yes I understand. my problem though is that i tried to send coins from msigna to armory, the bitcoin log shows the coins have been sent but i cant get them into armory. i didnt realise id need to download the complete blockchain, which at this rate is taking several weeks. i wanted to know if there was a way the coin could be recalled to msigna,?

I decided to try armory, installed it,  then sent myself some coin from a different wallet, this is verified on blockchain.info.. but then realised id have to download the full node bitcoin core before i can accept it. as this is likely to take 2 weeks, if my hardrive has the space, is there a way i can reverse this. as in effect im sending the coin to myself just at a different wallet.......im so confused

is the length of time it is taking normal?   also what happens if i run out of disk space?

what is the advantage of full node ie having to download 180gb when other wallllets dont seem to require this.. my main concern is that it has taken 3 days and likely another 5 days, is this normal?
10  Bitcoin / Armory / newbie problem on: December 12, 2017, 08:26:05 PM
hello, I bought a nominal amount just to get the feel of it, i was using a different wallet (msigna) seemed straight forward the coin showed up in there very quickly but then i had problems connecting so i decided to try a different wallet, Armory. i have sent some from msigna but now i find in order to connect armory i have to download data from bitcoin which so far has taken 3 days and looks like taking another 5-10 days, am i missing something or doing something really stupid? please advise
