We've received reports that this is not a legitimate conference and that Olivia Edwards does not exist.

Seems like a pretty dumb & pointless stat/article - 70% of bitcoin users earn less than 100k USD a year. I'm pretty sure if you walk into a normal bar & take a survey - 70% of people earn less than 100k USD a year. Just seems like people who earn 100k USD a year are sort of in the minority any way if you took a national average. Struggling to see why they've bothered running that story, most of the world is on less than 100k USD a year, that's a pretty decent salary Coindesk - You are running a shit article here **leaves** That was not the title of the article, but this forum thread.....

I'm not going to write anything for you but may I suggest that you should propose your websites to various websites like coindesk, coinbuzz and cointelegraph. They might be kind enough for a press release. I doubt they'll just give you a press release, you may need to pay and it since they're mainstream websites, they possibly going to cost a lot. It will generate a substantial amount of visitors to your website however, so look into that.
Hi We do not write press releases. A PR company does that and can send news to news@coindesk.comYou can't pay for a review on CoinDesk.com. Many thanks Keith

To the author of this article- you should seriously consider getting into a new line of work.
For what it's worth, the linked site is one of those "pay for an article" type websites, like CoinDesk. The "article" probably didn't cost WC more than 25 bucks. I take offence at this. CoinDesk is certain not a "pay for article" type website. You must be thinking of Buzzfeed: http://tktk.gawker.com/buzzfeed-deletes-post-critical-of-dove-a-buzzfeed-adve-1696852834

Yes, CoinDesk don't allow us to pay with Bitcoin for their new service. I don't think they must pay with Bitcoin for their employees but they must accept Bitcoin as payment method. I think they should be boycotted until they accept bitcoin. Paying your employees in bitcoin should at least be an option but not accepting them as payment for ads or whatever is ridiculous. Clearly they don't really care about bitcoin other than the money they can make off it. Hi - just to address some of these points. The self-serve ad platform does accept bitcoin - https://ads.coindesk.com/ As does Tinypass, which we use to sell Research. I'm working with the partner to get BTC payments on the deals store as soon as possible. Launching without support is disappointing in the short term, yes, but our input will enable more stores to be able to accept it once integration is complete. The goal was to launch with these payments, but a change in provider has delayed development their end. If sales go through the roof it will make an excellent case study for bitcoin payments, won't it?

Bitcoin payment is being worked on - switching payment providers is delaying it. It's not a case of 'just using bitpay'. The store is using a payment provider that has a bitcoin function which is just out of beta and requires coding time. Bitcoin is accepted for the Regulation Report and also advertising, so there is not great conspiracy here, whatever others may say. What kind of products do you want to see? Currently sourcing some cool bitcoin-related items.

I never realized how heavily censored the coindesk.com comment section was until tonight. Sadly, these new rulings will also affect countless merchants. For example, the nightclub that I wrote about last week will now be required to register as a money transmitter since it accepts payment in Bitcoin and converts the digital currency into cash tips for its staff. Deleted (no links or anything. lol) ^^^^^^^^^^^^Hmmm. Maybe I just have a conspiracy complex. Yeah, I think you do

Ya know what is funny? That Coindesk article has links to source docs for some of its assertions, but it does not reference any statement by USMS themselves about the results.
Are they just making stuff up? If not, why not disclose the source? It's not like they are the paragon of investigative reporting.
Was an email statement.
