1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: March 27, 2018, 10:37:37 PM
It seems ETH will not overtake BTC. With time if ICOs lose attractiveness or even if many postpone dates hoping for a more bullish trend, the value of ETH may not recover. It could even drop further. Can ETH stay above $500 for a week will probably be the next normal question.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: March 26, 2018, 07:55:38 PM
I am buying ETH and bitcoins. I also watch for some ICO coins that drop on EtherDelta and pick them up when they lose half of the value. Of course not just any coin, I do some research first.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: March 23, 2018, 05:54:57 PM
I do not see how bitcoin can reduce unemployment. Even if someone is living off of mininig it is not a regular activity of employment in any country as far as I know. Its volatility might even increase unemployment since there were foold who mortgaged their houses for bitcoin and then crash.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin for all levels of society, without any difference on: March 22, 2018, 07:49:35 PM
Yes, bitcoin is for everyone as long as they have a computer and a couple of 100$ to invest. Of course, mining is only for the richest who can perpetually scale up the necessary equipment.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you join airdrop? on: March 19, 2018, 11:20:12 AM
I sometimes joinn airdrops that are easy to joinn and therefore warrant the name airdrop. Otherwise it is a bounty campaign. I also do not join if they do not ask to provide eth address. And also I do not like those that give you tokens to your dashboard and set a high number of tokens if you want to withdraw.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: March 18, 2018, 05:30:52 PM
Bitcoin would like to be a currency, but so far it is only good for speculation. It does not behave like a store of value and is too volatile for means of payment.
7  Other / Meta / Re: Introduce a "Up vote & Down vote" system instead of the "Merit" system on: March 17, 2018, 04:34:48 PM
Some sort of AI like Google uses should be in order. To remove it outside the influence of human hands. AI that recognizes good content otherwise the only way to get merit will be to buy it somehow.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: March 17, 2018, 04:09:51 PM
It is a common phenomenon. THey buy high seduced by rapid growth and dump low in a panic attack after  markets have been in the red for awhile. That will always be happening.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Simple Steps To Pick A Good ICO (For Newbies) on: March 15, 2018, 10:37:02 PM
All good points. Small cap means they give tokenized value growth priority over money grab. Of course there is always the possibility that they truly need 100m $ like when they want to start they own space program. Cheesy
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google to BAN crypto advertising-includes Youtube on: March 14, 2018, 08:12:40 PM
I really wonder why Google took this step. It’s not like people are doing something illegal when promoting cryptos.
Too much scam and consequent pressure ba regulators. Maybe the future of tokens will be a future without promotion, like stocks. At any rate, how will ICOs be promoted from June on? Any alternative strategies?
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: March 13, 2018, 06:49:46 PM
I would use them, since they would be a great means of payment. Now they are a speculation means and it makes little sense to spend them or to put a price in btc on merchandise.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN? on: March 13, 2018, 05:00:52 PM
Buy both. Gold is for long term value hold and bitcoin for speculation. Diversify the portfolio if you are not an avid gambler.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 seems like a good year for ALTCOIN on: March 12, 2018, 06:58:05 PM
I really hope this year separate wheat from the chaff. I hope regulations become clearer so we know what to expect and which coins will have to e delisted and which will prosper. When this is done, institutional money can move in as it is itching do to already. And then back to the moon. Cheesy
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia to Criminalize Bitcoin Use.. on: March 11, 2018, 10:15:08 AM
Governments are obviously afraid of bitcoin and would prefer a national cryptocurrency they can control. It is known the Rusian central bank is against it saying it is used for money laundering. As long as some government does not declare you can also pay taxes in crypto the fate will be uncertain.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🚀 [BOUNTY] Sandblock – Decentralized consortium of brands and customers 🚀🌟 on: March 10, 2018, 06:32:09 PM
Is bounty also available for signature campaigns on some other forums, like Altcoinstalks?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🚀 [ANN][96%] Sandblock – Decentralized consortium of brands & customers 🚀🌟 on: March 10, 2018, 04:10:40 PM
Finally quality will get recognized. About time somebody brought balance to customer and business sides.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🛰 Decibels 🛰 - Decentralized Multi-Media Codex Revolution on: March 10, 2018, 03:11:20 PM
This is more promising than Musiconomi and tagrets different audience than Viberate. Keep up the good work.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: March 09, 2018, 09:55:23 PM
I expect Eth to have a better value long term. Bitcoin is overrated in my opinion and I am done investing in it. Ethereum is so much better until it gets supplanted by a more efficient blockhain. However, it may take awhile for that to happen. After this bearish market is over I hope it wil b emore and more obvious that a token must be backd by something even if it is just the ability to perform operations on blockchain. Bitcoin will be a poor store of value and a poor means of payment. It is only good as a speculative instrument.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Gambling and online casinos sites list on: March 09, 2018, 05:41:50 PM
How many gambling soites accept crypto other than bitcoins?
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is God male or female? on: March 08, 2018, 01:00:02 AM
Female of course. I know because there is that song God is a girl...
