite a bit of internal drama with how the funds were managed recklessly like this (there are way more reputable and cheaper exchanges with more humans to list on than HitBTC) and rightfully so, so the CEO (Sean Kirtz) left but that's basically what this is now.

Tokens are very cheap now. They're struggling a bit with development and community. This would be a perfect project for a backend dev with ipfs knowledge to get a hold of because of the extra ICO tokens and cheap price. Most of these guys are just butt hurt because they paid $1 per coin in a failed ICO that costs a cent now on the market because 150k tokens got distributed in bounties before listing day, plus hitbtc bots and there is not much for a community.

It's nice that it's listed on hitbtc with the alpha platform delivered. This is better than 80% of coins. However, volume is very low. Crickets chirping in this thread. Nobody seems to want to spend even 4 btc to bring it back anywhere near ICO price. Telegram admins have no interest in promotion, they believe that somehow people will stumble upon the coin and the "market" will decide. They think that the less "groups" get involved with it the better, but in reality that's volume still that they need to even get listed on coin market cap.

Well, the market can't decide anything until people know more about it. There is no "market" right now. All they have is a brilliant website for being in alpha stage and a coin that's like 1/10th ICO price and falling. Surely there could be a community built around this coin, but we would have to do it since they don't even really come to bitcointalk, and leave their discussion threads to die unless they release something.

I can't even create an account on the website... Whenever I try to register it says - "Wrong Captcha" but it never shows me a captcha? wtf?

Honestly they've had issues with ddos and everything else it seems. The site is completely unusable at the moment. The servers are taxed hard core. Trying to load the page brings me back to like dial-up days. Trading is practically worthless considering you have to wait 10 mins just for the page to load and by that time your sale and buy is gone. That's if it loads, maybe you have to wait half an hour before you see the page from refreshing it 20 times otherwise you get a 502 service denial and your price could fluctuate by .5 or more sats during that time. Garbage. I doubt any transfer is going to last, even work and i wouldn't even try it right now. Not in a scam way, but in a "these servers can't keep up with an html load let alone 250 wallets" way.

Edit: Fucking god damn piece of shit website just fucking lost me out of a 10 dollar profit trade. FIX YOUR SHIT coinsmarkets. Are you trying to run a server at home or something? You should make enough off fees to rent a few good vps with failover mode?

I have nothing against joking around, but if you actually want to be the next bitcoin, it needs to be neutral.

If you think Bitcoin was neutral, you need your head examined. It might be sort of normalized now, but you can't forget all the schemes, money laundering, drug sales, lulzsec/anonymous/wikileaks, etc stories that it carried and the anti-institution, anti-government, and anti-regular finance stance that the original Bitcoin was designed to go up against.

We're damn LUCKY that they didn't ban it outright back then, because its now too mainstream for them to. They got the fancy graphics, and the marketers, and all of this stuff NOW with Bitcoin, but it never started like that. It was essentially a middle finger to "normal" society, governments, institutions, banks, etc that only favored nerds. The only reason why they didn't ban Bitcoin at least in America, is because of the Libertarian lobbyists that went and talked (and almost lied mind you about the origin of it's existence, they simply omitted it and focused on the technology) to the fed, congress members, economists, etc, made a bunch of the fancy graphic design work, and made it palatable for mainstream consumption.

Because they are anarcho-capitalists and that subversion is exactly what their political goal is, is why Bitcoin became a household name. They also had a lot of powerful people like Peter Thiel and others involved, conventions where they gave out bitcoin, etc. They may not win elections, but they could certainly move the needle around. Adam Kokesh, the Free State Project/Cop Block crew/etc, and other organizations did just that.

I'm positive this will see a lot of attention *because* it's crypto old skool. However, the next Bitcoin will likely be an AML/regulatory compliant coin when Bitcoin becomes too slow, too many crap coins are released, and the big government hammer gets struck from 8/10 people losing money in the markets from the obviously crap pump and dump coins that even get enough funding for listings now because the devs were releasing crap coins for years and now have enough spare btc to pay for them.

For now, though. Old skool ways prevail. This is probably top candidate.

Where does the japanese community meet and talk btw?

I was talking about the possibility and checking ir.hn's thorough detective work at about the same time this was randomly posted in the coinsmarkets troll box. Even if it isn't Nakamoto and company, they sure know exactly which combination of bits and pieces of modern crypto technology would make a good v2. Like I said, it's either them or some 4chan trolls, but whoever it was did a fine job on choice of algorithm and the economics of the coin. And even if it's 4chan/anon, it's not like it's particularly different than the first time around.

They do have a Japanese room on the discord server.

"easter egg" confirmed.

ANN part of forum should be strongly moderated to stop scam coins at the beginning of their way. Many shit and scam nowdays.

Lots are picked up as well after the devs bounce. Force probably being the latest. Since there is probably still a block chain and a listing and the dev publicly left, this is perfect for someone else to pick up the chain and continue, but they would have to act quickly.

Its not FUD, it is basically fraud that I am exposing, mega miner hides himself from the richlist and takes extrordinary steps to hide how much yenten he really has while likely buying up all the supply he can.  I'm stillmining but I won't be holding yenten during a pump and dump like I believe we are in.  Since hashrate is rising I think he will probably try to pull this off sooner rather then later while he still controls the majority of yenten.

It's fraud to hold a coin and mine it and buy it at the same time according to newbies  Grin Hilarious. Take your pills Mr chill. I'd like to see you involved in this coin without the obvious novice hysterics.

I've been involved in this coin from the very beginning, I was mining it within the first day it was released and created a profile solely to interact here on this thread.  I believe in cpu only coins and this is the very best at the moment and I see myself mining this until I release my own coin however long that may take.

What you all have to understand is that this is the wild west.  If this sort of thing had been going on in stocks it would be illegal.  I'm glad its not illegal but with great power comes great responsibility so we need us little guys to expose the antics of the big guys so we don't suffer for it.

People asked why would a pump and dump matter?  For the hardcore early adopters we would stick around but do we really want to look bad to our friends and more skeptical people if they buy at 10,000 satoshi and loose it all when a big player that we didn't even know existed dumps?  It is a morale killer and I am trying to protect us from that.

Slow and steady gains is what we want we don't need the flashiness of a meteoric rise and then a dump that kills all interest in the coin.

I think part of your argument relies on the idea that miners have figured out how to mine it cheaply. People are greedy, and if one person cracked the algo then hashrate would be 8 mh/s by now. Instead, I really believe these big miners are putting at least 250-450 sat of mining costs into obtaining each coin, which means there is simply a huge amount of investment entering the network right now.

If a single person is hoarding coins in multiple wallets... either they dump or they hold. If they dump then cheaper coins for everyone and lower diff, but if they hold until price increases then they are essentially removing that supply from the market for a period of time and so they deserve the profits that they could realize down the road.

As for the volatility, I think you are correct. People could lose lots of money if they are buying at 6,000 sat and it crashed back to 600 sat. But that’s more of an argument for why new adopters should mine, mine, and mine instead of buying on markets, and frankly I’d prefer to see an increase in individual miners over an increase in price.

Do we all want to agree on a community signature or use our own? I’m going to make my own version today and I’ll post the code in case anyone wants it too.

Go ahead and make it and I'm sure we will all adopt it until something cooler comes along Smiley.  But ya when anyone controls 1/3 the total supply like the current situation we find ourselves in, just a flick of his finger and it could cause a crash from anywhere the price becomes to 100 sat.  The big revelation here is that no one knew that a single person controlled 1/3 of yenten.  He hid his tracks pretty decently.  #1 on the rich list is just one of many of his wallets.

These crashes were very common in the early btc days. It would tank because someone early on had thousands or tens of thousands of coins (like the pizza buyers), then it would all get bought up again. This is why currency supply and emission rate matters. Bonus to this project because it's a curve ball to the miners. I can probably guarantee you the big wallet is the AWS guy. He's been renting AWS super computers to get a bunch of it, and helping others do the same, and telling people to mine it. I've talked to him in chat, he thinks it's the next btc like everyone else here. Likely banking on that being his retirement.

The less currency supply you have, and the more it is public and with buyers, the higher the prices.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.2.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: December 16, 2017, 11:54:28 PM
WARNING WARNING WARNING

We are very possibly in a Pump and dump!  The person who has the most yenten, 13% of the total supply of 1.6 million coins, is the one who is buying everything up at the exchanges!  This guy is a miner it appears but he is also making tons of buys at exchanges it seems.  Looking at his wallet everything is a buy and since there are two transaction outputs in almost every transaction it means that these coins are coming from an exchange.  Some of his income is also coming in transactions where there are dozens of outputs which makes me think he is also the #2 miner in one of the pools.

http://yenten-blockexplorer.chocottokozukai.click/address/YejFaoNhNUhTyHvop9zxeCdeoWx6uTrMU9

My advice?  Set your buy orders under 200-300 satoshi per coin so that when this guy does dump, you can buy it at the bottom.

Holy shit, this guy is also linked (in the transaction below) to this SOLO miner who has generated roughly 1/3 the total supply of yenten!

http://yenten-blockexplorer.chocottokozukai.click/tx/00869b38b1fdc41b9428ba6edc3ce827deb038ad28690b746128324f77929d9d

http://yenten-blockexplorer.chocottokozukai.click/address/YVX5SfUzgDP4px17rJX7AaKbWVSJ2JLJvs

This guy doesn't own 13% of the total supply, he owns at least 30%!

Oh wow. a few hundred k coins.

Now, look at 99.9% of projects in these ANNs. All of them scrypt, high APR PoS, etc. Those top wallets have few hundred MILLIONS of coins.

There is zero chance that if they dump 100% of their supply, you're going to see a 10-50 sat coin. Zero. It will be the same price it dumped at a week later. Even if he really really really hated the coin and got everyone else to dump and drove the price to nothing more than a 1 sat sell wall, you could buy the entire supply generated for $200-ish.

Your conspiracies are a yawn fest. The mathematics you're used to with other projects don't apply here. They do not have enough supply to dump to zero. They would have to in addition build a sell wall of over .2 btc for others not to buy in. It's impossible.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.2.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: December 16, 2017, 11:29:53 PM
This mega miner is funneling yenten through thousands of one time use throw away addresses then depositing it into holding accounts.  He is loosing half of his mining rewards in transaction fees just to hide this miners existence!  His biggest holding account is the #1 largest holder of yenten but he has many more that are probably in the top 10 as well such as this one.

http://yenten-blockexplorer.chocottokozukai.click/address/YgD4ByGnqviNafUAyJ5nTgCULYye86sU6N

And yes I am an investigator but no not junior.

Cool, they dump... Cheap yenten yay!

It would just get bought up. lol. Not even the top wallet has the millions and millions it would take to dump this coin to 1 sat with a $1k+ sell wall..

What's new on this coin, does the coin have prospects?
Is it worth it to mine this coin?
Is there a wallet or can it be mined only with the program?

This coin seems to have no premine. That's alot to be said compared to most scrypt coins. Also this has an asic-resistant algorithm.
