Hello long time no see, I wonder how many of your copies of, for example, passport, ID or driver's license have been handed over to exchanges with all the data on it Because a citizen service number or tax number can still do some illegal business and damage your life. they force us to make a perfect copy without watermark or an adaptation of a citizen service number and sent it to a 3rd party who will view and save these documents and nobody knows where and who that is and under what laws they have to work. my english not too good but i hope you understand what i mean. Goldlabel The good ones are registered with their local governments and use government authorized 3rd party providers to Authenticate your ID. If you join an exchange In the E.U. (Nova Exchange for example) all your info should be protected under EU laws and data protection regulations.

Quiet in here these days Hope everyone is having a good holiday so far! Been off line for ages (Downside of moving to a house with no internet and terrible mobile signal!!) my Pi-miners been off-line for 2 months.

One silver lining in all this... Drop off of miners and a fluctuating Net Hashrate means it's producing some large payouts cycles! Looking at last few days, rewards increasing again... In that way it's mission accomplished. Big hashers now leaving as there isn't any profit for them. That was the way XMG was developed. But seriously, do hope this project is getting back on tracks and return to where it was few months ago. I'm going down with this ship if it goes... Same here It's not costing me much to keep my rpi's running.

Tried to approach Bittrex and will tell what I can get from them.
I can imagine their reply, if any, as according to their policy they do not have to provide one. Something like: "Dear Joe, your average volume for the past 6 months is 0.1 BTC per day and we also haven't seen any roadmap updates, new features or any other kind of update during 2018. Good luck in your future endeavors!" Actually Bittrix have been willing to work with low volume coins in not de-listing if the Developers are responsive enough to Bittrix communications and have an active community. If not, I'm sure the other exchanges will welcome the extra volume...

Now THAT was a long day of compiling from source... Finally got one of the new rpi3+ Had to find a 64bit OS that supported this version of the PI3 which took hours. once I got that installed and running I tried to copy over my pre-built cpuminer to do a few benchmarks my Pi3+ didn't recognise the cpuminer executable as a valid file So tried to compile it from the github source... it failed... bit of searching and I found out that the rpi3+ has problems with the default version of gcc. Found a script to compile a more recent gcc (8.2.0) and after starting up a swapfile and pointing the script to an external SSD I ran the script on the pi3+ ... ... ... 10 HOURS LATER and quickly fitting a fan and heatsink while running to keep it from throttling!!!! ...It finally finished compiling I grabbed a clean pull of cpuminer from github and it finally compiled with no errors!!... I'm off to bed now as it's nearly 3am and I'm very tired...

I made some file and put it into startup folder. Inside is:
C:\m-wallet-1.4.6.2-win\bin\64\magid.exe walletpassphrase mypassphrase 9999999 true
It autostarts, but then writes something like "error connecting to server" and exiting. What's wrong?
it might be best to start the wallet first, then wait a few seconds then run your unlock command. I've noticed it can take a bit of time for the wallet to start and accept commands.

Hi all,
My health is going in the right direction. Looks like Magi could use more promotions. I will see what i can do about it.
Very good, welcome back! Thanks The Frisian Glad to see you're back Side note, Just noticed that the number of blocks being found has dropped off by nearly 50% in the past week. We usually get over a thousand blocks per day. But for the past week we've been getting 600 to 500 per day. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/#!overview

Last year there were around 20000 XMG wallets, now there are more than 40000 XMG wallets. Last year the forum messages grew with one page a day, now almost one message a week.
What's up? Certainly not the price, that's really a bargain. This is the right time to start as a new supporter/investor of Magi.
I was thinking the same thing today - seems to be pretty quiet on here - I'm sure when the price turns around the post frequency will increase too Happens all the time in Forums. People only post when they have problems... Picked up a couple of hundred XMG today when it dipped down to 930. (would have got it at 910 but was out an about. It took an age to buy/sell on my phone and missed the lowest point.) So that's me happy for now...

Magi has a unique blockreward system. the coin seems to be working as it was intended. it only makes the coin stronger! just give it a little time.
Yeah - we just need to (shake/hold) out this bear market - Lots of coins are at lows right now When you want cheap Magi, i'm afraid you're now too late. (me too, I wanted a few at 900) Urgh i know!! No spare cash or coins for the past few weeks. I suddenly get some to invest and what happens!

Among my 6 devices, I'm crunching 100 kH/s. Would it be better for my wallet to solo mine all six, or pool mine them?
Think it roughly works out that you need you need at least 700-500kH/s for a pool to be worth the hassle of setting up and running and that should get you at least a block a day. With less than 300kH/s, a pool would be better use of your devices.

The value of this coin is getting lower and lower
soon the coins i got will be worth nothing.
really is this how is going to end up
also in the past few weeks i have gotten over 20 invalid generated coins transactions.
Looks like there is more supply than demand right now, wonder how we can reverse that. Somebody else mentioned about a few invalid coins yesterday - I'm staking fine, the chain seems to be moving and the number of orphaned blocks doesn't seem too high, wonder if its a wider problem or just unlucky. Are you solo mining? nope i'm not solo mining at all. from the 1st of Aug. i have gotten 25 invalid generated coins transactions just from staking. I've noticed that staking has slowed down the past few days from under a day to just over 2 days between stakes. Orphans haver jumped up as well in the same time in the pool i'm in (50% orphans out of the last 10 blocks found). Hope it's just a temp thing and nothing more sinister

Anyone having connection issues?
My wallet has been going out-of-sync a lot the past 12 hours or so. No named connections in magi.conf and "listen=1" is set. But I'm only getting 2 to 3 connections.
Saying that my internet connection has been spotty this week. I've had to reboot my router and PC a few times the past couple of days.
Might just be issues at my end.
I'll keep an eye on it over the weekend, see if my internet connection and wallet settles down...
Staking is working fine for me - so all good at this end, hope things are working better for you now Thanks, As I suspected it was my connection. Seen the engineers working on the lines yesterday, had a few more connection drops, but been rock solid since then. Hate living with relatively cruddy internet access

isn't there any way to know if it will be delisted?... like come on, any insider that could tell us before going to 0 sats
Recently Bittrix has became more "business like" when it comes to de-listing. They rarely de-list a coin/Wallet without giving at least 2-4 weeks warning (Time for investors to get their funds out, if possible, before it's de-listed,) Unless their is a urgent (legal?!?) reason to do it immediately. They have a semi-regular monthly list of coins that are about to be de-listed : https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/sections/200560334-Coin-Removals.

Hi All,
Anyone else have problems on minerclaim? i haven't had a Unconfirmed balance in 3-4 days, i haven't changed anything on my miners, and i can see on my account (Dashboard) that i'm hasing and my XMG Est. Earnings is going up and down.
But nothing is showing up in the My Account - Transactions menu.
They had issues with the backend. It seems to be fixed now
