1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What ASIC manufacturer you choose if you were to buy one? on: September 10, 2013, 08:45:53 PM
I made the horrible mistake of pre-ordering from BFL and now I have lost my job and they will not give me a refund. I've been waiting almost 5 months which is nothing compared to many who pre-ordered initially. They have been waiting for well over a year Sad meanwhile me and my family have been evicted from our house. I am trying to sell my BFL pre-order some how. If you want to deal with a company that cares about you as a customer then stay away from BFL. KnC has customer service figured out. It looks like they are even on track to meet their production schedule.

I am using Armory, but the having to download the blockchain is a serious pain. I have read a lot of good things about electrum. I am thinking of switching.

I have been waiting for 2 weeks so far to receive my CAD withdrawal from Mt.Gox. I am told by a banking professional here in Canada that after your first transfer it is supposed to get faster but I have not noticed that. From what I can see in the withdrawal options a Japanese Domestic transfer is very quick. I think that the tricky bit will be the withdrawing. If your Japanese friend has to wire you the money its going to take a while. I think it is unlikely that the Japanese bank will allow you to withdraw USD.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I am going to try eBay as well. I have a screenshot of my order. I can't see a way to post it? I see the IMG tags but it looks like it needs a URL. I don't really have a place to host the image from.

Just reading through the project goals. https://buttercoin.hackpad.com/FAQ-QTRSMzlkLD6 It is very ambitious. Can anyone comment on what it would take (aside from the investments already mentioned) make make something like this take off?

Hi All,

I am selling my pre-order for 5 of the 50 GH/s miners. Me and my family are in real trouble so I need the money really bad. Hoping to get 75-100 BTC for all five. Pay date was April 26. 2013. If you are interested contact me and I will do a screen sharing session with you to show proof of the order. If you buy then I will hand over access to my pre-order account and you can have them shipped directly to you.
