The new version of XDAG wallet (0.4.0) has been officially released.  XDAG's community members can try to download 0.4.0 wallet with this link : https://github.com/XDagger/goXdagWallet/releases0.4.0 the wallet has been adjusted in terms of design style, adding functions such as QR code, transfer address record, conditional searching transfer details, improving compatibility and user experience. XDAG RebrandingAs we enter a new phase of development, a member of the community with a certain talent for graphic design has proposed to create a new identity for us as well as a redesign of our publication media (website/social media…). There are 6 distinct logos that you can consult in the attached pdf, the first being a rebranding of our current logo, accompanied by 5 other proposals.  XDAG Fork for RandomX deploymentAs warned some days ago, RandomX will go live on our mainnet on main block 1540096 February 22nd 2021, 15:00 UTC . There will be no changes or manipulations to be made for the users, only the mining pools are concerned. We will come back to you with an update of the wallets shortly. Mining changesAs you all know, this change of algo was long overdue to counter the big miners who were taking over the network. From now on, anyone can mine XDAG, even from his or her desktop computer. This opens up a wide field of possibilities for mining, and we hope to convince the mining communities of Monero and Firo to join us to strengthen our network. Still on the go!! Thanks to KBS1 for all work he made this last month with the team. Very glad to work with people who share the same vision. We have now several tests made on our network to apply all changes made recently. We'll have some fresh news soon about storage and other things. Also, we started to reach some exchange to being listed on, not an easy task as we are not pushed by a company with huge bags of BTC, but anyway, one by one, we'll got them !!! Sorry to not being here more... we know its a central place for crypto marketing, but you also knows its not our main concern.i'll try to come in a few with some technical info. Cheers |

What a strange project!
By now, more than one year after its beginning, there are only two available exchanges, which only allow Chinese users.
No surprise. It's born in China and maintained by Chinese.  We are a community driven project, so you can find more than only some Chinese people in there. Actually, we have 3 main dev, 1 Italian, 1 Russian and 1 Chinese one. But it's true that we have a bigger community in China than everywhere else. Also it's true that for now we have only a few exchanges who have added us and all are Chinese, but it's not our responsibility... We were earlier this year on the way to create an XDAG Foundation, supported by some Chinese people, but their ideology and vision were not shared by most of us. Why is Dagger available on exchanges only to Chinese users? And why is it still not on coinmarketcap?
As mentioned before, there is not only Chinese customers exchange available for now. BBX.com Fexpro.io and vbitex.com allow worldwide customers. About coinmarketcap, we need to be at least on 2 exchange supported by them, we hope to be displayed on their site after a few time when our releases 0.3.1 will be out. Thanks for your interest. |
