1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: January 05, 2018, 07:25:57 PM
Anyone know if you can have a miner run as a scheduled task when the computer boots in windows 10 with the task scheduler?
not sure what miner you have.. but if you go to start.. then run.. type in shell:startup it will open a window.. if you put a shortcut in there.. to say start.bat from multipoolminer. it will run when the pc starts.
MultiPoolMiner is what I am trying to run on boot. The reason I am not doing the startup folder method is because I think those are only run after the user logs in and the task scheduler is able to run something without user logging in.
My computer rebooted the other night and was setting at the login screen without running the miner causing me to lose some time mining.

you can autologin btw.
I don't want to auto login unless you can make the computer stay locked.

if its a rig (not a computer you are using) remove the monitor and use a dummy plug
For now it is a computer I sometimes use.

This is by way of a question about miningpoolhub. (sorry if the answers are already available).

What is the minimum amount before payout?

What is the fee?

How long does it take to get paid?

I know it may depend on which coin, what rig and market etc.

Let's assume basic  GPU GTX 1050, Middle CPU and W10.

the minimum payout and fee for the payout depend on what coin you get paid out with.

you will find the minimum payout and the fee listed on the wallet section of each coin.

idk what the rest of your post is supposed to mean.

Where can I get more information on 'Confirmed' and 'Unconfirmed' balance? I keep trying to put my 'Credited for Auto Exchange' into 'Credited   '  via the left and right arrows but nothing is happening. The amount that is 'Credited for Auto Exchange' is the amount of my unconfirmed. I have my Auto Exchange set to the coin I am mining..not Bitcoin
Check this out he explained it very well in my opinion.

Zcoin: whats with the 0.01 fee for payout ? Any special reason ? Its enough to move all my cards out of MPH when I mine this coin.
Lowered to 0.001 XZC.
Actually 0.01 is default value for most new pools by template. I didn't adjust it.
I have paid the 0.01 XZC fee four times. Two times each on two accounts. Are you going to refund the people that paid the higher fee already?
The pool operator did nothing wrong that would make it necessary to issue a refund.
insane fee is certainly wrong to me. And btw why do you feel the need to defend his behavior ?
If you don't like the fee, either don't withdraw so often, or go to a different pool.  Either way, quit your whinging.
so you are fine with him asking 10 times the fees ? You obviously dont know how this pool works, or maybe you are just another pathetic fanboy ?
The fact that he reduced the fee says I was right to complain, wake up kiddo.
Oh, and Im already (partly) out of here, only 2 rigs left on MPH.
Right to complain yes. Right to ask for a refund no. I am not defending anyone's behavior. I am pointing out that it is un-reasonable to ask for a refund on fees that were posted for everyone to see like @jackbox did.
That is like filling up your tank of gasoline and asking the fueling station to refund part of your money because they lowered their prices afterwards.

Anyone use the auto profit successfully?  Is it worth it or questionable?
It is not. The auto profit switching and the PPLNS payment system are two things, that doesnt work together. It is just stupid to setup a multi algo auto profit switching pool with a PPLNS payment system...
The pool doesn't switch algo/coin until a block has been found. So there will be no loss of revenue from switching unless you or your Mining software decide to switch before the block is done. Let the pool pick the algo/coin.
I don't know if everyone here understands what PPLNS is but if you want what I thought was a very good description of PPLNS I found one here. http://give-me-coins.com/support/faq/what-is-pplns/
After reading it your should understand that PPLNS does hurt miner profits but makes it hard for pool hoppers to gain an advantage over consistent miners.

From the website "- Lowered ethereum withdrawal fee to 0.0009 ETH as ethereum network is stable than before.”
https://miningpoolhub.com
The operator has lowered the fees on ETH.

It would be great feature to be added (p.s if its readily not there) where we can see at one dashboard total money earned in term of USD on particular day. I think this will be beneficial to many many small time miner like me.
You can try this. It may have the info you want. https://github.com/jimok82/MiningPoolHubStats the API key only allows reading of information.
...

Awesome. This is what i was looking for..

Is that developed by you? If yes i have small feature request if you can add transaction history also in the view it would be great.
That is not developed by me.
I believe feature requests and bugs can be dealt with here. https://bitbucket.org/JaymZZZ/miningpoolhubstats/issues it seems that the author of the code has moved to bitbucket and closed his source code.

Is there a way where i can see pending transaction for auto conversion. I see many time that balances goes to zero for sometime and comes back again. It is very difficult to track exact amount of money earned in a day. Nicehash does this best but obviously do not want to go back to nicehash.

So the API key cannot allow someone to take your money. Read about the API on mining pool hub's github https://github.com/miningpoolhub/php-mpos/wiki/API-Reference if you are worried.

And your API key can be found on mining pool hub's edit account page https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=account&action=edit

Hello,

Guys, I've been using Miningpool for a while, along with aaronsace's miner.

How does it fare vs. the relaunched nicehash?

Do you lose a lot of value on auto-convert? What is a good coin to convert to? I currently auto-convert to ETH.

Also, i've noticed that my miner relaunches every couple mins (I can see that on small dips in temperature on Afterburner - cyclic - ever couple mins there's a dip from 65 degrees to 63 degrees lasting couple seconds). Is this normal?
His next release will have a setting to reduce the switching speed. But generally there is a problem if it literally happens every couple minutes.

I do not think you lose much in the auto exchange. I think the exchange fee is 0.2% which is reasonable to me.

I convert to LTC. But the best way to decide what payout coin you use is to look at the ones that your exchange accepts then find one that gets the pool gets blocks for often (at least once every hour). And make sure it has a low payout. I set my payout to be approximately my daily earnings. With LTC I end up losing less than $0.30 in transfer fees. I could go with some other coins with even lower fees but I would need to use a different exchange.

Managed to get everything running, although a bit confused on the excavator miner as it says it's logged in as aaronsace.multipoolminer - is this correct?

Might be the dev fee.  You can adjust that.  Did you put your username and worker name in the bat file?

So how do you expect him to pay for the servers and maintenance if he does everything for near free?  Try and find another pool with low rates that will pay what miningpoolhub will.  Previous pools that I used to use were 3% or higher that did what miningpoolhub did. Youre complaining about 1 dollar and ten cents out of 100 dollars.

I'm just a bit salty because I have some stuck BTC and can't move it because the withdrawl transaction fee would eat up about 80%, and there's no option to exchange it for another coin.

some of the tx fees are a tad high..

it costs almost 2$ (0.0017) to move eth out of your wallet.. a small miner, this could be a whole days worth of mining.. 0.0005 - 0.0008 should be plenty fee for eth.
but only 27c (.001) to move litecoin..

but charging .0008 (almost 11$) for bitcoin is really high.. id rather it take a week instead.. but people complain and they probably get annoyed of that.

I don't believe any profit is made on those fees.  It simply reflects the real cost of sending currencies.  Actually $11 seems kind of cheap.  At the moment, the average fee to get a bitcoin transaction confirmed in a timely manner is close to $20.  I certainly wouldn't want the fees to be reduced and then have to wait days for withdrawals.

why not?? id like to not have my days work wasted in fees.. i dont care when i get my bitcoin.. just as long as it shows up eventually.
If anyone does not like the big fees for BTC they need to switch to an altcoin for payout. I know it sux, but that is a problem with the BTC network. The average transaction fee is  >$40 right now https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html#3m and the median transaction fee is >$25 https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-median_transaction_fee.html#3m

So is the auto exchange busted?  ...
I can't afford to spend 12hours mining for the result to be 0.00254301 LTC lol Massive thanks if anyone can help (without the need to be a condescending douche about it*)
Also the pool operator will respond to emails if you think something is wrong with the pool. It does take him about a day to respond though. I have contacted him 2x by email and he responded in a helpful and respectful manner. His email is on the main Mining Pool Hub webpage
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 25, 2017, 12:50:31 PM
So is the auto exchange busted?  Huh I just left comp mining for 12+ hours with Nemosminer and going by the MPH dashboards for the coins I mined:
GRS - 0.01202602
XZC - 0.04434626
DGB - 0.02480298
XMCC - 0.00365553
GRS - 0.01202602
BTG - 0.00075413

I have the autoexchange in MPH set to exchange for LTC. I have huge chunks, if not the entire amounts of each coin missing from the MPH balances page. I calculated how much what I mined should be worth (minus BTG since its still sitting in credited for exchange column) in LTC by current market prices and should be 0.02694516 LTC give or take fluctuation/fee and thats not counting the BTG at all. Meanwhile, what I have is a whopping 0.00254301 LTC, with most of what I mined to exchange gone from Balances only showing in the last 24hr earned section of respective dashboards. Am I missing something here?

MPH Nemos Start BAT in case the problem is on my end:

powershell -version 5.0 -noexit -executionpolicy bypass -windowstyle maximized -command "&.\NemosMiner-v2.3.ps1 -SelGPUDSTM '0 1' -SelGPUCC '0,1' -Currency USD -Passwordcurrency LTC -interval 120 -Username MyUserName -Workername MyUserName.workername -Location US -PoolName miningpoolhub -Type nvidia -Algorithm lyra2z,equihash,Lyra2RE2,neoscrypt -Donate 5

**(I removed some algo after benchmark if you notice some coin above that doesn't have algo in Bat thats why)**

Yes, I'm somewhat new to this but trust when I tell you its been weeks of reading 200 page longs forum posts, consuming overwhelming amounts of info, compiling miners with no previous experience in any of this ect so I'm not trying to be a noob or have someone spoon feed me info ect, I'm non stop trying to figure this stuff out myself and learn as I go. I've asked for help on only 2 different issues elsewhere before this and both times was met with outright hostility, responses of don't even bother answering him, make him figure it out himself despite my spending all day every day reading and attempting to grasp all of this.  I'm just willing to bet there are people here way more knowledgeable on this stuff than I and currently I'm at a loss for what is going wrong. I can't afford to spend 12hours mining for the result to be 0.00254301 LTC lol Massive thanks if anyone can help (without the need to be a condescending douche about it*)
Did you check the [*edit]transaction section of each of those coins'? If you look there it should show you every single transaction that is pending including any transaction/pool fees.

Then check the transactions of the coin you are auto exchanging to.

When I first started mining at this pool I found out that the dashboard sucked pretty bad and gives you the impression that there is shady shit going on.

But after about 3 days the amounts earned in the last 24 hours for my auto exchange coin started adding up. I was getting about what I was getting from NiceHash before the hack.

Then about 2-3 more days later on about the 5th or 6th day of mining here I saw that my average 24 hour income here was exceeding what I had been getting from NiceHash by >25% per day.

I decided the crappy dashboard was something I could deal with. I also decided to change to LTC payouts because they are a much lower threshold for auto payout. And the TX fees are <$0.030.

Then when I switched I noticed the 24 hour average dropped off pretty hard 30-40% for a day or 2. Then again after 3-4 days the 24 hour average pick up again and there were some small amounts getting transferred into BTC still. It was a small enough amount that I just said F-it I will leave it.

Now for the last 2 weeks I have been mining with MPH and I have to say I am very satisfied with the income level. I will be staying for the foreseeable future.

My only 2 complaints are that
  • 1. The dashboard needs serious improvement.
  • 2. There needs to be a way to auto-exchange every coin on the pool.
*edit - changed "wallet section" to "transaction section"
