1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [COINO] KGW ACTIVATED - WALLET UPDATE ▬► COINO -(O)- ◄▬ The fastest Coin on: March 10, 2014, 03:20:20 PM
I have a weird problem with the linux client:

With the deamon i get only like 13 (only outgoing) connections..
I have enabled listen=1
I have successful set-up a telnet session to my ip:15555
The clients syncs successfully with the 13 connections
I have disabled the firewall, all resulting in 13 connections only

I have set-up on another pc a windows client, got 40 connections in no time, then deleted the peers.dat on the windows client and added only to the Coino.conf of the windows client: connect=*mylinuxip* and only then i get 1 incoming connection to my linux deamon. *yeah it works?!**

In other words:
my ports are open
the deamon is listening and accepting connection when one showes up, like my windows client

BUT WHY do I not get any incoming connection from other users??

Any help is much appreciated!
I have set-up many different coins on many different systems, but this issue is weird to me!
see below my Coino.conf
Code:
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
dnsseed=1
irc=1
rpcuser=Coinorpc
rpcpassword=xxx
rpcport=14444
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=162.243.0.247
addnode=37.139.25.15
addnode=217.19.25.189

and result of netstat -vatn |grep 15555
Code:
netstat -vatn |grep 15555

I'm running on ubuntu  server 12.04 LTS and compiled the megacoind program.

All went fine without errors, and the blockchain is getting synced.
One command doest not work however:

****@ubuntu:~$ megacoind getaccountaddress

error: {"code":-1,"message":"getaccountaddress <account>\nReturns the current Megacoin address for receiving payments to this account."}

megeacoind getinfo works fine:
****@ubuntu:~$ megacoind getinfo
{
    "version" : 179600,
    "protocolversion" : 70001,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 23017,
    "timeoffset" : 0,
    "connections" : 9,
    "proxy" : "",
    "difficulty" : 1.48889040,
    "testnet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1389349728,
    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "errors" : ""
}

I have changed my DB version from 5.1 to 4.8 as advice on some places, and rebuild megacoind but always same result.. Any help is welcome!!

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] SSL Worldcoin Pool With Stratum and Vardiff+Newbie chat on: December 30, 2013, 10:51:20 AM
Good pool, and very stable since the major upgrade a few weeks ago. Also as soon as site grows the pool management instantly adds new resources to the server to keep things ok.
Currently mining megacoins at the same pool (meg.mining4all.eu) but depending on difficulty i switch between megacoins and worldcoins.

I certainly recommend to use this pool for your worldcoins, if you look for a good and steady pool!
Mining with alias kirdwdc on the wdc pool.

Also i will fully agree with post above, this is much better than p2pool i used before!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][Pool] SSL [Prop] Megacoin Pool With Stratum and Vardiff 1% Fee on: December 30, 2013, 10:14:14 AM
Mining here for about 4 weeks (first at there litecoin pool ltc.mining4all.eu but due to relative low hashrate switched to the megacoin pool at mining4all.eu)
it's a fast pool with very active mods/developers.

We got now approx 2 blocks a day on average, more miners are very welcome!
(I'm mining Megacoins as kirdmega, see you in the chat?!)

So who's willing to clue me in on how to deal with the current crazy spikes?

I stopped trading, I'm making much more by not trading, since it seems almost like a continues race to the top.. I have enabled only the droploss, so i will sell when the currency drops. Only then i start trading againg.

Everyday we have a new all time high, I increase the dropp loss... Sofar i keep rising with my coins on hand...
When trading with smaller drops, i lost the race upwards, because it would not drop much and my rebuy trigger never reached. So i thought it was smarter to just keep the coins in hand, till we are moving sidewards again..

Strange thing I notice, sometimes there are just no selling or buying signals for a period, while the indicator is clearly indicating buy or sell:

I think my settings are solid (all on 0) so they shouldn't interfere with the signal:

PS: This is only with 1 indicator (the standard MACD)

I have exact same problem, the buy signal never gets triggered due to coin position. Only when i reset the previous buy value to zero, it will trigger the trade. Selling works just fine, as soon as all triggers are met, but after a drop above the minimum coin value drop AND the trade indicator is allowing a buy, you will get the incorrect coin status notification instead of a new buy.

When i reset the previous buy value to zero (without restart of program) it will do one more complete trading cycling again. After the next sell, it won't buy again!?

13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: October 09, 2013, 08:28:47 PM
I'v a question/remark about version 0.8 (latest)

I wanted the bot to sell all my bitcoins i had with the high/low bot and selected the all in option.
After a while the boundaries where reached and the trade was made. I got however stuck with 0.0073 BTC, for which no sell order was made.

A closes look showed me that not the complete amount of bitcoin a sell order was given for, but a portion was not sold, for which i assume the fee had to be paid off.
But either the calculation is wrong, or the fee is paid from the sales value, and no reservation should have been made for that (when trading manula on the btc-e, If i would sell all, i can sell all and fees are just subtracted from the sale earnings)

Is this bot behaviour done by design, or did i find a bug?
14  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Let op: foutje in Bitcoin-Qt (ga niet herindexeren!) on: September 13, 2013, 02:47:15 PM
bitcoin-QT 0.8.5 is uit, en daarmee is deze bug verholpen!
http://sourceforge.net/projects/bitcoin/files/Bitcoin/bitcoin-0.8.5/

Who is interested in translating the language file of Simple Trade Bot?

I have placed the language file online at this link:
http://haasonline.tk/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/LangEN.txt

The requirements are:
The file format must be in UTF-8 and the XML structure must remain intact.

For each unique translation XML file i will be donating 0.2 BTC to you as reward. You can send it to me by PM or email.

If you accept, post it here (the language name) so no double work is done by others.

I already got English, Russian, Italian and German.

The bounty is high but i need it ASAP for the new release this weekend. (<24 hours) Besides i have to warn not to underestimate the translations because they are sometimes hard to make.

I can do Dutch within 48 hrs if you still need additional translations..
19  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CaptchaCoin.com - Get paid bitcoins for solving captchas! on: August 19, 2013, 11:56:28 AM
one question before starting/trying this:

What is the purpose of solving these captcha's
Likely this will be used by spammers to bypass captcha checks??

Hopefully topic starter can clear this out a bit?!
