Me too!
2  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Modular FPGA Miner Hardware Design Development on: July 17, 2011, 11:39:22 AM
I had a qoute from pcbcart for a 4 layer board of our size with gold finish and 240 connection pinns for the DIMM ind 1.2 mm thikness resulting in 18 euro per board  for a quatity of 10 boards.

I would like to avoid manufayturing the boards in germany. The liddle to no increase in quality often doesn't justify the price over the asian manufacturers in my experience.

@Olaf.Mandel:

Wich size of the board did you set for your design and your quote ?

I tought of increasing the heith  of the daughterboard above standart DIMM size to 50 maybe 60mm to get more space.

I also think we will have to populate the backside with capacitors anyway. The Xilinx docu tells to put the smallest capacitors right behind the Vint and Vcc vias.
So having to additional layers for ground and signal would be a  plus.

Edit: just to have a frame of capabilitys we are talking about here. The restictions published by pcbcart:

Layers                         1-10 layers
Material                         FR4
Copper Thickness         1/2 to 2oz  (18um-70um)
Board Thickness         .016-.126"  (0.4mm-3.2mm)
Surface finish                 HASL,Ni/Au,OSP
Soldermask                 LPI, different colors
Board Dimension         600x700mm
Min Hole Diameter         8mil (0.2mm)
Min line width                 8mil (0.2mm)
Min line spacing          8mil (0.2mm)
Min SMT pitch             16mil (0.4mm)
Min. Annular Ring         .008" (0.2mm)
Aspect Ratio                 5:1
Surface/hole plating         ave. 25um min. 20um
Tolerance:
Hole Tolerance (PTH)      .002" (0.05mm)
Hole Tolerance (NPTH)    .003" (0.075mm)
SM Tolerance (LPI)        .003" (0.075mm)
Dimension                .004" (0.1mm)
Electrically test                10V-250V, flying probe or testing fixture

I've had very good experiences with PCBCart, excellent choice Smiley.

Any ETA on when I'll receive my coins? I placed an order for 4 of them yesterday.

If you're in the U.S., it's pretty quick.  I received mine in less than 72 hours but I probably got lucky that I paid the same day that RSantana was doing a shipment.

Cheers,
Kermee

What about internation shipments(the netherlands)? Any estimates? I paid mine last wednesday.

Got mine today, so international shipping takes about a week(to the netherlands) Smiley! And i have to say, they really look great!

I just noticed, that for international shipping of 4 coins Paypal says 29.96 USD (including shipping), whereas with Bitcoins that would be 2.8 BTC.
I really don't mind the price - it is still a great offer, but the 30% discount when paying with Paypal appears a bit strange to me.

Am I missing something here?

They should be cheaper to buy in BTC than with paypal to stimulate the market Smiley.

They look bigger than what I had in mind, color looks nicer on these photos Smiley
Would be nice to have these also in silver and gold  Smiley

Yup, i tried to get the color as real as possible, but it's still a bit more yellow in reality.
Made the second photo with people in europe in mind, so they can see how it compares to the euro.

What about a titanium coin? Its probably a lot harder to fabricate then silver or brass but i like the idea. "A indestructable coin for a indestructable currency". Also a bit cheaper then pure silver and alot more durable. Where silver bends and scratches fast, you could use a titanium coin as a keychain easily.

Edit: Almost forgot to mention, it looks great too Cheesy!

I would like a silver coin in the same design as the gold one. I already ordered a gold coin, and it would be cool to have the same design in gold and silver. Spot price + something like 6-8 dollar sounds good to me.

Who all would be interested in a one troy ounce .999 high quality silver round? If so how much over the silver spot price would you be willing to pay for it?

I would be, definitely. At least a few of them.

Cheers,
Kermee

I probably would too Smiley. Can't say about the price, do you have an indication?
11  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just Another Double Trouble (ENDED) on: July 01, 2011, 04:42:35 PM
Seems I was the last one, with my attempt to keep the game going. And I would consider playing again, but there should be a way to keep these running a little longer among all the short quick draw games.

Your BTC is on the way Smiley.

Yup i would also like to play again, but things do have to change first, it would be nice to have games with 10+ players again.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: Just Another Double Trouble (long term) on: July 01, 2011, 08:12:39 AM
The game is now over!

Unfortunately I sent the leftover pot to the wrong address, I sent it to one of the previous winners instead of the last bidder. I have sent him a message and hopefully he'll forward the btc to the last bidder. If he decides to keep it: I'm really sorry.

Ah, dont worry, im at work at the moment but i will send it back to the right address as soon as i get home Smiley.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cool thing to do on: June 30, 2011, 08:39:29 PM
Yup, im waiting for this noob rush to calm down too. Maybe we can have some nice big games when they realise it's NOT a cool thing to start a thread here as soon as you bail out of the newbie section.
Im holding my coins for now, already lost too much because of all this silly short games.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: Starting Up a Double Trouble 1.7x Payout in 10 minutes! 9:00PM EDT! .1 BTC Min on: June 29, 2011, 04:43:42 PM
Well, since everyone and their dog is making their own, players get spread out.

Exactly, this is killing these games, unfortunately, because i really like them. More is not better in this case i guess.

18  Economy / Gambling / Re: MultiplyEm! 1.5X - Max Deposit: 3BTCs - (+ Jackpots / + Bonus) on: June 27, 2011, 07:12:57 AM
This one is still fresh, get in while you can!
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: King of the Hill - Automated Bitcoin Doubler (Rounds Start Every Hour) on: June 26, 2011, 10:04:21 PM
Seriously, I don't see how those spreadsheet ones are so popular. You have to hope the guy running them isn't a scammer. Here, mine is all automated, and you don't have to wait for me to send you payment.

I will extend King of the Mountain and make a new topic for it later tonight. Maybe that will entice people.

Well, at spreadsheet ones you have a human operator, have a nice experience, probably get a refund if you screwed up. In automated ones it's still possible that the guy running them is a scammer, though the risk is lower. Or it can be hacked. Or whatever.

I think I'll play yours though Wink

True, i like the personal touch with the spreadsheats too Smiley.

Yup i thought this one would be more popular too  Huh. But what i really don't like about these automated games is that you have to use mybitcoin to send payments, it really slows you up. I know why its necessary but i rather see something like betcoin.eu, just sent your amount to an address and it automatically shows up.
