1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy is CLOSED on: January 13, 2016, 10:22:22 AM
It appears this IS a Scam attempt.

It looks like hackers have managed to get all customer info, AND have control of Cryptsy email server - as the sam email they sent out came from Cryptsy servers.

So while not an expert I would suggest changing your password on Crytpsy to a strong one, make sure 2FA is enabled, and not to act on ANY email received from Cryptsy - check their website directly for updates.
2  Economy / Exchanges / Cryptsy is CLOSED? Scam email.... on: January 13, 2016, 09:31:56 AM
Just had an email from support@crypts saying it has closed.

The headers are identical to recently received valid emails, so it looks legit.

AAARGGH.

Hi, Cryptsy ceases its activities in the wake of the theft of most of Bitcoins from the COLD storage.

You can start a refund procedure at the link:   ...............

I am getting sick and tired of the problems with this tbh.   6 months of hassle and LOSSES.   Dont you guys ever test anything?

Ive just entered my bot settings and API keys for the zillionth time after a "sorry something has gone wrong" message.

Bitstamp and Crypsys are both not working with the 417 API key error.

The Classic interface crashes constantly requiring system reboot.

Insurances dont always work, charts dont refresh, trade log is never saved, bots to go bought position instead of sold, bots sell low and buy high, or just dont trade at all

Arrgh.  This thing just isnt reliable.  I spend so much time looking at it I might as well watch the charts and trade manually.

Test it, fix it, test it and test it again, and if it still doesnt work right issue refunds.

The new regression indicator seems to be working in reverse...   I get sell signals when they should be buy, and the other way round..

API settings gone again..  arrgggghhhh....  how many times have I entered them over the last 6 months  Huh
7  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: April 05, 2014, 11:15:59 PM
My simple licence will only allow me to run 2 bots..  I thought it was 3?

Paying customers **should** be able to run as many bots as we like on different exchanges for testing surely?  The licence should / could perhaps only limit the ones you actually activate...  Its a real PITS having to delete / recreate ones to test.

Also since updating to the latest version and having to recreate the bots and enter API keys AGAIN for the miionth time, I cant copy / paste / enter a Cryptsy key...  It just wont paste in.

@toxick

+1

No matter what settings I have tried over the last 3 months, different indicators, different combinations, different time periods the bot always buys high and sells low, and exits positions way too early.

Ive consistently lost money/coins.   Frustrated   Huh

I hate the web interface also.  Waaaaay too "clicky" for my tastes & everything is hidden away under more and more buttons.   All work does seem to have stopped on the old one which im disappointed about.

9  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: February 06, 2014, 01:27:58 PM
Another suggestion - have an (optional) ability to request user logon / password to the web interface....

10  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: February 05, 2014, 05:09:54 PM
Stephan,

I know that with the simple bot licence, you only get 2 trade bots..Right now if I try and add a 3rd I simply cant..

However I think you should allow unlimited trade bots - so people can set them up for testing for example.   I want to set up more for testing different exchanges etc.  Right now I cant as it would disrupt my active bots..

So I think the licence key should restrict ACTIVE / TRADING bots, not the total number of trade bots added...

@Stephan224

I downloaded and installed v0.9.5.0 I think from your new website yesterday morning, then in the afternoon when I restarted it offered me the update to v0.9.6.1 - which seemed to apply just fine.

I have no new 3 indicator buttons in the "Edit Indicator" page.

I have no update.zip file.

I would post a screenshot but not sure how to embed one in a post here.
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: February 04, 2014, 10:16:17 AM
Stephan,

You said - "I recommend unpacking the file "update.zip" manually"

Where is this update.zip file?

I downloaded the latest "HaasonlineTradingServerV010.zip" and extracted everything to my install folder and restarted, but I dont see the trade bot summary OR the new 3 buttons in the indicator reports.

Why dont you write an installer which takes a backup, then simple searches for and updates everything as needed, exiting / restarting as needed...?

The old uninstall, reinstall thing from the previous STB, or now manually copying files around is getting a bit annoying.

13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Haasonline Simple Trade Bot For BTCe and Bitstamp[Main topic] on: February 03, 2014, 05:32:48 PM
Hi,

In the previous STB there was the option for "all in" so that whatever profits you made in coin or in fiat could be "reinvested"...  What happened to that option?

Also a suggestion - on the Trad-Bots main screen, how about showing a summary of each of the totals and an overall total of Profit made, last buy / sell etc. so you dont have to "drill down" into each trade bot and add them up individually.

thx

Thanks - I will give that a try.  I read that guide about a year ago, didnt realise it had been updated with newer Linux info.  good stuff  Wink

btw - medialab101 - yes, I can get the cards to run 660+ BUT they arent stable - at least its not when running 3 cards.
The temps go too high, and Windows crashes / needs a restart - which loses coin if it happens overnight... I prefer to run slower, cooler, more stable.

sphornby - I have tried BAMT - which didnt run - just crashes on boot.  Im not a Linux guy, but I would like to give it a go at some point.  Thanks for the xubuntu tip - never heard of it actually...

Hi,

Sorry - I forgot all about giving the PSU info - THE most important bit !

In short, no, Ive found you cant run 3 cards on a 1250w PSU - at least not on my XFX 1250w gold - its runs for a bit, then just powers off...    I dont even think you could run them on a crazy money 1600w+ PSU as im pulling 1700w...

So I have a 1000W gold, which is hooked up to the mobo and 2 of the 7990 cards, and the 3rd 7990 card is hooked up to a spare 600w psu I had lying around.   I "jumped" pin 16 of the connector to pin 17 (ground) to get the second PSU to turn on.

Im going to add a 4th card when I get a chance for fun...

Lowering the card voltage / clocks didnt lower the draw at the wall hardly at all.

I got the cards from an online retailer in the UK who managed to get a big stock - all sold out in a day or 2 though...

I did find that putting the thread concurrency up over 16000 made the box run out of ram and crash windows - and I dont get any performance gain over 16000.

Hi guys, noob to the forum posting my first post to enable PM's..

Ive got 3 rigs running 3 x MSI 7990's each.  All running cgminer v3.3.1 / cgwatcher mining ALT's.

The sweetspot for power / heat / not overdriving the cards Ive found to be:

0.800v
850 gpu
1450 memclock
I=19
Threads = 16384
Temps: 70-85 degrees.  (One core always runs hotter for some reason)

Pulling 620 average per core - so 1240 per card.

MSI mobo.  Windows 7.  4GB physical RAM, 8GB page file.

Power draw is around 1700 at the wall.

Im an IT guy and tried all different combinations of drivers, sdk's, tweaks, overclocks and underclocks.

I dont know everything, but this config is solid for me.
