1  Economy / Goods / Re: Rock for sale - 50BTC on: August 10, 2013, 02:23:01 AM
I hope your rock it's authentic and you can prove that.

I do not think anyone would want to pay around $ 4,500 for a simple stone.

Good luck with your selling!
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Using BitStamp from the USA? on: August 10, 2013, 02:17:38 AM

So be careful, you can get your money/coins blocked.

Is it possible for sites like these to harness the computing power of its users in order to mine bitcoins? I thought I read it somewhere but it didn't make sense to me at all since I wasn't aware how a website could access it's users GPUs (or at least it seemed like it would have to be very inefficient and CPU driven). Was this a myth or is this a real thing?
Don't think so.

This is just a simple lottery game with real chances of winning.

I've tested the site!

Transactions with serious amounts of money are delayed.
That isn't nice!

There is no such thing as "greed" if there is a buyer.

Its greed when you make more than enough and then some, yet you still bought 70 6990s and like 5 BFL 20k miners... I would call that greed because even after all that you still have money to blow...  Greed
Others would call that development!
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Socialism on: August 09, 2013, 10:47:25 PM
People often confuse "socialism" with the concept of "communism." While the two ideologies share much in common, in fact communism encompasses socialism.
The primary difference between the two is that "socialism" applies to economic systems, whereas "communism" applies to both economic and political systems.

Another difference between socialism and communism is that communists directly oppose the concept of capitalism, an economic system in which production is controlled by private interests.
Socialists, on the other hand, believe socialism can exist within a capitalist society.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Moral Dilemma. ATM machine gave me $600 instead of $500. Should I call bank? on: August 09, 2013, 10:43:34 PM
If you want to withdraw 500&, recepit(500$) and the account was decreased with 500. The ATM gives you 100$ free, then enjoy your free money. We shouldn't have mercy for banks!

"Not yet - If I see a good ad I might click on it"

Because most of that links are uninteresting.

The title always sounds good but the content is weird.

Banks are legal usurers!
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is REAL Money" Says Federal Judge- NBC News on: August 09, 2013, 03:07:57 PM
"It is clear that Bitcoin can be used as money. It can be used to purchase goods or services, and as Shavers stated, used to pay for individual living expenses. The only limitation of Bitcoin is that it is limited to those places that accept it as currency. However, it can also be exchanged for conventional currencies, such as the U.S. dollar, Euro, Yen, and Yuan. Therefore, Bitcoin is a currency or form of money, and investors wishing to invest in BTCST provided an investment of money."

Finally Smiley

I thought i'll not hear this anymore.

Now people realized that simple mining rigs were good.

The technology was overvalued but they got their money.

Greed? Don't think so.

Call it "competition".
