This forum has been around for almost a third of my life. I wonder what my life would've been like without it. This isn't just about my moderator position or signature campaigns or other money making opportunities either. This place provides a chance for free speech that doesn't exist anywhere else. Those who have tasted authoritarian regimes will understand better what I mean.

Capitalism has never been a good system at any point in human history. Mixed economies have always produced better results. The capitalist system widens the class divide within society. One group keeps getting richer while another keeps getting poorer. In the end, the system eliminates the middle class and causes a wealthy minority to rule over a poor majority. Capitalism has never been the ideal system described in books, because of human nature it never will be.

Atletico Madrid didn't start this season well. They were losing against Rayo, but they managed to turn the game around. Julian Alvarez shone like a real star. They have Real Madrid derby coming up in three days, they boosted their morale before that game. I don't think they have much chance of challenging for the top two this season but they won't want to give up too early either.
Diego Simeone has been managing this team for years, perhaps it's truly time for a change. This topic has been seriously discussed in recent months. This could really be his last season.

After falling for 3 days Bitcoin once again tested the 112k level today. August is almost over. If it makes a move at the end of the month and closes in green, that would be good. Otherwise for the first time in 4 months it will close in red. That means Bitcoin needs to close above 115.7k and I'm optimistic about that.
