How do You find "cheap" coins with 10-100x pump&dump potential?
|
|

Where and how can you find cheap / new coins to mine.
Next move is to look for 10-100x pump and dump, right?

Hello guys ! Im mining for like 10 days soo far and got some MSI settings but i dont know if there is any better ones? Im mining with 3X Gtx 1070 strix, theese are my settings: Power Limit: 79% Core Clock: +114 Memory Clock: +650 Fan speed: 45% Temperature: 50C And I am getting around 3.4 Sols per wat and my gpu's are using around 120w each If anyone has some better settings please comment !
right now most profitable way for me is nist5 mining bwk getting around 42 mh/s with 500 on memory , 120 on core and power limit at 90 percent getting around 42 - 47 usd for 6 1070s. Which pool do you use?

EWBF miner is quite happy to run at a 0.2% fee (which I consider a LOT more reasonable for a widely-used mining program of comparable performance).
Hi QuinLeo, How do you know the real fee is just 0.2%? And how to set that fee? As I remembered EWBF's miner has the fees of 2% and somebody did tests to figure out that this miner has a average fees of about 3.8%, and the command --fee seems not effective. Thanks! EWBF has 2 - 3.8%? I Didn't know that .

Did some OC and left my rig for the night. Power 85%, Core +85, Mem +400 - This was the most stable setup so far. Here are the stats for zCash from nanopool: Let me know your tips

I see. Will look for 1000+. Thanks!
it's better if you also go for the non-mini version of your gpu as they tend to throttle a lot, and i don't think 250gb is really necessary, 120gb is enough for big virtual memory for certain coins ZOTAC 180 TI Mini is slow. zCash 707 Sol/sec. and my 1070ti are 509 Sol/sec. ZOTAC was almost 2x the price! I fucked up ....... and learned my lesson.

Mine when difficulty is low even if it's not the #1 most profitable right now then hold and wait for 2-100x price increase.
2 - 100X ??!!?? Have you ever experienced x100 ? I guess some "shitcoin" with pump and dump, right?

Thank You guys so much for the help! I'm running now on 80% Power. 3.33 Sol/W so far Small improvement.

I’m a little late to the party but went overkill on the CPU but glad you fixed the PSU. Your really need to play with your OC settings and you will be able to get much better hashrates. I would try even up to +150 core +600 memory and see if it’s stable at 70% if you got Samsung memory in your GPUs it might be possible.
OK. Will try with more OC. So far it's all stable. GPU temp is around 68-73C per card.

Now i'm mining zCash
Here are my stats so far:
CUDA: Device: 0 GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, 11264 MB i:64 CUDA: Device: 1 GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, 8192 MB i:64 CUDA: Device: 2 GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, 6144 MB i:64 CUDA: Device: 3 GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, 8192 MB i:64

u need to play with your settings to get the best bang for the buck (efficiency) try to use +150 core and +400 memory and tdp 75% and check your results I already did +100 Core and +500 memory on all cards using MSI AfterBurner. What's a TDP? Power consumption? Yes, you will get much better sol/watt ration with almost same speeds. try for each card individually. if you use MSI afterburner it is called power limit and please try to swap out your PSU for a better one My PSU is: EVGA SuperNOVA 1200 P2, 1200W, 80 PLUS Platinum I'm OK .... i think Will change Power Limit. Thanks!

Asus Strix O8G full stock here, Mining with Winminer configured to mine only zen or zec. atm doing ZEC @3.44 usd/day. 440-450 Sol/s. Also new at this business so tips are welcomed.
3.44 usd/day per card?

In fact, almost all GTX 1070ti are the same because NVidia have forsed manufacturers to do so. That is why there is no practical reson to buy very expensive card. But personaly I like ASUS Strx series.
Thank you. Now I have more options

I think better to choose gtx 1070 ti with Micron or Samsung memory because i heard that hynix memory its not godo in mining.. And mostly MSI GTX 1070 ti that i always seen mostly in blogs and youtube but for my small rig i use Palit GTX 1070 as of now i didn't experience any issue so for now i think if you want some suggestion i recommend MSI gtx1070ti.. than the GTX 1070ti armor that only made for gaming purposes..
I see Your point. Thanks. How can i know if RAM is Samsung or something else?
