1  Other / Beginners & Help / bitcoin for transaction worth it? on: December 21, 2017, 01:29:02 PM
Hello, I sorta have the idea that cryptocurrency such as bitcoin is used to replace the current currency for transaction since it's decentralized and not regulated by government. There are many shops/restaurant are receiving bitcoin as a payment too. However, I don't see the value in making a transaction via cryptocurrency (bitcoin) due to all the fees that are imposing on the consumers. For example, buying bitcoin from exchange site not only more expensive than the current market price, they also imposed a small transaction fee up to 6% for credit usage. Not to mentioned even after u received your bitcoin and excited to spend it on buying some stuffs, the transaction fee from transferring the bitcoin from 1 wallet to another costed about 0.001 which in current market about $20+ So i don't really get the points, since you'll be practically giving away lot of tips from  every usage. Can someone maybe correct my point? of better explain it? Thank you.

3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: www.bitpanda.com - Official BitPanda Support Thread on: December 15, 2017, 02:46:57 PM
Hello, I wanted to increase my limit and upgrade to verification gold status but I am encountering problem with the identification process. I have contacted with an operator via IdentityTM and she told me that she cannot verify me because my country(malaysia) is not in the list. I am currently living in Germany and have a valid bank account(Deutsche bank), EU phone number and residence permit but non of that helps. I have submitted a support ticket but the person somehow seems to misunderstand what i want and do not answer my questions even though i tried to explain many times. I tried to make another appointment with verify-U but no operator answered my call even it's the appointed date. I'm do not have option anymore so please help me. Here is the reference number from the call i made with IdentityTM: 0043120666127
4  Economy / Exchanges / Need recommendation bitcoin exchange platform on: December 13, 2017, 12:55:37 PM
Hello, I just started to get interested in bitcoin but not really going to invest heavily nor do any frequent trading. I'm just going to buy and hold on to them hoping for the best, earning some pocket money. I'm based in Europe and planning to invest maybe 200-300 euro on bitcoin and observes how it goes. I tried to do my own researched and sniff out as many exchange platform as I could but each and everyone of them seems to be have their own agenda. Here is the following list:

Coinbase
- the most popular one and beginner friendly but also infamous for having various fee

Bitstamp
- pop up in many recommendation sites but some users complained their extensive breach of privacy information and the site experienced minor hack before if not wrong

Kraken
- seems reliable but somehow website down for me(lasted for 1 weeks+ )

Spectrocoins
- looks professional and have live support but have considerable amount of scamming issue especially involving large amount of BTC

Bitpanda
- tried to buy once from this and liked it but can't pass the verification and the support almost non-existent so can't spend anymore than 50 EUR/month

Well that's all the exchange platform that seems good to me but after some researches almost all seems fishy... So can anyone recommend any better choice or reassure me which one the best? Taking account what I've mentioned above. Thank you.
