I just realized you probably are only here to promote your site.   Undecided

Yes and no. I am actually building my 2nd rig. First is 6x 1060 and now I'd like to go with 580s (no experience with those yet).
Your feedback will help me to improve the tool, which I think might be handy for rig builders...

You are paying far too much for that motherboard. Look at Newegg or another retailer.

The graphics cards are overpriced for the 4GB version.

1x 4GB DDR4 RAM is probably fine, so it's up to you if you want that extra stick.

Running 12x 580s on 2x 1000W PSUs is going to be a bit of a stretch, even after messing with clock settings. Did you check if you'll have enough connectors for all of your cards and risers?

Newegg is out of stock for that motherboard. Video cards are similar price at newegg and Amazon. Good point about the connectors!

Probably most of the scripts are calling json each minute, while each 3 minutes would be enough. (Thats the stats and rates update span)
Second problem is people working around rpm limit and spamming from multiple IPs.

In the end we need more server power, not more restrictions Wink

My switcher default is set to 3 too
Why people go below 3 while api update is 3 minutes?
Just a suggestion, maybe this needs to be clearly stated on the website, so people know that there is no need to call it more often than 3min?

Hello,

I have made a website that provides computer parts selection, compatibility, pricing guidance, and profitability results for Ethereum (for now) cryptocurrency mining rig builders.
Just added currency conversion and parts availability for the following countries:

USA
Canada
United Kingdom
Germany
Italy
Spain
France

Here is the link: https://outervision.com/mining-rig-builder

What's in the works?
- fine tuning hash rates and power consumption of individual video cards
- XMR and Zcash
- Australia support

I would love to hear your feedback on what can be improved! Enjoy  Wink

Json is down at the moment. Too many requests for the site to remain operational.
IP banning does not work, people just use someservice to split their calls over multiple IPs and kill the server in the process.
fredeq, what would be a "good" delay between API requests to keep your site operational? I do use it and want to make sure we adhere to best practices.
