1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [WAC] Official WorldAidCoin Thread on: October 05, 2014, 09:33:12 PM
I've been trying to get a hold of the people running the Golden Egg game. There's no registration link on the main page that I can see. All I see is the sign in link at the top, and no matter what link I click on in the entire site, there's no place to register. Someone please help. Thank you for you time Smiley

Edit, nvm, apparently I was looking on the wrong site? Either way, I found their registration through going to the link on their actual WAC page.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient POC Mining | New version 1.1.3 on: October 02, 2014, 02:27:00 AM
Is there a stable merge plot tool and/or plot optimization tool to change the stagger size?

BURST at 61 on Cryptsy, need more voters!!! Cheesy
How about a link or instructions for those of us (like myself) that are not familiar with the exchange?

You have to be registered to the exchange. I have a referral link in my sig if you want to use that to register.

Once you've registered, you can go vote on this link: https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes

Thank you, I was AFK. Had to go get food from the store Cheesy

I think what needs to be done first and foremost is a more user-friendly wallet and miner. People are having ENTIRELY too many problems with both. 632 pages on this ANN, and the majority of the content is about pool problems, mining issues, and wallet issues. Do people not understand that this is one of the first places that investors go to find out information about the coin they're thinking of investing in? Literally HUNDREDS of pages in this ANN shouldn't technically exist here, they should be on the Burst coin forum, under technical issues or something. FFS people, I want this coin to win, and you're scaring all the potential big fish away!! NO amount of features, or services, or promotions, or any kind of PR, are going to help this coin if setting up the mining is too difficult or if too many people can't get their damn wallet to work properly. This coin could be beautiful....the perfect wave on a perfect day man. The first HDD mineable coin, the third coin to ever offer mining on a different piece of hardware. The only other 2 I know of is Bitcoin and Litecoin, CPU and GPU mining. You guys have something extraordinary here. Be extraordinary!! And for the love of God, or whichever deity you may worship, PLEASE stop scaring the damn fish away!! lol Thank you for your time, and happy trading everyone! Shadey out. Cheesy

a72d2ebbe9be402d77405dece11f56af37d54595, <---This be my trade key on Cryptsy. For those who wish to see BURST get added to the Cryptsy markets, but don't want to take the time to vote, feel free to throw me down some Cryptsy points or something at the trade key above and I will use them to vote. It's 5 votes/1 Cryptsy point, according to Cryptsy. I'd really like to see this coin on there. Please vote, we're up to 51 votes so far!!! Happy Trading everyone Cheesy

You see this is why burst will succeed as a altcoin... who the hell can compete with this?

http://www.rhinoceroslabs.com/index.php/solutions/scrypt-asic-miner-rl4

Thats a scam. Seriously, would you buy $55k worth of equipment from someone having a CPU as a picture instead of an ASIC? Also selling warehouse robots, and all of a sudden decided to make an ASIC.
And 5 Gh for 9W... Really...

I'm pretty sure that if you told someone ten years ago that you could fit a 2.5ghz quad-core in your pocket with a screen and a battery to last the whole day, they would've laughed at you. But anyway, I'm not investing Wink. I don't know about scam or not, but the risk is too high.

@fanepatent: "9 kW/H of power from the wall", it says 9W/H there, But don't know if that's like MH, or GH, or KH, and I do agree with you about not trusting it/buying it. Just wanted to point that all out lol

Yeah.. it isnt a scam. sorry to rain on the parade lol   http://cointelegraph.com/news/112610/industrial-scale-manufacturer-rolls-out-5ghs-asic-scrypt-miner-ceo-there-is-still-room-for-increasing-hashpower

That's not raining, thank you for that. I love being proven wrong, with the actual facts put in front of me, when I'm actually wrong about something Cheesy

If you look at the graph on cryptsy for BitcoinDark, and press the "ALL" key, you can easily see that BitcoinDark has gone nowhere but up the ENTIRE time it's been there. Clearly, BitcoinDark has some pretty damn good potential. People that hate on that obviously don't know what they're talking about. They need to be ignored, as they are only here to try and bring however many people they can down to their level with them so they're not the only ones missing out in the end lol.

i prefer fundamentals

You don't see the pattern going on?

Edit: It's been like a staircase of profit the whole time lol

Is teleport being worked on right now?

if so, is it safe to expect to see a beta or working teleport this month?
after I get some dinner

yes
sorry, I didnt get a chance for dinner had to spend 1hr+ to answer an accusatory who was calling my assets a ponzi and other unethical behavior

I am now in no mood for coding

no teleport work till tomorrow

The bigger supernet becomes, the more trolls and fudsters that will arrive. If you are going to answer every one, that will consume all your time.
at worst it is a 2 week delay

Ok. i think the procurement of a beta Teleport will reduce the negative noise. i myself have slipped from a very pro-BTCD stance to a much more neutral ground, due to the lack of Teleport. of course, i understand to an extent (having never arranged an ICO myself, cannot fully comprehend the work involved) how hectic Supernet has been. answering hundreds of questions and ensuring a level of fairness in distribution must be draining. i am just hoping to see evidence that teleport will actually work because as of now, it is incomplete. i can't read code so until i can use it myself i will remain neutral. as an investor it would be unwise of me to not hedge the risk that teleport might not work as planned.

i wish more people would take this stance rather than attacking jl777 and spreading FUD or blindly supporting because they profited some coin with the recent rise in price of jl777 related investments

i will wait and see what happens. best of luck to jl, for he is undertaking a substantially large project

Anyone know who we get a hold of to talk about the official pool? The first day, I had wayyyy less avg hashrate (It being at like 704 kh), but I made wayyy more btcd with the lower hashrate than I did the second day with a higher hashrate (it was at an avg of 4.4 mh the second day). I thought it was scamming me, so I quit mining on it and was waiting for the last of my unconfirmed shares to come through and see what they paid me, but now my 300k+ shares are gone and it shows nothing at all for the previous shifts I worked. Someone please help. Thank you for your time Smiley

Edit: If someone could point me in the direction of a working multipool for this coin, as it seems that neither of the two pool on the main page of this thread are working right for me, it would be greatly appreciated Smiley

I'm on vacation, but email btcdinfo at xpool.ca with your miner address and I'll check.

So, just to be clear, your complaint is that the first day your hash rate was lower than it should, but you made way more BTCD then you thought you would? Then the next day was proper hash rate but less than you made the one shift prior? then you quit mining? What do you suppose the average would be??

2 shifts have no real bearing on anything. Markets go up and down and so will your payments.

A number of ill performing coins were removed so sounds like your shares were from those coins. Nothing to be done about that.

Cheers!

Well, the first day, with an avg hashrate of 704kh, I made .21 btcd. The second day, with an avg hashrate of 4.4mh, I made .075 btcd. So i stopped mining to see what it would pay out with just the 300k+ shares I had left on the site, but when I type in my addy on the site, it looks like I've never mined there at all now, meaning that it doesn't even show my previous shifts that were paid out anymore. I was mining with the x11 algo btw

All history is preserved. You can see from my miner stats:

http://btcd.xpool.ca/miner?worker=RDTVREbjF5JeyteiHd9Q6Q5hJRgEnuwrkV

Goes back to July 19th. When did you mine?

I started mining literally like 2-3 days ago. And it no longer shows an option for 'My Miner', just 'My Shifts'.

Edit, this is mine http://btcd.xpool.ca/miner?worker=%20RDPaPLFFUa84RQpEq5MyZpvCrzcHi3MVsa

That's not a proper URL. Here is the correct address:

http://btcd.xpool.ca/miner?worker=RDPaPLFFUa84RQpEq5MyZpvCrzcHi3MVsa

Your cut/paste must have grabbed extras

Yeah I noticed yours was different, so I took out that %20 in front of my addy and it's showing up now, but do those payouts look right to you?

Yeha, someone threw a large amount of hashrate at the pool so you're proportions were drastically reduced along with conspiracycoin being a problem again for a few hours.

It should all even itself out. The thing is, to get consistency you need to go 100% for 3-4 shifts.

Ok cool, well if everything looks copasetic to you, then I will just continue mining on the site, sorry for any troubles I may have caused for your vacation. Also, can I use my btc block errupters on the sha-256 side? lol Cheesy

use whatever you can get your hands on! I do Wink

Ok cool, well thank you again, and enjoy your vacation Cheesy
