I’m fully ramp up with my S9 now, and my percentage is about 0.03%, and I usually get awarded at 0.0035xxx per block found at Kano. At normal pool, I get 0.00125 (after fee) minimum per day, so as a month (30 days) I get 0.00125x30=0.0375/month. So if we found less than 10 blocks/month (depends on luck), I can’t get as much as normal pool. Do I get it right here?
yup - thats more or less accurate from my understanding. i was asking similar questions last month when i started mining on Kano, migrating my 4xS9 to this pool. Its been a tough end of Jan & beginning of Feb ... but i'm hopeful for the future. btw, theres no such thing as a "normal" pool ... just different hashing/share calc & payout methods. I have 1 S9 at Kano from 14 Jan, but with bad luck and depend on the pool hashrate, the income is not as much as I thought. I have monthly bills to pay, what should I do?

Is this the longest time ever that we can't hit a block, so long ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Keep mining on...

I think Kano'd better make some simple calculator that can give user the future rewards as their current hashrate ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I've put my S9 along with kano since 14th Jan, and now my shift performance is 9.15, is it normal or am I getting sth wrong, how long til fully ramp up?
You can actually estimate how far you are. The 'ramp' is of course 5Nd which is 500% diff. If you find the nearest block after you started, then add up the % for all blocks after that block, then add the % total we are now (~248%) if that adds up to over 500% then you're done. You also will have some % before that block was found so you can estimate that also. So to give an example assuming someone started 14-Jan 6:00 UTC The first block found after that time was 504174 at 2018‑01‑14 10:22:29 After that block there's been 2 blocks 46.284% and 202.868% = 249.152% The current block is another ~248% so 249% + 248% = 497% 504174 was found 4hrs 22min 29sec (15749sec) after 6:00 UTC and was 9.007% and a total of 8hrs 31min 10sec (30670sec) So mining was approximately 15749/30670 of that 9.007% or 0.513 x 9.007% = another 4.625% So 497% + 4.6% is of course more than 500% so the 5Nd 'ramp' would be 'just' passed if you started mining at 14-Jan 6:00 UTC and had a consistent hash rate with no outages since then (ignoring the 5-10min pool outage since that was everyone) Wow, thks, I got that clearly ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

My worker is still showed in the stats page with the current hashrate, but in the Workers - workers tab and at the top right near my username it shows 0GHs or ?GHs. Is that normal Kano?

I'm also new to mining, and I think there are some reasons why people still mining on those big pools: - Big pools also have better appearance and more well-known as well (even on wiki), and newbies can easily find that how much they can get DAILY - They wanna get daily payment (even if they're smaller ) I now have 3 S9, 2 of them stick to viabtc or btc.com, and 1 to kano. 2 are for monthly payments, cause I sometimes can't wait for kano to get block & confirm, payment as deadline for invoices come.... Just my thought

Thks. One more question plz, I do have 1 S9, how much will I get per day (average), I’ve tried some other pool like nicehash, viabtc or slush and I often get about 0,0003BTC/day. And then when I found kano, I pointed my S9 to kano and I only get 0,0006 for about 2 days mined, is that normal? Sorry for my bad english ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) without even talking about anything else, you do realize that 0.0003 btc/day would be 0.0006 in two days, right? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Sorry, I mean 0.003/day, and I got 0.0006 for 2 days here ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)

![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fm.imgur.com%2Fa%2FV7oF8&t=663&c=R3ErtMMGf4_ySA) Sorry I’m new to bitcoin. Once block has been found, I got this but I haven’t received anything in my btc waller, do I have to do anything to get my reward? https://www.kano.is/index.php?k=payoutWhen are payments sent out? The block 'Status' must first reach '+101 Confirms' on the Blocks page, and then is flagged as 'Matured', before the reward is distributed. The block reward transaction is created manually some time before the block matures, and sent out automatically a minute after the block matures. The payout may use a zero fee transaction, so we will confirm it with the next block we find after the transaction is sent out. You may not see the transaction in your wallet before the first confirm. Thks.
