2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Porn - Where is it going? What do you guys think? on: December 28, 2017, 10:08:10 AM
unless the transaction cost for bitcoin go down, then making small payments for porn or other consumables does not remain feasible in my view
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: December 23, 2017, 10:16:31 AM
Of course it can be hacked and stolen, especially bit bitcoin "banks"

I really do not understand why people store their bitcoin in banks that can get hacked.

If you want a real foolproof way of avoiding bitcoin hacking then store your bitcoins in "cold storage"

which is a PC or USB that is unconnected to the internet.

4  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: December 12, 2017, 11:02:43 AM
I think its good for the consumer because it will force oil companies to be more efficient and competitive which means better prices for us

however I think electric cars are far away from bringing out that sort of competition and are a very niche and small market right now.

unless there is a massive infrastructure overhaul which allows electric cars to charge up anywhere and quickly then its going to take a long time for them to compete with oil
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ?? on: December 12, 2017, 10:52:16 AM
a few weeks ago I thought it was too late at around 7000$

It will probably be the same deal a couple of weeks from now.

Its amazing watching the evolution of bitcoin
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: December 07, 2017, 11:11:34 AM
Bitcoin is a risky thing to trade with big price fluctuations

If you have a stable job and have people that depend on you like a spouse and or kids then it would be reckless to end your job in pursuit of bitcoin.

If you have extra cash then I say yes you should invest in bitcoin but only throw out what you are willing to lose and dont sell on panic runs because bitcoin always recovers and hits new highs thus far, but in the financial world anything can happen and if you are not prepared to lose or are betting the farm on bitcoin then the market has the ability to eat you up and convert you to feces
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: whooo!!! Bitcoin just broke the $15,000 mark!!! on: December 07, 2017, 10:52:44 AM
