1  Economy / Economics / Re: If the world uses a single currency on: April 23, 2018, 10:17:30 AM
If the world uses a single currency, will the economy be more stable?
This is a very interesting question. The sovereign nations issue their own currencies and are taken for granted by many people, but few consider whether this is the economically optimal option.
Same currencies are possible in regions that are economically similar. Like USA and Somalia can not have a same currency but USA and Britain can do so.
And there is a currency that is used all over the world too, Thats US Dollar. So there can not be one specific answer to your question thats why it is an interesting debate !
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help poor children in underdeveloped countries? on: April 23, 2018, 09:58:48 AM
Illiteracy is the cause of poverty. We know a cup of coffee (Starbucks) = 20 notebooks, or a school bag, or two pairs of slippers for poor children in Vietnam.
Bitcoin does not help anyone but Whales. Its the people that can turn up to help someone regardless of owning bitcoins.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is created? on: April 23, 2018, 09:50:28 AM
Like Internet, Blockchain technology was also a revolution,
Internet is no more private, and for better privacy, we developed blockchain.
This new technology is not being developed by a single country or group in a single lab, but it is constantly being developed all around the world. So the question arises...... Who would fund this developement of blockchain ?
The answer is simple, Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are received by people who develope and the cycle goes on !
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: April 23, 2018, 09:42:02 AM

5  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin VS bank on: April 10, 2018, 10:15:09 AM
For more than a century, the banking system was used to fund state, endanger the stability of the economic activity, robbing private savings, eliminate one road, promote the financing dependence, even make violent reached an unprecedented scale, all because we do not have different techniques to implement monetary exchange. Now the monopoly is being broken. Bitcoin was born. The fear of the ruling class is only just beginning.

Do you think bitcoin will replace Banks in the future?
Bitcoin can never replace the banks. Because there are not much risk taking people like us. I like to keep money in bitcoins, but some people won't. So banks will always rule over cryptos. Thats the reality.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Margin trading Confusion. Please help. on: April 06, 2018, 05:09:50 AM
I trade at Bitfinex, I just started margin trading as my initial investment is reduced to 1/4 of initial total.
I borrow money there at 1:3.33 and trade with it.

Question # 1: There must be some interest rate or something like that which I have to pay extra on the borrowed amount but I never knew how much is it. and for how long I can hold that amount, not to incur further loss on paying that interest.

Q # 2: For example I had $100 and I bought 3 LTC with it @ 116$/LTC with leveraged fund. I put sell order @ 120$/LTC and clicked "calculate max. sell". There I was able to sell 5.6 LTC whereas I possessed only 3 LTC. It got me confused.
Furthermore, My sell order executed @ 120$ but it said my position was still open, and when I closed it, it actually executed @ 119$ rate and I got very little profit. I cant understand what happened there. Please help.
Thanking you in anticipation.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long can I hold in margin trading ? on: April 06, 2018, 05:06:53 AM

HA? please reply to my post what do you know about margin trading? what is your definition of margin trading?

(note Iam asking nicely here you might get mad of the words I wrote and might misunderstood me)

Because your just asking about trading not the word margin because "margin trading" is borrowing like getting money for trading to use it earn/for to gain income AND RETURN it back from the owner you got and accessing margin is using an margin that is an account.

Just to me it short and helpfull I would suggest you to go toooo Source
Be Positive

this can really help you more I know I should write what I learn here but its much better reading the original.

I just want to tell you its dangerously risky so if will share all it here instead of typing it here I will let you know that dont (Because I am a person that is not into getting in a big RISK)

Search this on google which I read before and that it was the first results (link) it says this
Quote
"Margin trading is risky business, and therefore is governed by rules set by a number of entities – the Federal Reserve Board, self-regulatory organizations (SROs) such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and brokerage firms.

You seem a knowledgeable person to me, Let me put my real confusion in front of you.

8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump is better than Obama? on: April 03, 2018, 09:33:53 AM
It never depends on trump or obama or anyone else, its the establishment making policy and running the country. The Senate and president are just the face, not the brain.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / How long can I hold in margin trading ? on: April 03, 2018, 09:30:32 AM
I am familiar with a concept of 'time value of money'. In margin trading, If I take that extra amount which exchange offers, it doesn't specifies any time limit for return, which in my view is necessary. What if I hold for 6 months, am I not liable to anything ?
I cant understand this concept in margin trading. Can anyone please guide and help me understand ? Thanks.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tips on getting merit on: April 02, 2018, 03:38:20 PM
Create a topic locally or globally, the topic should be about something new and interesting, if it has not been successful in getting merit, you should try to create a topic that contains inspirational stories from your life, but still there must be a crypto element so that your topic is not in delete by moderator.
I always try to be informative and remain in the domain of topic, my post portrays my original thoughts and their length is also fair (100 words avg) pls I have also joined a campaign to earn merits BUT nobody ever considered me to give away a merit. Sad
Am I doing something wrong here ? Hoping for effective guidance/advice or may be for some inspiration !
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the markets are being manipulated right now? on: April 02, 2018, 12:19:08 PM
Why? Why not

I've heard both sides of the argument and to a certain extent, they both make sense more or less.

Thoughts?
I think that the current dips in the market are artificial and result of some manipulation, They doesn't seem natural. I dont have a hard reason but I can say from my trading and TA experience that this is not what it used to be.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: If the powerful governments wanted to, do you think they could stop Bitcoin? on: April 02, 2018, 12:08:30 PM
They could never 'Kill' the Bitcoin, some big governments like China have tried but seems like failed to do so, they can restrict the use, restrict the access but an individual will always find a way to access his account. I am not sure if a government can even impart Tax on crypto industry as there are always to perform anonymous transactions. So the answer is NO.
one thing they can do is to buy all Bitcoins, but the last few to sell bitcoins may hav millions of dollars for a fraction of bitcoin, even more beneficial for the ones hodling bitcoins.
13  Other / Serious discussion / Re: ATTENTION- Stop receive airdrop token without knowledge on: March 29, 2018, 11:35:19 AM
Nowadays, Airdrop and Bounty posts receive coins, free tokens are everywhere. Many bad guys take the opportunity to create fake airdrop and fake bounty programs to collect your information for malicious purposes. Normally, they get your email, social network accounts for advertising or sales. In addition, many of the loopholes that reveal passwords will attempt to break into your account.

Many people with good security knowledge are not worried, but I know many of you do not know about security so if you disclose Email, password, private key of the wallet MEW risk of flying out of property.
Agreed ! You provide your E-mail and people usually use the same password for many accounts related to crypto, so it can help a hacker but I have a question.
What if I have 2FA security on my accounts which I have balance in ? I f hacker got access to my E-mail and password, can he move my assets ?
14  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: March 29, 2018, 11:21:18 AM
As the market is bearish now, so short term investment is not much beneficial now, but in long term, the future of crypto seems bright and will produce a good return.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: March 28, 2018, 10:33:53 AM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
There is No proper crypto bank uptill now, but there are many exchanges that offers some of the services that actual banks offer. They offer saving and current accounts in crypto and also percentage profit etc.
There is a guy I was once in contact with, who is determined to open a proper crypto bank providing all the services that a conventional bank offers. He has 350 bitcoins now and trading for some more, an has set a target of 500 BTC than he will start it and will obviously advertise it, then we are going to know a proper crypto bank.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is on an uptrend on: March 28, 2018, 10:03:18 AM
Everything depends on the price of Bitcoin, because almost every coin is being traded in bitcoin. And here, all going up except the ones I am holding ! feels unlucky. But if bitcoin goes up, hoping for a better result.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin, how far it can go! on: March 26, 2018, 10:01:40 AM
Bitcoin and cryptos have unlimited potential and can go to unthinkable heights but it all depends on us. There is no real product behind BTC but its our money, our investments that makes it move forward, and if people start investing in it more, it can go beyond any limits ! So dont doubt the potential of bitcoin.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Good to Make Investment in it on: March 26, 2018, 07:09:24 AM
It is always a good time to invest in Bitcoin. You can enter into it and if you trade sensibly and technically enough, you can always make profits irrespective of market fluctuations and its current price. You just have to know when to get in, and when to get out.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: March 22, 2018, 07:07:49 AM
I am a newbie in Bitcoin Forum.I know some of the most important uses of Bitcoin. They are:
1.You can buy a flight ticket.
2.You can rent a hotel room.
3.you can buy pizza and other food related goods.
4.You can use it as a investment vehicle because bitcoin will continue to grow in value.

I want to know other important uses of it.

The uses you mentioned here are there, but reality is that the most common use of Bitcoin is to trade and get profits from it. Simple.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Alt to buy for short term ? on: March 21, 2018, 11:15:14 AM
I suggest you buy some BTC, because it is in a bear market, so the risk of investing in other tokens can be very high.
So invest in bitcoins as much as possible, because the risks are not particularly large and the benefits are considerable.
I think the %age profit with bitcoin is quiet low, as in 6-8 %. But in alts we often see 50%+ rise in a week or so. Thats why I would prefer an altcoin for this investment and will bet on one of them. I hope that I get it right. Thanks for the suggestion any way !
