I don't know but you know, now my mindset's like "Come on whales lets jack the network hashrate up to 1 GB/s so that the rewards will be even more close to 0 XMG." Maybe then those whales might FINALLY GET LOST.

Sorry, I'm really getting pissed with only getting 0.05 XMG for 2 consecutive days.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] MAGI | CPU mining | mPoW | mPoS | [MagiPay] on: January 08, 2018, 12:55:47 PM
Whatever you might say, at this rate it becomes pointless for small miners; I really like this coin and I've been involved since the first day, but things have changed a lot ever since... I've tried mining it for a day with ~400kh/s and all i got is 0.28xmg , so i guess it's really time to move on...  Sad
Any suggestion for a good CPU coin ??

Well it's pointless for the whales at this reward level too... right?!

Whales are not going to waste hashes on super small rewards for very long.  It would make a lot more money for a whale to switch to Monero at this point.  And it will happen.  Be patient.

theses whale ppl dont care they are earning up to 3 - 5xmg a day.

worse thing is some of the whales are ppl in this very xmg forum!!!!!!!!

that what pisses me off the most!!

while we little ppl are barely earning 0.2xmg a day

the coin has been killed and no one is doing anything about it.

time to find another cpu coin

LOL. 0.2XMG little? You've got to be kidding me. I'm getting 0.04XMG in total for the last 14 hours of work.

Payout for the past many mining blocks have all been around 0.3XMG...Is that not a little bit too low?

This happens from time to time.

Lots of new miners with a "Bitcoin" mentality of throw everything at it for more coins. which backfires on them.
They spend 8h-12h throwing more power at it to try and get more coin and they see the rewards dropping, so they throw more power at it... (they can't link the "cause and effect" of more power = less coin).

Until they realise they have wasted a wad-load of electricity costs for very little return and rage-quit in the forum... Cheesy

Give it a few hours to even things out. once the big hitters get bored and move on the numbers will get back to some sort of normal...

Man, I certainly hope so. Those people are really spoiling the mining field for everyone else.

I see a number of people on CoinMagi pool that's more than the stated 250kh/s...why are those ppl not getting kicked or banned?

Erm...Can anyone help me on enabling staking? I've put "staking=1" and "posii=1" (with out the " ") in the magi.conf but the wallet still shows not staking (only those 2 commands were input)... Can someone help me on where I've gone wrong? Thanks.

Have you specifically unlocked your wallet for staking?

magid walletpassphrase YOUR_PASSWORD 9999999 true

Yup, I have unlocked the wallet through the client by inputting the passphase. The command "magid walletpassphrase YOUR_PASSWORD 9999999 true" doesn't seem to be working when I put it in the conf file. It's still showing up as not staking. Do I have to input all the other stuff like rpcuser, rpcpassword, rpcport, server, listen, rpcallowip, addnode?

Hi everyone, I'd like to check how to import verge paper wallets when one is using the windows GUI 3.0 version (not electrum) wallet? I've been looking but don't seem to see that option around.

Em...Anyone, anyone at all able to help me on this? I've got a paper wallet and the 3.0 windows desktop wallet, but I'm not able to find where I can import addresses or private keys into the desktop wallet. Anyone able to give insight on this? Thanks in advance.

go into help, then debug console, and then type: importprivkey privatekeygoeshere

Thank you so much.

Hm...Verge's goes by network hash rate, and not by pool hash rate? I find that my pool's hash rate being constant, but the Verge coins I'm getting (and percentage I'm doing) is wayyyyy lower than 2-3 days before. Difficulty's just being jacked up and up, and it's unanimous among different pools (I know cos I've just checked).

Em....Can I just check if the last payout for Sunday has passed? 'Cos I checked and didn't really see a payout and so am wondering if the last payout hasn't happened yet (below's my balance).

Min balance is 0.002 (was 0.0025 for a couple weeks) for "Sunday" payouts...which now can happen a few times a week so they may not happen on Sunday anymore.

i think minimum payout is .0024ish

Wow! Okay, 'cos I checked at the helpdesk and it gave a value of 0.0015...I guess the helpdesk wasn't updated then?

Thanks kaptkrunch. Thanks Lercker.

Hm...I was trying to connect to mine Magi 1-2 days ago. I could still connect during the morning, but when I closed off cmd and reopened cmd again just about 1 hr later, the server kept giving me the message "stratum_subscribe send failed". Tried with some other pool (that was not m7m) and my miner was connecting, so doesn't seem to be the miner problem. I guess that's when the system got attacked maybe...

Hi, I just wanna check if anyone's mining m7m on zpool? I'm having trouble connecting to the server, keeps saying "stratum_subscribe send failed". Is it just me or is the pool having some issues? I've tried connecting to xevan on zpool and it seems that there wasn't any connection problems for xevan...

Hi guys,

Can you help me out with this? Been getting this error since last night. It switched from neoscrypt and then this happens. Had idle hours because of this error. Thank you.

Yup, I've also been having this "stratum subscribe" error with zpool starting an hour or 2 ago. Something wrong with zpool again?

Hi, anyway I can change the thread number?

cpuminer-gw64-corei7.exe -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://yescrypt.mine.zpool.ca:6233 -u 17g2APRaoDz17mM4Vw9R1hSR6juVnKXGrk -p c=BTC -t=3

I'm trying to set the thread numbers lower, but it seems that no matter which number I set to, it will still come out the default (meaning full number) of threads.

Thanks.

Can anyone help me on this? I'm really lost.

PS: Ignore the sol/s values, I was doing something else and it lagged the mining process.

The server sets a pretty high difficulty so it will take some time (on average) to find a share especially with the low solution rate you have.

Hm...But my actual sol/s is about 490-500 actually (I was double opening 2 miners at that time, hence the 170-230 sol/s rate). I've tried using MPH, and it worked perfectly fine.

Maybe there is an issue with dtsm and the zpool stratum ? also what cmdline do you use to start it ?

Have tried using zm.exe --server equihash.mine.zpool.ca  --port 2142 --user 17g2APRaoDz17mM4Vw9R1hSR6juVnKXGrk --pass x --telemetry 127.0.0.1:2222 --time

Both were the same, didn't returned any shares.

there's been issue's with the zpool stratum server try a different pool see if that fixes your problems
