1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Difference in pairs on: December 19, 2017, 10:42:34 PM
I see some people saying that one pair is better than another in their opinion of percent gained.. such as Eth/Btc vs Eth/Usd. What exactly does that mean? And how do I distinguish that? For example if I think the Eth/bth pair will have higher percent gained then I just need to buy my eth with btc instead of usd or Ltd?

Also, if I have a decent profit on a alt coin when is it best to sell ... like for btc for examplel? Is it better if btc is doing better or worse? Or does btc itself not really matter? Thanks!

Hey everyone! I just got started in all of this within the last few weeks and am looking for any place you cold suggest to help me understand all of this in order to make better judgements for myself.

I have been reading the forums for a bit now and would like to know if theres anywhere you suggest to get a alt coins for dummies crash course hahaha. I got started in ethereum a few weeks ago when it was inn the 400s and put 200 buck on litecoin when it shot up so losing a little bit there but I'm willing to wait it out.

I see posts stating "Look at circulating coin supply and market cap too." Just curious as to what exactly I'm looking for when looking at this stuff.

Thanks for any help!
