Sounds like you need to run your batch files from the command line so the window doesnt close when it fails and you can see whats actually happening.

You say you normally use linux distros. Linux is VASTLY superior to windows when it comes to mining. Why are you trying to run Windows?
I've ran batch directly in command prompt and it start's like it should........2 seconds later poof, gone.

A) OF course linux is VASTLY superior no argument here, reboots back/forth are a hasle so background mining/testing while in windows less confusing.

Normally I use Linux distros, but for the life of me I've tried everything!
 YES, for months I've searched in here unsuccessfully, different coins/ and tried ALL of youtube's methods configuring even a fresh install (UN-updated) only downloading VB after first trying in install latest attempt ccminer2.2.5 for pirl.

What happens:
- my command prompt will pop up for a split second only, acting like somethings still mis-configured (my guess) or defender kills it (tried adding folders/files/.exe's as exclusions too).

What I've tried:
- run as admin; disable firewall & defender; re-formatting & installing fresh licensed copy no updates - after updates; different GPU's with device drivers installed of course only to watch wonderful windows' new policy circumvent ALL win 10 PRO services I'd disabled be re-enabled and gtx installed drivers auto-replaced with microsofts proprietary vers. ... ...

Mobo= z270
ram=4g
GPU= 1060 6g zotac, or MSI, or whatever's laying around doesn't matter.

Plz help, I'd like to test-drive on my desktop b4 switching the rigs to un-tested stuff - Thnks in advance!

Hoping I get an answer here, I pointed my RX570 rig to this in SMOS. In the script I added my Zcash address, but after 12 hours of mining (12 mod'd cards) I have no idea if I'll receive a payout! for the last year I've mostly used nanopool/dwarfpool so I'm used to their pool interfaces to view stats etcetera.

Default config: -zpool zec-eu.coinmine.pl:7007 -zwal tytanick.0 -zpsw x

My conf.:  -zpool zec-eu.coinmine.pl:7007 -zwal t1KGeHxJTYxD(My public zcash altered here...)abc.0 -zpsw x

I'm I missing something? anyone else use SMOS here that can help direct me or:

1) confirm its 'config'd' correct or not.

2) Tell me how it pays out? or where to view?

THANX IN ADVANCE  Smiley

I guess visiting "coinmine.pl" ....maybe? { IT'S AN SMOS THING.} No instructions, only directing inquiries here :-/

OKAY, found solution @ their pool for anyone mining there wit SMOS, it's paying out with my above config for the next guy seeking answers for this  Wink

My Nvidia rig is still earning but my AMD rig is down. Embarrassed
Please post if your 'earnings' payout to your wallet. Thats the only way we'll know ....right? dwarfpool (eth) showed earnings, but I rebooted and won't direct back to work.

Huh

Sooo website is a website, hoping client-side dashboards are isolated and I haven't been mining for someone else; I can understand IT getting hacked open and the index changed but my question is:

1- Do I bootup my rigs?.....safe?

Everything is mining fine for me......
Well, then don't try to reboot I guess. Mine are not connecting to simpleming pool on 'boot-up now -- meaning no re-direct to pool Sad

P.S. NICEHASH SUX!  tired of loosing hard earned coin Tongue
(sorry-just venting....)
