The thanks I get.

@crackfoo After further testing, I came to the conclusion that it's something on your end or new hosting server doing something weird. I have tried 3 different yiimp based pools with all the same settings for multiple days, and all of my miners connect successfully to them constantly with no miner dropping out randomly. It's only when I connect to your pool that some miners drop out randomly and going to a backup pool.

I am still using your pool, but this random dropping out of your pool is a nuisance. I have narrowed it down to your pool, since it's not the miner's fault or else it would of experience the same issue on the 3 other yiimp based pools, but it doesn't.

Since you also have a Baikal miner, hopefully you will be able to figure something out because you can also test it with another yiimp pool to see yourself that it won't randomly disconnect.

P.S. I remember in the past, before your recent server changes/upgrade/overhaul, it never had this issue. Hope that info helps somehow.

There were some comments a few pages back about the pool limiting requests from the same IP (and some suggestions on how to manage that) that may be related if you have multiple miners...

Hi Crackfoo,

Problems with Zpool.ca ?
Just lost connections, a couple of time's.

Retryíng in a few moments.

Regards,

DS-M/Sander

Samehere and the website?

Same.  Seeing wrong stats for the miners.  Duplicate miners, missing miners.  1/2 the hash rate not reported.  Assuming its a DB problem so will check in a few hours.

The pool is reporting hundreds of dollars a day for sha256 again.

And since you wind up paying an exchange fee anyhow (mined coins -> BTC -> Payment coin) I personally recommend just taking BTC and exchanging it yourself.  This way you can control the timing better (worse case its a wash as your paying the exchange fee either way)
Suppose you mine ETH and want to be paid in XMR, the pool will change to BTC before changing to XMR!?

That is my understanding of what occurs.

I noticed that my S9's do not have extra nonce support enabled, but I do have #xnsub at the end of the stratum URL.  My D3's do show correctly.  I have the latest firmware (November 2017) on the S9's.  Should I be concerned that it doesn't appear to be enabled properly?  Is there something else I need to do to make this work? Thanks!

hello @crackfoo

what is the proper line command to mine GBX

I'm currently getting this:

We are short of this currency (1892.75201175 GRN). Please STOP your miners and switch to BTC until we find more GRN blocks.
YOU are responsible if you continue to mine for GRN despite this warning.

my current setup is

ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://neoscrypt.mine.zpool.ca:4233 -u GZgRd5D1tktPtCVAHpGosk86qWojD4gHSy c=GBX
pause

It's a GoByte qt wallet

What am I missing here?

Also is there a way to convert those GRNs into something else since they have been already mined as well?

If you are being literal your missing -p before your c=GBX I think

Guys i try to start mine only INN but a lot of coins come through how can i make the bat file only for INN ??

you can't. it's a multipool. You only choose your payout coin. everything you mine goes to that
And how can i do that?

change your PW to C=INN or whatever the exchange listing is for the coin you want to get paid in.
There's a danger to this though.  I've had a few coins get dropped while I had balances and I didn't get paid for them.  C=BTC is the only one that they guarantee.

And since you wind up paying an exchange fee anyhow (mined coins -> BTC -> Payment coin) I personally recommend just taking BTC and exchanging it yourself.  This way you can control the timing better (worse case its a wash as your paying the exchange fee either way)

Hi.

I have been trying this pool for about 3 days and everything was working fine (perhaps some glitches on the frontend but not a major issue).
But in the last hour I have seen my total balance has been reduced . My main coin is Verge (XVG) .At the first sight I thought maybe it would be exchange for coins, but after I realized it just nulled all SHIELD coins mBTC values as you can see in the picture below:

https://imgur.com/4SwUguV

Is there any way to fix this issue?

Thank you in advance.

From Twitter:  We’ve disabled @StocksExchangeR because they’re not sending BTC. Coins found just on that exchange will show as 0 BTC value until the exchange sends the BTC and is reenabled.

I'm away travelling BTC payouts will resume Friday night. They require manual approval which I can't access at the moment do to my own misconfiguration.
In case you hadn’t noticed already BTC payouts have already been sent.
Cheers

Payouts seemed to have stopped again (nothing for over 24 hours).   Are you still having to do them manually?  Do you have an ETA on when the configuration issue you mentioned would be fixed?

payouts were only delayed wed/thur. It's back to regular schedule now.

Then FYI something new may be going on, I have no payments for 24 hours and was well over the threshold (a few multiples of it).  Wallet 1BsUAfX7dLinbyiipSRUgbgyfp8GzJMHtb  Any chance you can post the BTC payment time in addition to the rolling 4 hour payout time for other currencies?  That would help to know when expect BTC payments, as (honestly) I originally didn't catch the 'next payout' referee to the 4 hour payouts for other coins.  As always, thank you for everything!

Hi crackfoo,

Already on 0.00280901, are you sending out payouts?

Sorry newbie here.

Thanks

You quoted him saying that due to an error he would send payments on Friday.  Since today is Thursday and not Friday, its probably safe to say that he is not *yet* sending payouts.  I've been mining on Zpool for a few weeks (so still a newbie) but everything eventually gets paid.  There have been some front end hiccups and this payment hiccups, but still totally worth it to me for the returns vs other pools I've tried.

Happened to me.  I changed my setup to have the c=BTC at the end and a new address worked from the first connect.  Then a few days later the abandonned BCH address was changed to BTC automatically (or someone did it but didn't contact me).  So in short, try putting c=BTC at the end and also try a different address (I used the same wallet, just generated a new address)

I have c=BTC set but they didnt change the BCH address for me.
When they changed your BCH address to BTC, did the mined coins got there? Because I've been mining all day using c=BTC. Would like to see the profits from that.

Yes, it was just dust because I moved addresses as soon as I saw the issue, but when it was fixed the balance moved over.

So my miners were working fine, and now all of a sudden they are not showing their hashrates on zpool - however we are seeing they are active locally (I.e. ccminer). Can you look in to this please @crackfoo? Thanks! http://zpool.ca/?address=38L1mGih6dwow4orfPdJP4RKnhfJUGqHVX

Same here.  On one post someone mentioned that happens when the DB tables are backed up, as someone else posted it usually clears itself up.  The miners are working, its just the front end that appears off.

My hashrate's arent showing up on zpool

And I'm getting

Quote
We are short of this currency (8.56736741 BCH). Please STOP your miners and switch to BTC until we find more BCH blocks.
YOU are responsible if you continue to mine for BCH despite this warning

using my BTC wallet 1N13QWoBmNxXfp69xgZX5YzKYaGWVAUeUY

I did set c=BTC but appearantly doesn't help anything..

17  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining farms in the US how is demand calculated with electrical rate? on: January 13, 2018, 05:19:01 PM
I don't know what you read but your response makes little sense.  I didn't say fans use zero electricity.  I simply stated you don't need AC which is extremely expensive if you plan to cool a sealed room of these miners.  All you need, even in a hotter climate, is good airflow from a decent quality exhaust fan or similar.

I will just add, be sure you get exhaust fans which are rated for higher heat.  Most off the shelf (e.g. Grainger) fans are rated to 104.  In the Texas summers thats too close to ambient for my liking.  I use commercial grease fans (restaurants use them) which are rated to 300f.  I'd hate for a fan to fail because its summer and then lose the miners because the air cooling stopped.   I also put in 3 instead of the 2 I needed (because Im paranoid like that).  One set to turn on at 80, another 90, the third 100.  The third should never run, but if another fan fails during a heatwave it will.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Zpool.ca: Does it take 20-22% fee? on: January 12, 2018, 03:31:32 PM
Are those blocks confirmed?  In my tests for some of the coins it can take days before they are confirmed and enough liquidity exists to exchange them.  There is a LONG tail on some of them (not hours, days, maybe a week).  That said, in my tests the payouts eventually show up.  I think many people mine for a day and compare numbers, but thats not really a good comparison since many of the smaller alt coins won't have been paid yet.  Mine for 24 hours then look at your total payout 7 days later...
19  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining farms in the US how is demand calculated with electrical rate? on: January 01, 2018, 11:19:19 PM
75*3.4  plus (75 * 0.4644 * 24 * 30)

Your demand charge is easy as you have constant demand.  Demmand charges are really for traditional businesses which need more whatts during certain hours.  Your 24/7 and can just multiply and get them.
