Hello,

I would really like to be allowed into the forum beyond before I have completed the required 5 posts and 4 hours logged in.

Here is what I read and understand about bitcoins:
- Satoshi's original paper
- https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Introduction
- https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Protocol_specification
- https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Getwork
- and more ...

Here is what I have done so far with bitcoins:
- I have downloaded a bitcoin wallet
- I tried mining with BFG miner (but I don't think I ran it long enough to get results)
- I have installed ModelSim and I am working on a VHDL code that calls SHA-256 twice. I have base myself on free code from Git Hub (Open-Source-FPGA-Bitcoin-Miner-master). My program is fully pipelined.
- Now, before programming my FPGA and trying to mine with it on a pool, I'd like to verify the working of the code with test vectors (inputs and there corresponding outputs).

Thanks ^^
4  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FREE BITCOIN Sites *and* Free Newbie Lotto on: July 18, 2013, 08:17:52 PM
Hello,

I am new to bitcoins. I have downloaded a wallet and tried mining with BFG miner, but have not gotten any luck yet. Also, because I wanted to have a least a little fraction of a bitcoin to see how it works, I tried many free bit coin sites, but none have worked.

I tried bit coin tree, bit visitor, daily bitcoins, el bitcoin gratis, faucet BTC, free coins, bit bucks, bitits.info, canhasbitcoin, etc. For some I watched all the ads, but still at the end of the day, I did not earn anything.

Now, I am trying to figure out how to write VHDL code to program an FPGA to mine bitcoins. Wow, its complicated. Thats why I registered to this site, because I wanted to know if any one had some test vectors (inputs and there corresponding outputs) so that I can test if my VDHL code really works or not.

Thanks ^^
