1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Created my first DApp, Nebulagram.com. Sends you free NAS to send a message on: May 27, 2018, 02:57:19 AM
Hi all,
Created my first DApp on the Nebulus blockchain. The site sends you free NAS to use as gas, and lets you send a message on the Nebulus blockchain.

If you have a second, would really appreciate if you could try it and let me know if you have any feedback.

Thank you!

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XBY] XtraBYtes Speculation on: May 25, 2018, 04:19:40 AM
You are probably either:
A. A troll
B. A fool for investing a project he doesn't believe in
C. Trying to get the price lower

A : Legitimate questions isn't trolling.
B : This coin wasn't this way last year. CCR actively engaged the community, now he's abandoned it. Same with Borzalom. Developers are left in the dark as well.
C : Price is already low.

Do you know what the "Field of dreams fallacy" and "Sunken cost fallacy" are? They apply very well here cryptoyacht.

I debated with people since December that this is a form of scam. It may not have started out on day 1, Borz said "this was an experiment." But CCRev and friends marketed past what they had, and what they will likely ever have. Borz/CCRev can't stop the train now, and it's on it's way to meeting the demise it always had. The signs were there in December, when right after I joined, CCRev is MIA over Christmas when they are supposedly targeting EOY 2017 for the final testnet. Then right before EOY he comes on with the Patent and Registration excuse. Then the Seychelles. Then the April "hope the patent is done."(and I love the March On The Pulse where CCRev said the FUD is probably due to "whales manipulating" or "haters", being tone def). Then the shift in focus to "it'll be done when it's done" and CCRev refusing to talk with the community since April. It's been obvious to anyone who has been financially misled before or aware of the project, that this is exactly what this is. It's Borz's 4th coin, when the other 3 also failed to take off. But the community relies on a wave of new investors who don't know any better or people who haven't been misled before. Either it was an outright scam from the beginning, or they got in over their head and couldn't stop the train from moving forward. Almost positive they'll never be where they marketed themselves. They can't speak with the investors because they have nothing they can speak about.

Now I've mostly likely stopped dialoguing with people about it nearly as much, because most people are catching on, and there is enough info out there that anyone who does their research should be aware. However, you do have these updates from the community team which make it look like their is progress (although many of the mods will admit it's still a thing of faith - but then half of them will start comparing it to ETH fud or that all crypto is faith, or Satashi Borzamoto was also anonymous - a bunch of false equivalences). Which in fairness, the community team is awesome and are making progress. It's just built on a house of cards because the lack of a mainnet that will do what has been promised. It may come in some form, but it's way behind at the absolute best case, but more likely will never get their at all.

Investors should get out now, while there is still a chance of recouping something. It may have a couple pumps if a patent is announced (anything can be sent to patent pending really - and even if it is, be confident of another mysterious delay or ambiguity). But ultimately it's 99% a dead coin.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HST][ICO] Horizon State - Decision Token - voting platform - sale over on: March 05, 2018, 02:11:07 AM
yep! likely this week will be listed on a top 5 exchange according to the admins. We know they did the standard application for binance (not contest, actual application) in January. We don't know which exchange, but they confirmed it's a top 5 one. From all reports, very likely this week, or within next two weeks (as early as tomorrow).

HST has flown somewhat under the radar. I'm going to do a informational post tomorrow so more are aware of it and what's coming for it. I'm expecting the value to increase starting tomorrow (can't predict the future of course, but based off what i've seen in the past)
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Horizon State is stable at a low mcap 50% of its pre-dip AND a big upcoming week on: January 20, 2018, 09:25:55 PM
After the recent dip, I've consolidated 90% of my portfolio only to coins with real-world use cases or significantly undervalued that I believe in and would feel good holding during a similar dip (WTC, NAS, HST).

A lot of coins (and all my other holdings) have been increasing today, but Horizon State has flown low (pre-dip around 5.80/180 million market cap! Currently around ~3.02/96 million mcap) - especially in the light of a strong upcoming two weeks. Listing a high-level of what HST is, and why it has a pretty strong next two weeks and future.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What it is Horizon State (HST) is the first-mover in utilizing block-chain for voting and decision making. With the recent news regarding fraud and security concerns in voting and the recent crypto-awareness, blockchain is a natural and obvious solution providing transparency and reducing both fraud and voting cost (reportedly from ~7 dollars/vote to $0.50/vote estimated). Voting is one of the most natural and obvious use cases for blockchain today outside of the highly-saturated currency use cases. With crypto-currency becoming mainstream, it's a use case ripe for media attention going forward as it paints an easily consumable picture.

Who is Horizon State Horizon State was spun out of Australia-based MiVote, a company targeting improving democratic elections by simplifying and making voting decisions less binary and more engaging. Elected senators associated with MiVote will use user decisions for their own policy voting. Once MiVote realized what they had in their blockchain solution, and its broader applicability to voting and decision making, Horizon State was formed as its own separate company. MiVote still uses HST as it's foundational ledger and blockchain, so as MiVote continues to grow (chapters around the global, just announced starting trials with India and Belgium soon) the token price of HST has an additional avenue of appreciation outside of its token mechanics.

Token Mechanics Horizon State's token mechanics are novel, and directly aid the appreciation over time. 1 HST token does not equal 1 vote (tokens are divisible - so if a token cost $25 in the future, it won't cost $25 for a vote). Nor will voters be purchasing tokens off the market. Horizon State works with clients (organizations, governments, businesses, etc.) and provides a flat rate based on the clients total vote size (for example, 3 million). HST purchases the tokens off the market, for utilization in the vote. After the vote, 8% of the utilized coins will be burned for additional market appreciation. More info on the token mechanics can be found here: https://medium.com/horizonstate/horizon-state-token-mechanics-104af1dd26bd

Target markets Horizon States target market is anyone from governments, NGO's, enterprises, and organizations. Voting and decision making are extremely common, yet expensive practices in not only governments, but organizations and corporate enterprise.

Even though governments are a perfect fit and a target for HST, a lot of the near-term win is organizations (for example, HST has an association with a United Nations NGO via MiVote) and enterprises. CEO Jamie Skella recently stated that the issue now is that there has been so much interest they are in the situation of almost having too much interest from partnerships/customers than their current state requires (https://www.smartcompany.com.au/startupsmart/news-analysis/voting-blockchain-startup-horizon-state-locks-partnership-united-nations-gears-partnerships/).

 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What's upcoming/Why it's undervalued

What you're probably looking for is here. However, while crypto is volatile, I'd recommend digging into the above detials if you haven't. Otherwise you'll end up like me who picked up a couple coins I didn't believe in pre-dip and pulled out when the market dipped as I wasn't confident enough in their value to hold. I lost money on those coins, but with HST I believe in the project so I doubled down and put more money in. Check out the Telegram (state[/url])- it's pretty meme free and most of the token holders are there for the long term because of the utility and promise it has in the marketplace/society.

Here are a few upcoming events and catalysts for the next few weeks that will provide great exposure going forward:

• January 23-25th: Demo at the World Economic Forum in Davos - via MiVote. Huge event in Switzerland (Trump just announced he's attending - not advocating for Trump by that statement : )). This is via an association with a United Nations NGO.

• January 23rd: Presenting to an international delegation alongside Microsoft and Mastercard at the GovPay conference in Jakarta.

• January 25th: Ian Balina and Nuggets News join the Horizon State Community Meetup in Melbourne.

• February 7th-11th: CEO Jamie Skella will be presenting at Pausefest (http://www.pausefest.com.au/).

• Horizon State has applied to a major exchange and are waiting on confirmation if and when they'll be listed (currently listed on Kucoin, Crytopia, Coinspot, Etherdelta (use at own risk) and LiveCoin).

Encourage you to do your own research, join the telegram and dig in. But in the space with thousands of currency coins and several supply chain coins, Horizon State fits an underserved and obvious target market that will gain plenty of political and global exposure in the years to come.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Viberate on: January 12, 2018, 09:00:09 PM

?

Does viberate have a shill campaign on going? Been seeing a lot of "you have to check out viberate" comments." Not really sure why it is or isn't needed. Looks like a music coin from the main page. None of these pro-Viberate comments say why it should be considered
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping: on: January 12, 2018, 05:40:54 PM

Reasons why #Bitcoin is droping:

- Not a single rebrand since 2009
- No "huge news" or "strategic partnerships"
- Not enough airdrops
- Not enough PhD graduates on the team
- Team not doing bounties...
- Logo is not cool
- Satoshi is not being communicative

This was tweeted by person named Crypto Rand, what do you think about his tweet . I think these reasons always exit but Bitcoin is still very expensive, I would like to know your thoughts on this

This sounds more like a joke on the state of the alt coin market. Logo/bounties/communication/phd grads/etc
