The question is, do people outside DGC communing know what is comming?
Honestly, I think this is the biggest issue the DigitalCoin community has. DGC has some of the strongest fundamentals of any alt-coin out there: An extremely active developer, a smart economy/inflation rate, fast transaction times, an extremely fair start with no-instamine or premine, a very active community of die-hard supporters, a USD exchange with an integrated payment gateway that's about to start, very strong third party developer support (ex. the mywl.lt online wallet, the Dub lightweight client, CoinMart, etc), among other things. The only thing this community needs to improve on is PR/marketing. I think if we can manage to improve on that DGC has a real shot at becoming a top-tier crypto-currency alongside LTC, BTC, & PPC.

ShimalH really did some incredible work with this client. From both a design and functionality perspective it blows every other alt-coin client I've seen out of the water. The DGC blockchain loads in a fraction of the time of the "full" client, and I really like the ability to load multiple wallet.dat's into the client. Without a doubt this will be my primary DGC client from here on out.
Thanks for all your hard work, this is truly a game-changer for DGC!

Please tell me you did notice that the network hash dropped from 5.9 mhash during hour 1, to .48 mhash hour 2. I was there the minute DGC got launched, and there was no premine. There can be several reasons why the network hashrate dropped for an hour, if my memory serves me right i was getting a lot of orphan blocks during hour 2, because the blocks i found during hour 2 were still the same blocks as found during hour 1. The block generation got overrun in hour 1, because a LOT of people were mining it, and we paid for it in hour 2. After that, everything went back to normal. There is no premine, now shush lol, do you have the minimum knowledge of how the p2p coin works? If it has a lot of orphans because a lot people joined mining, you don't see the block rate drop, instead you will see block rate increase because of instamining and you will see the hashrate increase big time. You actually see this after hour 3. Have you ever heard a lot hashpower joined and the block rate actual declined? Go check the 96 hour curves for all other coins and find me one which behaved like this: http://cryptometer.orgAre you in your dream? What a joke, when people make up things. The facts are shown in the 96 hour charts: http://cryptometer.org/digitalcoin_96_hour_charts.htmland I put some comments for those innocent children to understand in the below diagram. BTW, more people here defending DGC does not change the facts. Facts are facts, it's simple. I really didn't want to hijack Hazard's thread over all of this, but seriously, check out the blockchain yourself. I'll even link the relevant info for you. Here is a link to "digitalcoin 1," from the block explorer. It has a value of 2 DGC, and was the first mined DGC block. Note its time stamp of 09:57:27 AM(UTC).http://dgc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block/45b2559dbe5e5772498e4170f3f1561448179fa90dd349e60e891766878dea2eNow, here is the post that launched DGC. Note the time stamp of 09:55:53 AM (UTC), a full minute an a half prior to "digitalcoin 1" being mined. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=209508.msg2208685#msg2208685Look for yourself, not through the lens of someone else's crawler. Of course, I've told and shown you all of this before, so I get the feeling you may know it to be true and just have a vested interest in spreading FUD.

Designing and implementing a payment processor is no small task. There's a tremendous amount of work that goes into making absolutely sure that everything is secure and safe to use for the end-user. That being said, CryptoAve is currently in development and will provide payment processing for LTC (along with BTC, DGC, SRC and ARG). It's still several weeks away from launch, though. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=277241.0

CryptoAve continues to look better and better baritus, I can't wait! Do you plan on supporting any form of 2-factor authentication, such as yubikey or google authenticator?

Looks like cryptsy with added red.. why all the new exchanges popping up lol?
Yes... just like cryptsy. Only with a completely different interface, trading engine, USD deposit and withdrawal, and an integrated payment gateway.

when and where will you be able to buy shares of CryptoAve? great job Unfortunately, the initial auction for CryptoAve shares just ended today ( Here). However, from what I understand shares will be openly traded on CryptoAve itself once it launches.

Only a few votes above XPM.
Irinocally, Litecoin is one of the least innovative all coins out there. It only popular since it was one of the earliest altcoins to have a fair launch. most altcoins are scrypt clones. I'd say its pretty innovative. Tenebrix was the first coin to use the scrypt algorithm, not litecoin.

Looks incredible baritus, can't wait!

Hash Algo EXACTLY as Quarkcoin. Why not mention in the ANN? Shame on you!
He credited Sifcoin, which developed the algorithm that Quark uses.

is it suppose to be harder that Bitcoin's wallet to get synced ? i'm having a hellish time trying to get anywhere with the wallet and i've tried tons of stuff.. i would have said screw it but i have been running a miner on p2pool and i want my coins so far i have gotten none an they are showing on the p2pool graph. tried the conf that came with it with and with out the extras leaving only addnodes tried only using 1 node as mentioned on page 1.. tried no conf.. all the while re-deleting everything but wallet.dat after trying different things. all i ever get is part way then it pretty well just slows to a crawl or doesn't move at all and i have no security, router or firewall issues either i have a massive gigantic folder of wallets and have run into issues with tons of them and always managed to get it going and carry on.. this is THE one that is stone walling me hard. so much pissing around this sucks some serious ass wish i could figure out what the hell is going on.. even did chkdsk on windows. i'd appreciate any ideas if ya people have any. Have you tried forwarding port 7999 on your router?

wallet still shows nothing 0/5 confirmations until now
I'm copying this from here as I'm being too lazy to write it out myself...: http://digitalcoin.co/forums/index.php/topic,102.msg291.html#msg291Did you try doing a -rescan ? This will rescan the block chain to find any missing transactions.
Create and/or 2nd mouse button click on the digitalcoin shortcut on your desktop. Select > Properties.
In the 'Target' field add --rescan: "C:\Program Files (x86)\digitalcoin\digitalcoin-qt.exe" --rescan
Click on Apply and OK. Now re-start digitalcoin via this shortcut.

Baritus could not have made better choices for these positions than Techbytes and Clap. Congrats to both of y'all!
