2  Economy / Exchanges / Is there an exchange that has good reviews? on: December 27, 2017, 08:36:56 PM
I've looked up so many exchange reviews and all of them so far have inconsistencies.   They seem to have negative reviews.  Accounts getting frozen for no reason.  Transactions never being deposited.  Withdrawal issues (the scariest and had the most complaints.)  Etc..

Is there a trustworthy consistent exchange out there?

Here is the transaction id

28210d5dade4e47b3d67bbbe586e4b4a635332b71d80ca9449c1413fd86c5758

This is now on day 5.  Can someone please look at it for clarity?  Thank you.
You won't receive confirmation in the coming days, unless you try to use the transaction accelerator linked above. It's really straightforward to use, just make sure you try to accelerate it every full hour, when in the first few seconds there are 100 free slots to take (and there are really a lot of people who wait for that first few seconds to accelerate their own 'low cost' transaction).
Your transaction has 79 sat/B fee, but as of now, the average transaction fee is 10 times more, over 700 sat/B, this is why I say that it makes no sense just to wait for the confirmations....

Now it's been 7 days.  I've tried doing viabtc over and over at the specified time and its always full.  I also tried confirmtx and nothing.

Is there any other way I can get this confirmed.  Can I pay someone?

It clearly says that the sender has sent you an unspent input which in this case means that he has sent you the BTC which has not been confirmed yet on his address. Once the coins are confirmed on his address they will be transferred to your address. This might take a while seeing the coongested BTC network and all you can do is wait until you receive the coins.
Been over 4 days now.   Still shows receiving and have 0 confirmations.  However the parent is no longer showing as unspent on the block change as of yesterday.  No unconfirmed parent warning in my transaction details any longer.

When is this thing gonna get confirmed?

Check the OP for more on the issue.
So this means that the sender has got his coins in his wallet and now the coins will be sent to your wallet according to fees paid. The current network fees is too high and it might take some more time for your wallet to get credited with the BTC.
Post the transaction ID for further clarificaitons.

Thanks for the reply.  I really appreciate it.  Here is the transaction id.  He paid $12.75 usd for the mining fee.  Check it out.

I'm waiting for confirmation in my Mycellium Wallet.   It's been over 2 days now.  The source paid $12.75 for the mining fee.  The transaction says..

0 confirmations
Warning: wait for at least one confirmation!
(unconfirmed parent)

I look on Blockchain and it says unconfirmed.  Sender Address has a red (U) in parentheses just between it and the (btc output) parentheses. It's sent to 2 addresses

The 2 receiving addresses.  1 of which says (unspent) in green also in parentheses directly following it.  The second one has (spent) in red also in parentheses directly following it.

What does all of this mean?  Remember I am only receiving BTC that I bought.

Welcome to this forum as your are newbie still it will take some time to understand things.

Anyways, Bitcoin is share or token system which is decentralized, but to give more security and transparency to transaction it needs to verify by miner and keep this ledger record open for every node to re-verify.

Whatever amount you have bought is received to wallet address from senders wallet address. So in such transaction remaining amount is stored to sender address with unspent. for these transaction it require fees, and this fees paid to miner to verify broadcasted transaction.

Generally its take 8 to 9 minutes to solve 1 block, so always check in which block your transaction included. So that you can check wheather this block get solved or not and who relayed it.

How do I check which block my transaction is included in?  Also, how can I get this done faster?

What has been your experience as the easiest way to do this?  What fees should I expect sending, converting and withdrawal?

Also who is the most reliable exchange or, converter?
