3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New Cloudmining Provider Hashnet on: July 03, 2015, 10:28:54 AM
Secret hedgehog did put some work into that.

Here is what I say: Maybe everyone should calm down calling everything a scam immediately! Hashnet is in v1 Beta, meaning that it is just a test environment! And these guys are already expecting judge verified signed documents about their company delivered to them on a silver platter, like other non bitcoin companies do that! oh wait they don't they are just there and everyone is fine with that.

I think that main issue with bitcoin is that lack of trust. This community has experienced some serious losses over the years, including myself due to schemes in the early ages of bitcoin. Now things are changing but this pessimistic self entitled detective users are still in heavy numbers.

I would like to imagine what the people who have worked on hashnet mining will say once they see all these scam alerts! because 1 user did not find them on some british company directory that probably updates 4 times a year.

This being sad, I am also just testing hashnet with a small investment. At least I am giving them a chance, and not yelling scam after some "detective work" lol

Lets all throw our common sense away and listen to this new account with 12 activity  Grin
Seriously man, what a desperate attempt to promote this ponzi...

A lack of trust never was the problem, random companies showing up constantly that are ripping off their customers for thousands of dollars is the problem.
You either provide good proof that your company and the services you provide or real, or you should accept the fact that people can be 99% sure that someone is trying to scam you.

Listem to this new account? Dude I have been on this forum longer than you!! lol

You registered in 2013, December, I registered in 2013 July. Obviously you have been actively commenting on the forum and everything, which I truly admire. I did not comment that much, but that does not mean that I have not checked on this forum basically every day. So don't question my age in crypto   Angry  Cheesy

Are you finding your payouts to be above average? I have 10GH/s there as a test and this is what i am finding.

Oh and a Nice withdrawal fee... Fee: 0.00097513 BTC (0.25 USD)  Grin

Ian

I don't think that you can compare payouts with other services, they all have different miners, policies, and stuff. That is just my opinion....

Their breakeven is around 155 days, based on my calculation which reasonable.

I mean if you want to make money with bitcoin mining, and you can't pay 25 cents for a withdraw then, you should really just invest in the stock market or some mutual fund where you might receive 5% annually and the government takes 30% of your profit and the company the other 30%. I mean its 25 cents Smiley come on dude

6  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: --Hashnet Main Thread - Decentralized Pure Bitcoin Cloud Mining-- on: July 02, 2015, 03:25:23 PM
I totally disagree. Hashnet has been great for me. I think it is easy, user friendly, and precise. Qualities that the few cloud mining providers all lack. If you look at the past all those services like GAW and Zeushash were all shiny and cool looking! still what is paying out for more than a year now? Scrypt.cc which is the crappiest site I have ever been on.

Hashnet is a much better version of scrypt.cc with a company behind it.

There are always going to be haters and those who advise caution. That i believe a good thing. Cause we all remember getting burnt by all those scam companies like GAW.

But what is good is good! So i personally recommend hashnet. I think it is a service that was much needed!

So good job, keep moving forwards guys.  Grin

When will be the exact starting date released?

certain parts of the service especially the trading system is still in the making and also we will have to run tests prior to launch. At this point all i can tell you is that our expected launch will be closer to the end of June.  Smiley

fingers crossed. the timing for this is actually really good.

At this point the only mining site that I use is Hashnest, so it would be great to diversify a little bit.

keep up the work.

cheers  Grin

I really like cryptsy, because it has such a user friendly interface. Hopefully I can trade my clouds on cryptsy soon.

I like this coin and the dev team too. They are really active and have future plans. However the downside is that hash rate is low. But I don't care I will keep on mining and be happy about the low difficulty.

Hey Everybody,

The team has made the new windows client that fixes a few bugs, makes improvement upgrades, add checkpoints and
it also has a nice loading splash picture.

Please download the new client and than come and mine.

Official website: cloudcoin.webs.com
Official miningpool: cloudcoin.miningpool.co
Block explorer: cryptometer.org
updated client link: https://mega.co.nz/#F!vZF0zIBI!cdlGNTa53zdmES9kSh6n8Q
How to update
1, make sure to back up your wallet first
2, You only have to replace the cloudcoinqt.exe file in the %appdata%> cloudcoin folder and that is it. No need to reinstall the wallet.

Further development is coming soon. The online webwallet is on the way too. We have been working hard on the exchange site [cryptsy] implementation too.

I would like to say a big thank you for the ones who are mining Cloudcoin right now and I also would like to encourage other miners to come and mine Cloudcoin.

Thank you for reading,

The Cloudcoin Team

Thank you. The update is awesome, just like Cloudcoin itself. You guys are doing a great job. I love your coin. Keep it up.
