I've been mining XMG since just before the December fork, and while I had hoped the payouts would go up sometime it's a month and a half later with no improvement.
Currently got 4 machines running at 60% and that's earning me .2 XMG per day (20¢). It's just not worth it when I can just take the money I'm burning in electricity and buy some on an exchange...
Anyway, I'll check in, because I wish you best of luck. I still think it's a great concept... just not working out for me I guess.

I’m legitimately shocked that the network hashrate has stayed this high. I have no idea why the whales continue to mine XMG... I make so much more money with other coins. They must be brain dead. Any rational sense would make you think they'd stop if they were making no or little profit. That's the problem, it is profitable for whales, he it making 31.2 coins a day which is currently $391 a month (@ 0.42c) |

WOW - minerclaim have a user doing over 15MH/s at the moment (magiUS 15,196 14.504) by himself
Also seeing some same names on a lot of sites that have a Max Hashrate per User of 250KH/s.

One week of full 24/7 mining for 0.299242 of a magi coin ! Avg of 70- 80k/s (Max of 130)
All but one friend has left and given up. Way to bring new blood into magi mining guys.
Whales or no whales, there is a major issue with this coin when people are doing the right thing and get penalized because others are not following the rules and the answer you get told around here is to just wait and they will go soon. (or get told you are a cry baby for letting out frustration) friendly lot if your an outsider looking in to join the group
What a load of horse s**t. I bet your mum's told you not to fight when you were a kid and just stand there getting punched, saying "It's OK dear, they will get tried of hurting you at some stage and go away."
This is not even fun doing this now, when you still seeing people running at 1 - 3Mk/s name popping up everywhere in the pools (finding blocks every 90 mins and seeing there actual share they are getting and you can't even find a block) Pool owners don't care at all, they are still getting there cut of the pie
BTW, don't speak your mind around here as everybody is brainwashed and you will be tarred and feathered for pointing out real world facts !!!!!!!!!
That's my 5 cents worth , (Woops forgot about the coin issues) correction, that my 0.000364 of a cents worth but don't worry you will get back close to 5 cents when the whales leave.

I have read conflicting information on how many coins you need for wallet staking to start happening. I have read as low as 12 but have 25 ish before things were put on hold and no staking was happening. Had posii=1 on conf and set to mpos minting enabled.
Have I missed anything ?

Anybody else getting a runtime error with the new windows wallet ?

I had that same problem because I did not have the conf file set up right. After correcting conf file it was fine. Might look into that maybe. Thank you for the info, that fixed it, I changed the config file before reboot and that when it started with the runtime error. Cheers |

24 hours of testing are passed. Results are good. Some little improvements are in progress. Hardfork will be there soon. Thanks for updating us |

To All,
We got an issue few days ago, and here I'd make quick overview:
1) I'm getting to a point for an internal test of the fix (tomorrow night); I appreciated those who have helped MAGI on this incident. In case one wish to test or review changes, you can come to Slack; find 111magic (coin_magi_xmg) / ex33s / me there.
This incident has been observed as being related to the Pow / PoS rule in combination with the fact that 2-hour future blocks allowed as in the original design. Addition to this, the new block rule disturbs the difficulty, and this feature of uncertainty seems yet to get around. In observation of the Pow / PoS rule actually not being a major factor fixing the prior chain forking issue, I'd go (temporarily to go permanent upon no upcoming concerns) disable it. In the meantime, we will do a reduction of time drift for the blocks.
2) We try to make a release of the fix within this week. My expectation is that the fix would be like changes implemented such a way that a hard fork is required. Chain downtime or rollback will be avoided as much as possible, and actually I don't see those are necessary. Except for a need of the hard fork to get mining back to normal, this incident seems no influence on things like sending / receiving. Let me know if I missed some thing.

I think Magi should step up its promoting game. Its quite unknown coin to public.
I see todays trend of rebranding doing nice work, have Magi ever consider this option?
i agree I have been trying to get friends to look at XMG but they google and don't find any social or talk about it, Magi need more PR to grow |

Yes, I am mining biblepay and ROIcoin. Both are great, and biblepay has masternode feature that going to apply soon. Can I ask what masternode is ? and will it help Sorry new to this Q |
